(Long post warning) I've been seeing Dr. Hung since July 2019. I came to prepare myself for…read morepregnancy. I was so happy and excited at first when I got pregnant in November 2019 thinking Dr. Hung's herbs and advice really helped. However, I had a miscarriage in December 2019, after enjoying the good news of being a mom for just a little more than a week or so. I was devastated, thinking I must have done something wrong. Did I not sleep enough? Was I too anxious? Is it because my body wasn't ready? Or maybe it was the two sips of coffee that I accidentally drank. Dr. Hung tried to help save my baby with his herbs but it didn't work, which this was no one to blame for sure. I thought, maybe this just wasn't meant to be. Dr Hung had given me treatment with herbs to help my body recover from the lost, which restored my energy and body quickly. Shortly after there comes the pandemic. While I am still taking the herbs to prepare for my next pregnancy, we continued meeting through telehealth. During those 2 months of treatment online, my body had gotten worse. My heart beat has become much faster and I will easily faint. Dr Hung said it was probably due to stress and my body not having enough blood, so he adjusted the herbs. I also decided to visit him in person again as I thought maybe his treatment decisions would be more accurate if he can feel my pulse. A few months after, we've been trying to conceive but still have not succeed. I even took my husband with me to see Dr. Hung to get prepared. In October, Dr Hung told us we can stop taking the herbs and try to conceive (Officially). That's when I realized my heart rate has drastically increased even while resting. I would faint very easily and I have lost a lot of weight. I texted Dr Hung about my situation and he told me to go back to him if I don't get pregnant. With a rising concern of my health, I decided to consult my family doctor regarding my situation. After the blood test, I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, which I have no idea I had it prior to this check up. I was disappointed because Dr. Hung wasn't able to detect such issues until I did my blood test. But I still had a little faith in him as he rest assured that Chinese medicine can help with my condition. Constantly reminding me of his credentials and 30 years of experience, he said he can use Chinese herbs to help me and it would be better than taking western meds due to the known and unknown side effects that may even affect my next pregnancy. I asked him if taking the Chinese herbs would affect my thyroid going from hyper to hypo like what the western medicine do, and Dr. Hung said it will not because Chinese herbs will balance the values, unlike western medicine. One month into taking the Chinese herbs, my condition has improved but it also went into the other end of extreme. I became super tired all the time, and also gaining weight. My face would look super puff. I consulted Dr Hung and he said not to worry because the weather is changing and it is getting colder. It is normal to feel sleepy, tired, and feel swollen a little bit. A week later that appointment I took another blood test, before my appointment to the specialist. It was found that not only that I no longer have hyperthyroidism, but I went to the next extreme of being hypothyroidism. The TSH value was extremely high. I was so upset and disappointed with the result. After speaking to Dr. Hung, his explanation was "this proves my meds are super effective!". He explained how different people may have a different reaction to the medications, but in general his meds are effective. He reminded me again his credentials and experience with both Chinese and western medicine. But he refused to acknowledge his misjudgment on my situation, and his incompetence in listening to my concerns with my body even I've told him how I felt. He also went back and refuted what he said about the herbs wouldn't cause such situation by reasoning with how each body reacts differently. He also refused to let me know what are the ingredients in his medication which my specialist would love to know what's in my body and to make the right judgment for my treatment, saying this raises copyright issue. While I truly believe Chinese medicines has its own benefits and I am still a true believer in it, I would like to summarize by saying there are things Chinese medicine can't substitute. A good solid blood test is one for sure, which I think Dr hung would agree himself too. But on top of that, while Chinese herbs can definitely help in many ways, it can also masks the symptoms of what truly lies beneath your body. Do be aware that you won't get to know what you're actually eating and putting inside your body unless Dr Hung would graciously let you know the ingredients. I hope people who are reading this will be aware of the risks and make the right decisions for themselves, especially for people who have similar situation as me.

5 Stars - Life-Changing Care from Dr. David Valle…read more I've been seeing Dr. David Valle at True Health & Wellness for the past 9 months, and the difference he's made in my life is incredible. When I first came in, I was dealing with lower back, hip, and foot pain that was affecting my training and daily comfort. Dr. Valle took the time to understand my concerns and created a thorough, personalized treatment and workout plan. Thanks to his expertise and care, I've not only been pain-free--I've been injury-free. I was able to train for and complete a half marathon feeling strong, confident, and without any issues. That's something I couldn't have imagined before starting treatment. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares and delivers real results, I highly recommend Dr. Valle and the team at True Health & Wellness. Thank you, Dr. Valle!

I've been seeing Dr. David at True Health and Wellness in Tustin for about six or seven months now,…read moreand the improvement I've experienced has been incredible. I came in with serious back, neck, and hip issues--some from childbirth, some from working a sedentary job--and within the first month and a half, I saw major progress. Dr. David is extremely diligent and takes the time to truly understand what's going on. He listens, explains, and adjusts care based on your specific needs. I've never felt rushed or like I was just another appointment on the schedule. I've also never felt pressured to come in more than needed--his focus is genuinely on your health and healing, not on sales. My lower back pain is now minimal, and while healing takes time, I have full confidence I'll be back to 100% with his care. The office is clean, professional, and welcoming. You can tell the team knows their stuff. Highly, highly recommend!

The team at R&R are amazing!…read more I started coming to R&R in March 2026 for a frozen shoulder and rotator cuff issue. I've been in constant pain for 1.5 years, and had gone through 15 PT sessions elsewhere that actually made me feel worse. I had to get a steroid shot and 10 acupuncture sessions to help with the pain. After all these things, certain movements still caused stabbing pain on my shoulders, and my movements are so restricted that I need daily help reaching for things. I was not able to sleep without my pain in my shoulder either, which impacted my quality of life. Dr. Alison Wu has worked on me since March. She is so approachable, and she manually works on different areas of my body to help my shoulder heal. She does not ignore my pain tolerance during treatment sessions, and explains what she is doing and what I should feel as she works. Her exercises and recommendations are so helpful to maintain the progress at home. In June, I finally started sleeping through the night. I continue to sleep without pain since then, which is so very important. Each week, my range of movement continue to improve, and most importantly, the movements are not accompanied by restrictive pain. Last week, I was able to finally move myself off the couch without needing help, and I was not in pain. I cried because it was such a relief to be able to do simple movements independently without pain, and finally being able to get consistent, restful sleep. I also started acupuncture with Dr. Rebecca Chou. She listens really well and assesses my acupuncture needs during the visit. While the focus is to help my shoulder heal, she also helps my body rest. Trisha at the front desk is so welcoming and friendly, and always so accommodating. My family had to make the financial commitment to pay out of pocket for these visits, but it's worth it to regain mobility and live without pain. Thank you R&R for all you do to help people live without pain!

I have been looking for a therapeutic massage therapist for a long time and am so glad to have…read morefinally found Kuzu. There are plenty of spa and no frills massage places in the area but I wanted someone who understands physiology and is a certified massage therapist. Kuzu is highly trained and experienced in shiatsu, acupuncture, and other Eastern medicine techniques. His practice focuses on wellness, not just pampering and relaxation, and he is genuinely interested in his patients' health and well-being. The office is located in an office park with a large parking lot and the waiting room is nicely decorated with comfortable seating. The treatment room is small but very clean and cozy. On my first visit, Kuzu took the time to discuss my medical history and current complaints. He had let me know in advance that we would be spending about 10 min on the consultation before the massage so I knew what to expect. For anyone who is unfamiliar with shiatsu, the massage is done on top of your clothes so you don't need to get undressed. However, I was still able to feel the massage and Kuzu made sure the pressure wasn't too strong. He massaged my entire body, including head, arms, legs, fingers, and toes but made sure to address my problem areas. The massage released the tension in my muscles and significantly relieved my pain. Now that I've found Kuzu, I will be going to him regularly. I highly recommend Kuzu to anyone who is looking for a holistic approach to pain relief.

I've had treatment done in the past and it was through Kaiser NoCal so when I came here to my surprise my plan also helped cover some sessions here. However, if you do not health insurance does cover these kinds of specialty services, Dr. Won can let you know of the per session cost. I don't think it was anything outrageous though. He was also able to check if I was eligible to be covered pretty quick (in a few minutes or less at the beginning of our first session - and I was eternally grateful). He not only provided traditional acupuncture and cupping (not fire cupping FYI, it was suction based) for me that I was used to, but also added in some new therapies like electrostimulation, ultrasound, and red light therapy. Also added bonus since I came in with a tight back and shoulders that really added to my wrist and finger pains he also taught me some exercises to help loosen up the tension! Also, if you are a little nervous about needles like I have been I thought he was pretty gentle when placing them on the necessary points for your treatment plan! I am super grateful and when I'm back in town I plan to schedule another appointment with him - which is quick and easy to do! My first appointment I scheduled via Yelp and then from there I got his contact information to make appointments directly. Thanks again, Dr. Won and see you next time!
