Our house was declared an asbestos spill and was unsafe to enter; and we hired Altura for the asbestos remediation. The owner Manny was exceptional to work with. He was detail oriented, responded quickly, and make numerous suggestions along the way to attempt to save me money in my home remediation. Furthermore, the entire remediation job was completed in just a few days. Lastly, Manny was willing t work out a payment plan option for the work given the cost, which was critical to the success of the project. Thanks a million Manny!

Despite some of the negative reviews I read about Breathe Fresh, I decided to hire them because most of the bad reviews were not that recent. I spoke with Bobby on the phone and he gave me a quote to clean our air ducts, fireplace and chimney. The next day I texted him to schedule the service and at the end he asked me to text him the address and the price he quoted me. I thought that was strange. Even more strange is that I was asked again the day of by Jon, who actually did the service, as he didn't know what the quoted price was either. Furthermore, Jon also had to ask me what service was being performed. Jon was great! He explained everything as he was doing it and showed me some before and after photos. The one knock on the actual service is that Jon left all of our vents closed, which I did not discover until a couple days later when I realized that the heater was running more often and for longer than usual. I didn't expect this because he ran the fan for almost 20 minutes before leaving to "get the air circulating." Not sure much was circulating though given the closed vents, but that's not the reason for the 2-star review. Keep reading... The first fire I burned in the fireplace after the cleaning resulted in a smokey odor in the house the next day. It was fine while the fire was burning, and I'm certain the damper was open, so I don't believe this to be an error on my part. I'm not claiming it has anything to do with the work that Jon did (or didn't do), but I contacted Bobby to share this info with the hopes that they'd come out to investigate. It had been a week since I burned a fire, but the odor didn't diminish despite the damper being closed and windows being opened during the day. Instead, I developed a cough and my eyes burned. I explained this to Bobby in my communication with him, but it didn't spark any urgency on his end. The timeline of our communication was as follows: Tue 12/12 @ 12:55 pm: I texted Bobby informing him of odor and asking for a good time to chat on the phone. Wed 12/13 @ 9:10 am: I called and left a message for Bobby since I got no response to my previous day's text. Wed 12/13 @ 5:49 pm: Bobby calls and leaves a voicemail, apologizes for missing my call earlier, and says to call him back or text for a faster response. I was at a holiday party, so was unable to answer or respond that evening. Thu 12/14 @ 10:15 am: I text Bobby (as instructed by his voicemail) and gave him a couple time slots in which I'd be available for a call that day. It is now 5:54 pm on Fri 12/15 and I still have not heard back from Bobby. Unfortunately I've had to hire another company to come out and investigate the potential causes for the odor, and I regret having hired Breathe Fresh in the first place. Based on reviews, it appears that Breathe Fresh does great work most of the time. In this instance, I'm discouraged by the lack of follow-through and the apparent disregard for quality customer service.

Saying that we cannot say enough about PB Abatement is an understatement. Gehrick Dickson and his…read moreteam are simply amazing. We had an unexpected asbestos discovery during a renovation despite having had asbestos testing prior to commencing. From our first phone call, through this entire process, Gehrick's communication with us along this journey has been extraordinary. He answered dozens of our questions before we even began the cleanup process. He was very flexible as our scope of work evolved. Gehrick accommodated meeting with us on Labor Day and his team worked on Saturday as well. After we had labeled our home contents to be discarded v. cleaned, Gehrick still went through boxes with us over FaceTime on questionable items to double check that the team didn't throw away things we wanted to keep. His crew members were patient and understanding of our emotional attachment to personal belongings. They also worked in 90 degree weather in our home without complaint. Gehrick is an exemplary human being who truly wants to help people in need. His work ethic is wonderful, and is one that is rare to find. We were charged a fair price for the work when other companies quoted more to do less. We feel extremely blessed to have met and worked with Gehrick and his crew. They made an incredibly stressful time easier, and for this, we are so grateful!

If I could give these guys a zero rating, I would. The rep from Lallier, Joel Sebern, was referred…read moreto us by the rep from Farmers Insurance because he said they did a few other roofs and the owners were happy; and they replaced our building's flat roof in August, 2018, and now it's already leaking. Joel is no longer with Lallier. I got the inspection report from the insurance company and it shows the roof general condition is poor-fair. I contacted Lallier and talked to their service manager, David Baker. He went out and said he repaired the leaks by placing some polyurethane sealant to seal the two pitch pans that were open. However, he did not seal the opening at the AC unit where the report said was a possible leak source. I called and talked to him and told him that the report estimated the roof age to be 15 years old even though they just replaced it a little over 2 years ago, it shows that the roof was in poor-fair condition and that there is no ice/water shield, the gutter they put on 2 years ago is already in fair condition, and there is only a single layer of ply membrane with no felt, the photos show the water is soaking throughout the roof everywhere and the parts where the water is pooling are in poor condition. David said it's because the materials shrunk and it's dipping down and blame it on the structure and that it will cost me $1500 to fix the part where the water is pooling. I told him Joel told me the material they used were of premium quality and it would not leak for 20 years and that I called the manufacturer and they told me Lallier got only the material warranty for me which was free for them to get and did not get a warranty with labor. This means they were being cheap. If they had told me that it would cost me more to get a warranty with labor, I'd have paid it. I told David he should have repaired where the part of the roof struction is dipping down for me at no charge and place the ice/water shield on it so to protect it from future damages. He said he will look at the report and call me back. I called and left a message and emailed him and have not heard from them. Don't hire these guys. The insurance rep told me most the roof jobs in the Denver areas should last at least 5 years without any problems. Their website give you reasons to hire them and they all are not true or do not apply to your case if you hire them. The only time you'd know there is a problem since you're not a roof expert is when there is a problem and then they don't fix it for you. I will go on Google review, Facebook and anywhere else I can find to let people know the shoddy jobs they do and will let the BBB know so they do get the A+ rating and cannot put that on their website anymore. If they do, I will contact the secretary of state of Colorado and complain to them for misleading advertising.

There's a reason why Puroclean gets five star reviews!…read more After a burst pipe caused two waterfalls coming from the ceiling directly into our spare bedroom the first week of winter vacation, I gave Puroclean a call to help with cleanup after realizing I was way over my head and seeing their reviews on Yelp. Although they were busy with many other burst pipe cleanup calls due to the extreme cold weather we had just experienced, Chase was at our home within an hour of my initial call. He immediately put my mind at ease and developed a game plan to return things back to normal. Chase and Anthony visited each day for a week to check on progress, move equipment around and gave me updates along the way. They have great communication, always let me know when they would arrive and were absolutely amazing to work with every step of the way. I hope I never need their services again, but in the unfortunate circumstance that I do, I wouldn't hesitate a nanosecond to give them a call. A truly class act company.

After I had sent the the flooring selection they had attempted (possibly an honest oversight) to install lesser quality flooring in a completely different shade that I had sent them. Had I not caught it, it would have been in stalled. I was given multiple assurances that the project would be finished in time so that our tenant would not be homeless. Needless to say that deadline was not met 4 months after the water damage on a project that was not huge. Communication started great until we started to just be told what we wanted to hear without any follow through. I would not recommend working with this company at all.
