Finding a dermatologist you actually trust feels impossible, especially when you're dealing with current, painful skin issues. You, like me, had already wasted time, and money, on providers who don't seem to really listen. That's exactly why Dr. Liz Olsen stands out. I originally went to Dr. Olsen for late-onset cystic acne, which is an incredibly painful, inflamed, and honestly affecting my confidence more than I'd like to admit. After seeing other dermatologists who either missed the mark or offered generic solutions, Dr. Olsen was the first doctor who truly took the time to assess what was going on and create a treatment plan that felt informed, personalized, and effective. Then, because my skin apparently loves chaos, I developed a mild staph infection from a tattoo reaction. While I was out of town and stressed, Dr. Olsen responded quickly, guided me immediately, and saw me first thing the next business day. She diagnosed and treated the infection appropriately before it could escalate, adjusted medications as needed, and followed my healing closely. What truly sets Dr. Olsen apart is not just her expertise, but her clinical demeanor and care approach. She is incredibly knowledgeable, reassuring, responsive, and compassionate. She had a rare ability to make me feel genuinely cared for while also being extremely competent and proactive. I never feel dismissed, rushed, or like just another appointment on the schedule. As someone who has worked in dermatology field for seven years, I can honestly say Dr. Olsen is one of the best dermatologists I've ever encountered. Her clinical skill, professionalism, and patient care are exceptional. If you're looking for a dermatologist who is smart, attentive, and truly invested in helping you get results, Dr. Olsen is absolutely worth it. I recommend to my friends and loved ones without hesitation. read more

I have been coming to Liz Olson for years now and I cannot speak more highly of her as a provider. She has such a remarkable understanding of dermatology with incredible listening skills and an innate ability to communicate solutions in simple terms so you aren't left feeling overwhelmed. Be it the treatment of superficial scars or blemishes to routine annual checkups (and everything in between), she has always answered the myriad of questions that I have and is simply fantastic at her job. I feel confident that my skin is thoroughly looked after. read more

TLDR: I genuinely believe most providers are doing their best, and life is hard enough without internet trolls. That said, I wish I had been warned--Liz completely botched my face in ways I didn't think possible with Botox and a tiny amount of filler. I'd been going to Rappaport for years and, after my amazing PA Christine left, assumed Liz would be equally skilled. This is an expensive, reputable Beverly Hills dermatology office after all. I asked for Botox in my forehead, crow's feet, and chin dimples, plus a very small amount of lip filler (.25 vial). I spent $1,200, expecting expertise. Instead, every injection was wrong. She hit my depressor labii inferioris on one side of my chin, leaving the bottom right of my lip paralyzed and my smile asymmetrical. She placed the Botox around my eyes too low, causing strange new wrinkles in my cheeks when I smile. And the small amount of lip filler remains hard and clumpy instead of smooth. I share this not to troll, but to warn others: I paid $1,200 for results that left me looking disfigured. Botox is temporary, thankfully, but consider yourself warned. When I sent photos of the clear asymmetry, the only "solution" offered was for Liz to touch it up--at no charge. Needless to say, I won't be letting her near my face again. read more

Had Botox and lip filler done with Liz and I'm SO pleased! All the women in the office were so sweet and took such great care of me from start to finish. Also, I'm obsessed with the results. So many people have given me compliments on my lips since!! I will definitely be returning for future treatments. read more

Liz is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about getting real results. I wouldn't trust my skin with anyone else. She is the best. Full stop. She was incredibly proficient and it was obvious from the start that she's an expert. She knew exactly how to approach my acne scarring and took the time to explain everything, which made me feel really confident going into the treatment. After just one CO2, I saw about a 90% improvement. I am so grateful I went to her read more

Saying Vicki Chen, MPH, PA at Rapaport Dermatology is exceptional does not do justice! From the moment I walked in , I felt heard, respected and genuinely cared for. Professional and efficient . Above all, she was kind. I never imagined I would ever be writing a review in the first place but the word "Respect" is not something that comes easily to old and very critical ICU nurses to describe fellow health care providers. Thank you! read more

Overdue review! I see Liz Olsen for Botox, I have a tricky application because one side of my face has much stronger muscles so it's hard to find someone that really can find facial balance not just follow a typical Botox map. She's also helped with skin cancer screening and knows how to look at diverse skin tones, I'm mixed with lots of freckles and sometimes doctors struggle to catch abnormal freckles/moles on me. The front desk was also very easy to book with and it's a beautiful office. read more

I've absolutely love Dr. Vicki. I've been coming here for years. She's very gentle and thorough.

I'm going to try to keep this brief and let the photos speak volumes. I was treated by Vicki, seen once by Liz when Vicki was unavailable to see me for a one-day notice appointment. I went in for several small lesions near my right ear and was diagnosed with adult- onset acne and excoriation (i.e. self- infliction). I don't know about you, but there is nothing about these that look self inflicted to me. I was placed on antibiotics for acne and sent on my merry way. A couple of weeks later when I went back for reconsult due to increasing number and size of lesions, Vicki reprimanded me for being impatient and not waiting for the antibiotics to take full effect. She furthermore emphasized their origin on my PSYCHOLOGICAL disorders when I couldn't answer her exactly how they appear of my face. Can one know exactly the moment a pimple materializes on their face? I was working two very demanding full-time jobs and getting another graduate-level degree at night/weekends. Sleep was a myth to me. My apologies for not being able to answer your question on cue Dr. Sherlock, who suddenly thinks has me all figured out after knowing me for less than 1 hr. She even called me later that evening to ask me the same question. I hadn't thought about the question again, so I still had no concrete answer for her. Her opinion of me did not change, and at my 3rd appointment I suddenly felt like I was more being treated for OCD and self-inflicting bodily harm rather than a skin condition. I didn't see a board certification in psychiatry anywhere.... On a separate and final occasion that I visited them, her PA Liz even went as far as to grab my wrists when I was using my hands while I was talking and showing her something about my face. I am an educated woman with a medical degree of my own. HOW. DARE. YOU. Calling me "Dr." while she did it did not change the circumstances. Long story short, it took almost another year to kill this pervasive candidiasis. She got the entire class of infecting microorganisms completely wrong- one is bacterial, the other is fungal. But the whole point to this is that to this day I'm amazed at their capacity to throw blame and responsibility back on the patient, all the while doing so with a sweet face and a smile. Instead of as admitting that she was wrong and taking the next steps as a good diagnostician would in trying to find a cause, she just sent me home to wait for pigs to fly. I would still be having those wounds on my face today, read more

Hands down the worst experience at a doctor's office I've ever had. This is a long review but please fully read to avoid the horrible experience I had. I was recommended this place by a friend and I regret ever coming here. Since my first appointment in January, their phones have not worked and continue to not work. They make you use this messaging site/app called Klara. I brought this up to my doctor and she assured me they were fixing the phone issue. To this day it has not been fixed. It will ring and then prompt you to leave a message but good luck trying to get a call back. The real issue came from them overcharging me on every single one of my visits. They are in my network and I was to have the same $54 copay every visit + bloodwork, yet there were some visits where I was overcharged as much as $65. I fully trusted them and did not even realize they were doing this until months later. When I was finally able to get a hold of them (after days of them ignoring my messages on Klara), the girl on the phone confirmed that I was being overcharge and that I had all this money in "credit" that I could use for future visits. I know insurances can be tricky and a number of things can happen but when I asked why wasn't I notified of these overcharges she told me it was the patient's responsibility to ask. Uhm?? Wtf? In what world is it my responsibility to ask if I'm being overcharged? After hours of double checking with my insurance and calculating the total amount - I found I was overcharged a total of around $106. I first tried to see if I could get on a quick call with my doctor to let her know the office was doing this but they would only let me talk to her if I booked a telemedicine appt that they would charge me for. So I then asked to speak to the office manager and did not get a response until 10 days later even after following up every couple days. My insurance even tried calling them since I told them they were refusing to answer my calls and messages about paying me back but they were also not able to get through. Finally the manager told me she was on vacation which I understand but how is it that no one working there was able to update me in the 10 days that I was ghosted? What kind of customer service is this? Once I went over the issue with her she apologized but refused to take accountability for them not notifying me about the overcharges. She said she would look into it and call me back but another week or more went by with no call from her. In the end she insisted they only owed me $85 not the $106 that I calculated with my insurance. She said she would talk to Dr. Rapaport about paying me the rest but I never heard from her again. I got the $85 refunded back to my card and I just gave up on the rest just to get over this headache of an experience. I truly wonder how many patients they are fucking over. Seriously the most shadiest place and absolutely horrible customer service. My treatment itself was great and I got amazing care from Christina, but everyone else that runs the office including Priyanka the office manager I spoke to, lacked any empathy or urgency when it came to taking care of patient issues. I truly believe if I had not been persistent, they would have kept my money. read more

I've been going to Rapaport for a long time and now my son is getting acne and they are doing a great job

My daughter has eczema and in the last several months has had multiple flair ups. My pediatrician recommended Rapaport and I am so beyond grateful. I have been to both the culver city snd Beverly Hills locations and had wonderful experiences in both. By far the best customer/ patient experience I have experienced in any dermatology office in my 40+ years. They are kind, efficient, professional and knowledgeable. They treated my daughter with a great sense of urgency based on her symptoms. I could not recommend them enough. Thank you to all the doctors and staff in both locations. read more

Liz Olsen is a total artist with injections. She made me look 10 years younger. Filler and Botox. I can not give her enough praise. She just does enough to make it look natural and refreshed. But much better version of yourself. Definitely a confidence boost. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great injector and medical practitioner. She helps me with any other issues I might have. From bug bites , allergic reactions etc. and she is the kindest person. She works in Culver City and beverly Hills so easy to get to. Definitely check her out. read more

As a 49 year old woman with a million moles and fair skin, I have been going to Rappaport for mole checks, various procedures and more, for the last 8 years. This also gave me a unique perspective to watch the Rappaport practice move from being an all service dermatologist to becoming what feels like a purely cosmetic practice. I live east of Hancock Park but happened to be on Roxbury by the Rappaport office for a meeting today. I dropped by to pick up my normal retinol lotion product from the office and was turned away because I had not been there in a year and to get my retinol product meant I had to book an appt. The person conveying all of this information was unkind and unhelpful and was not pleasant whatsoever. My experience prior was that I could literally call the office and get that product waiting for me at the counter, so this was a strange turn of events. The person helping me said I'd have to get a tele-health appt or an in person appt. All I could say to this was "that's weird" and then left. In closing, I'll be looking for a new dermatologist as I've not been able to get an appt with Vicky (the main dermatologist and owner of the practice) in some time and she's the most thorough when it comes to the purely medical side of dermatology, and I hope the new dermatologist I pick has staff that are kinder than what i experienced today. read more

I've come here on several occasions over the past 5 years. I've seen Dr Vicki Rapaport twice for check ups (once at Culver location) and she was great and super kind. I later scheduled with Liz Olson after hearing great things about her and because Dr Rapaport was booked during the time frames I needed to be seen. I needed to have a procedure done on my back and Liz Olson was super thorough with me and made something very smooth and easy. This would have normally been very scary for me. Her skills and bedside manner are unparalleled in my opinion. I've referred my whole family to her because I trust what she does. Her assistant Emmie (spelling?) was awesome with me as well. Front desk staff are very kind and accommodating. read more

Got laser treatment on my face from Dr Olson. She was very professional and honest about the process- that it would take time to remove acne scarring left over from my teenage years. I felt supported and confident going in- I'm not a big skincare guy but thought I'd give it a shot. After 3 treatments, I love the results. I can hardly see any marks at all- wrinkles improved as well. I actually feel like I have nice skin. Will definitely be going again. I had such a good experience I decided to give Botox a try as well and they fit me into her schedule right away. Thanks Rapaport Derm! read more

The doctors are great. The billing Department. That needs much work. I went there back in June. They removed something from my stomach to get it tested and looked at by a lab. The Lab, Affiliated Pathologists Medical Group, Billed me $40 after the Insurance made a payment and adjustment. I paid their bill. Then I get a bill in the Mail from Rapaport Dermatology. It was for the same exact thing, TISSUE EXAM BY PATHOLOGIST. Except this was for $60.71. I call the billing department at RAPAPORT and go through everything with them. And I am told "It is for the Doctor". To which I said "HUH?". The bill is for the same thing. I also explained that I pay the doctor in full when I get to the office as you all do not take my insurance but clearly the lab did. They then tell me I would need to call my insurance to have them explain. To which I said "you do not take my insurance". I have the receipt from when I was at the office, I have the lab payment receipts. So what is your bill for exactly? To which she said "Are you refusing to pay the bill?". I was stunned at the comment. I told her "This is clearly double billing". She told me "I already explained it to you and you will need to call your insurance". I called my Insurance. They saw all the bills and said "Rapaport" turned in the bill and they did not pay because they had already paid the LAB. The insurance company said this was clearly double billing and turned it over to anther department to deal with it. Honestly I am sadden by what has transpired because I like the doctors. But the billing was frustrating, double talk and ridiculous on every level. They simply refused to look, explain or even attempt to come up with a single piece of logic of why I was being billed twice for the same thing. The attitude from the billing person was more of "look dummy pizzzz off and pay the bill we owe you nothing".... Side Note: The billing code on each bill is exactly the same. read more

I really like Dr. Rapaport herself (good luck getting an appointment with her though- she's booked out into 2024). She has a great personality and is very helpful. My biggest issue is with her office staff- really unprofessional and slow. Probably the worst I have encountered in any doctors office I've been to in LA/BH. No one picks up the phone, takes ages to get back to you in chat, present in a very disengaged way, and make billing errors. I was being billed for something 6 months after a visit that no one could give me a logical or straightforward explanation for. I actually feel really bad that such a wonderful and knowledgeable doctor like her has office staff and systems that reflect poorly on her business. read more

Rude, incompetent and lazy front office staff. So hard to get someone on the phone. I ordered product from them that they charged me for and never sent. Once I made THEM aware of this, 4 days after it was supposed to be sent, they did nothing to take ownership of the situation or fix the problem. I know it's hard to find decent hard-working people these days, but this has been such a turn off that I would rather use a different dermatologist office. THAT'S how bad my experience has been. Thanks for nothing Gabriella! read more

I have suffered from topical steroid withdrawal, also known as red skin syndrome for about 2.5 years. My experience with dr Marvin has been short, about 4-5 appointments but I can say that i am 95% healed. In regards to one of the reviews saying he has an attitude, yes I can agree on that, especially with my first appointment. He seemed demeaning the first time I met him, but after a few appointments I can see he truly cared. I was and still am seeing a naturopath during the time which I can say had also contributed to my healing, but dr rapapport held my hand during this tough and traumatizing journey. I even cried and he hugged me telling me I'll be alright. He provided the medication I needed, and always reassured me that i was on my way to healing. I am sorry for anyone going through TSW, it is hell but I can reassure you my healing went uphill after seeing dr rapapport. read more

My son developed eczema at 2 years old. I was prescribed steroid cream by Pediatrician. Over the next 12 months "eczema" took over his entire body. Feet to scalp. I was prescribed more steroid creams and referred to Dermatologist and Allergist. It was suggested he try oral or injectable steroids and I declined treatment. I found Dr. Rapaport online after a parent mentioned Red Skin Syndrome on a "mommy blog." I live in San Francisco but eventually took my son in for consultation. Dr. Marvin saved his life! With the correct diagnosis, his skin went from unimaginable conditions to clear. He actually listens to his patients and now my son is living a "normal" life. SHAME ON YOU DR. MARVIN RAPAPORT! THIS MAN IS A MONSTER! I took my sister to see Dr. Marvin Rapaport after seeing an interview he did on Red Skin Syndrome (AKA: Topical Steroid Withdrawal). My sister had given up hope that any doctor / dermatologist could help her, But then I found that video of Dr. Marvin Rapaport talking to a women who had the same problem as my sister. I can't tell you how excited I was that someone was talking about this disease I told my sister we had to try one more doctor and she agreed to go. Now let me be clear my sister doesn't have a small problem she has a HUGE problem with her skin. I have spent so many months hearing her scream in pain, months of seeing her unable to get out of bed, months of her skin flaking, stinging, and itching from head to toe. 99% of her body is covered in this rash that leaves her with the feeling of a million papercuts and electric shocks from head to toe. When we arrived for the first appointment, we were shocked to see cards and photos from patients Dr. Marvin Rapaport had help. Finally I thought we found someone who could help my sister. He walked in and we were crying with joy that we had finally found someone who would help and acknowledge that the medical system had failed my sister. If only I would have known that Dr. Marvin Rapaport would be the worst, most vile doctor of the hundred we have seen. All seemed to be going ok at first, he acted like he cared and got her on medication that did help her symptoms. The only problem we seemed to have is that when she would go to follow up appointment and explain what changes and problems she was experiencing he would shout at her with the response "I know!!! I know!! I know what problems you have I don't need to know anymore just take the medication." We even asked the nurses if he was always like this with patients and they would say "I am so sorry, he definitely has his ways about him." I told my sister this was not an appropriate response from a doctor especially one who has made a documentary (which he advertised at every appointment) and she should say something but she said he was getting her the medication she needed and she couldn't keep searching for doctors so we would have to deal with his attitude and know he won't listen to her updates. Now as I stated before my sister can barely get out of bed. Even with the medication she is in pain and she is not very mobile. We were told virtual visits were not available and she would need to come in. On one particularly bad day she was not able to make the appointment so she canceled in advance and was told that the next cancelation would cause a $50.00 cancelation fee...which I understood. Several months later she had to cancel again and I called in and paid the $50.00 cancelation fee. I then got a message saying I would have to pay $100.00 deposit to be seen on the next appointment. I told her I had already paid the late fee and I was not prepared to pay $100.00 more but I would come in and pay in advance for the next appointment if it was that big of an issue. She then told me it was fine and to just come in. Knowing Dr. Marvin Rapaport attitude with my sister I decided to take off work and go with her to this appointment in case he yells at her. Well thank god I did! The nurse comes in and takes our info as normal and then Dr. Marvin Rapaport comes in.....He sits in the chair in front of us arms crossed, scowl on his face and legs stretched out like he is some kind of tough guy. My sister says " Hi Dr. Marvin how are you?" He then snaps at her and says "This isn't about me this appointment is about you!" I then say why are you speaking to her like that? He says "She has missed several appointments" I said "She has missed two appointments in eight months and I paid for the second missed appointment and offered to pay in full for the next appointment." He then yells "I don't need any of your lip!" I say "I am not trying to argue but how could you be so cruel and uncaring? You know what she is going through and that she can barely stand, and you just made a documentary about people with her disease." He responds with " I think you should go to another doctor she is no longer welcome here" He then quickly walks out of the room. HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO SOMEONE??? OVER TWO MISSED APPOINTMENTS IN EIGHT MONTHS WHICH I PAID FOR?! This man made a whole documentary about how debilitating this disease is and this is what he does to patients?! Takes away he medication which in itself can cause major medical side effects from just stopping it and not gradually stopping the medicine. At this point we have now lost hope in the medical system.... Even the doctor who made a documentary about this disease doesn't care about patients. read more

I have been going to Rapaport Dermatology for years. Oh, the joys of being an adult with acne. I am always able to get an appointment within a reasonable amount of time...and I always ask for PA Vicki Chen. She is honest, doesn't push anything you are not comfortable with, her bedside manners matter... she makes me feel comfortable, and takes the time to answer all my countless number of questions. Actually, EVERYONE in the office is nice, helpful, and attentive...which turns a stressful situation into a pleasant experience. Pro-tip -- try to get a morning appointment and park at the public lot across the street for two hours free. Later in the afternoon, the area becomes quite busy. Also, have them send your prescription to BH Apothecary downstairs and it's usually ready within 15 mins...just enough time to grab a cup of coffee or go to rite aid to buy some deodorant lol. read more

While our experiences with Dr. Vicki have always been great, some members of her office staff have behaved in a manner untenable in a professional environment. My son had an appointment with Dr. Vicki in November of 2023. As a university student, he gained the university health insurance. On that visit, he provided the staff member at the desk with the insurance details. The school insurance became his primary, as was stated to the employee. My son is also still covered under my husband's and my insurance, which became the secondary. We heard nothing from the office, and assumed that the entire bill was paid by the two insurance companies, save for the small amount we were told was our responsibility, and which we paid promptly in December 2023. We received a bill, over a year from the date of service, at the end of November 2024, saying we owed an amount. We weren't sure what the bill could be so I called in and found that it was from that date of service, over a year prior. No one at the office seemed to have details so I called both of my son's insurance companies and found out that first, his primary was never sent the charging documents and second, that only the secondary was charged, paid and then recalled the funds stating to the office staff that the office had failed to charge the primary. Again, no one from the office, when the funds were recalled, contacted us. The office staff was made aware, first by my son and husband and then multiple times by the secondary insurance company, that the office had neglected to charge my son's primary insurance. Unfortunately, we only found out after a year from the date of service when it is now too late to charge any insurance. I made so many calls, speaking first with Priyanka who then refused to respond to numerous subsequent messages, and talking to others such as Leticia and Ally, who promised return calls from Priyanka, to no avail. I finally received a call from Ally, at the billing office, offering a tiny discount on the bill, on a bill for something that was 0% our fault. Again, we already paid a deductible which we now don't know if we ever owed, as it was just from the secondary being charged and based on the amount they paid. I don't mind paying what would be our deductible, following the billing of both insurances, but I don't appreciate being asked to pay for a mistake made by the staff. How can such a good doctor employ people who aren't willing to own up to their mistakes and then try to pressure a patient to pay money that they don't owe? It's unethical and, per our secondary insurance company, a bill we absolutely do not owe. I asked to get a call back from Dr. Vicki to let her know what was going on, and Priyanka yelled at me that I absolutely would not be getting a call. I stated that I wanted to make a complaint directly to the doctor and she was so rude to me. Extremely upsetting and disappointing!! read more

Great find! Very professional, nice office staff. Skin check was thorough and careful. Did not try to upsell services. Billed insurance.

When this office was in charge of Dr. Rapaport- the father- it was a different story. Kind and caring and left a great name for his daughter to carry on. I went to her but every time it was fast , in a hurry. Then I went to have a mole removed and she said: 'wait for the pandemic to be over, it's not urgent'. Well, it continued to grow, I went back and fortunately she didn't see me; it was a nurse who removed it , sent it to analyze and it was "bad", yes, cancerous. It was obviously reported to dr. Rapaport- daughter- and she didn't even call me to say 'sorry, I should have listened'... I had to go all the way to another office so I could confront her, and she said, oh, ok, next mole we'll charge with a discount!! Wow!! Never went back. There are other caring dermatologist. A name is not enough. read more

This is tricky. ONLY see Dr.Vicki Rapaport. She is an excellent, top of the line doctor. She has seen me TWICE (gratis) to try and rectify a small scar on my nose from an incorrect procedure a PA did at her office. Her service and nature are impeccable and professional. I can honestly say I absolutely admire, trust and appreciate her. My scar may never go away and that is not okay. I can not support the PA who injured me. I can not support the fact there was no physician in the room when the PA pushed past my resistance and scarred my nose. However, this particular review is only for doctor Vicki who is very skilled and thoughtful. I would recommend Vicki Rapaport without hesitation. However, I would not allow myself to be seen or treated by any one else in the office. Maybe she should clone herself? 3/28/17 - The scar on my nose is worsening as I get older - the scar that was created by a procedure I did not request by an inexperienced, unsupervised PA. The scar in the middle of my face. Dr Vicki is great, but do not see anyone else. read more

I've was a patient here for almost 3 years from 2016 - 2019 dealing with TSW/RSS. I actually relocated from the east coast to the west coast to be closer to this office after seeing Dr Rap's videos on Youtube. I was prescribed Cyclosporine and after about 2 years on this medication, the effects of the medicine were not working well. My symptoms came back quite strong and unfortunately I again had to quit my new job for the 3rd time. With finances becoming a big problem, my wife and I had to decide to relocate back to the east coast to be with our family for their support. During this transition from moving from the west coast back to the east coast, Dr Rapaport's office and office manager did not make this transition easy nor care about our financial issues or honestly the well being of me. Because I was no longer going into their office in Beverly Hills for my visits they wanted to charge me $250 per Telephonic call just to get my prescription of Cyclosporine refilled monthly. At this time I also did not have any medical insurance due to quitting my job due to the symptoms and I was paying for all of this out of pocket. The medicine itself cost me close to $200 monthly plus they wanted to charge me their $250 Telephonic fee while I had no job nor could I work because my hands were blistered so bad that I couldn't use my hands to do any work. I requested from the Office Manager if they could at least just charge me their normal $150 fee from when I was going into the office because of my financial situation. The Office Manager did not care whatsoever and stated this was their policy with a "too bad" type of attitude. This was a heartbreaking experience for me as their patient who originally relocated from the East Coast to be closer to them in California and after Financial issues became too great and we had to relocate, I still wanted to be their patient and work with them. Their greed for money and lack of personal care to me as a patient is the reason for me writing and completing this review. I parted ways with Dr Rapaport's office in 2019 and started Dupixent (Dupilimab) after I was selected for a their one year DupixentMyWay program for candidates who don't have insurance and other had little results from other medicines. I have had great success with this medicine and I am now back to working a full time job with benefits for the last year. Overall I truly wish Dr Marvin Rapaport the best, but this experience was absolutely terrible and their greed for money is what I warn other new patients of. My last conversation with their office manager didn't end well and she actually hung up on me. When my wife called 5 days later to request for my medical records because we had an upcoming appointment 4 days from than with a Dermatologist in Virginia where we relocated to. My wife was extremely polite and requested if they could please send over our records before this appointment. This office was so petty that they took the full 2 weeks that are allowed legally to send my records. Before any new patients make any drastic changes to their lives and decide to go this office I encourage you to explore all options there are. I regret making the choice to move across country for a Dr who doesn't truly care about their patients. Once the finances became an issue I saw how the office and manager began to treat me. Honestly disgusting and greedy. This office can go kick rocks for all I care now - Thumbs Down!!!!!! read more

I went in for a simple mole removal. Everything went well until they left 6 stitches in my back. I had to go to serval other doctors to clean up the mess they made. My scar healed with stitches still in my back that almost got inflected. They can't count how many stitches they put it and how many they took out. Please save your self and go somewhere else. It's a very nice office with nice staff. I'm complaining from a purely medical standpoint because they did not operate on my body properly. If you are looking for the best medical experience. I do not recommend. read more

I just moved here and needed to find a dermatologist right away. I initially went to another derm but was not pleased. My primary doctor referred me instead to Dr.Rapaport's office. I met with Kate Stults, PA, and was a little concerned but she was absolutely amazing. She listened to me and spent a little extra time getting to know me. I am so glad I found someone I can trust. Highly recommend! read more

I would not recommend this dermatology office . I developed severe melasma due to it being triggered during a time I was getting microneedling done by an esthetician who failed to asses my skin with this condition . I was lost and didn't know what to do so I came in and saw Christina Naranjo , PA. Since she saw me her bed side manners have not been graceful . I first saw her in the Beverly Hills office and heard her say loudly in the hallway It's Horrible outside of the room I was in ! I was not aware of what's going on with my skin and this is how she presents herself to a client extremely unprofessional ! . She had seen me 2 times during a period of 5-6 months time . She provided me with prescriptions that I didn't follow through which included topicals , since I was scared and had never applied anything to my skin before . During this time my skin had improved and I wasn't doing much . The integrity of my skin and tone was still present . I went back and she recommended a peel which I was pondering about and not sure if I should do . I asked her questions about it should I be using something before getting the peel , how strong is the peel , telling her I don't want it to get worse . Instead of giving me options , recommendations , listening to my concerns - she cuts me and in short tells me that's all we offer in a really unprofessional tone . Says you don't need to do anything to your skin - your fine to just get the peel as is and see me. Huge mistake. This peel destroyed my face - i developed severe hyperpigmentation and it ruined my skin barrier !! It looked as though someone scrubbed my face as I developed this leathery texture on my skin and looked grey - it ruined the integrity of my skin . My skin tone turned into a highlighter yellow colour and has this red / bruise like appearance . I also experienced my nose throbbing for several months and would have to ice it and take pain killers - I believe due to trauma my skin has been permanently damaged . I went through a severe depression because I didn't know what I was seeing and how to fix this . Fast foward to a year later and my skin has not recovered- this hyperpigmentation is deep in my skin and has made my melasma worse. I seeked help through more experienced dermatologist such as Dr Grimes and an ethnic esthetician and they were pissed off!! They told me you can never just apply a peel on someone's face you need to prepare you skin because your skin is not used to treatments . I went back to see Christina and she tells me it's an underlying condition or it can be jaundice - wtf ? How stupid do you think people are . Clearly I ran into a person who lacks knowledge or plays dumb - I've learned this skin condition should have never been treated aggressively! I'm positive had I tried other methods my skin would be in better place , as I've seen people with far worse progress . Now I have to deal with this due to someone who just has a title in this field - but lacks awareness, knowledge or care ! Also she didn't want to deal with me and had the audacity to ask me "why did you come back " I was so offended and just couldn't believe what I was hearing , clearly she didn't want to help or take any accountability as she asked me to find someone else ethnic who could help me . This is what I wish was her response when I asked her questions about the peel I would have searched for a person with more experience. Horrible place ! I would say to anyone reading this find someone who has a strong reputable background in this field and 10 + experience because these dermatologist don't try to educate or have precautions. I can't believe this even happened as it has affected my personal and work life . I even tried to get a sign off to continue working from home as there is no way for me to look decent in a professional workplace with the amount of pigment and issues going on , yet she told me no and did not even ask questions about it or how else she can help me in the situation I'm in . I want to speak up on this because it can happen again - and what's funny is she told me it happened to someone before so why recommend it !? I don't understand . I'm sure due to this review they will change thier mannerisms and people working there as I noticed they have hired more people of colour . Don't be fooled & stay away from this place - there are professional people out there that will treat you with patience , respect , and pay much more attention to your skin as they dedicate their efforts to help you as they have the best interest for their clients . read more

I met with the PA Vicky and she was very professional and took her time... unfortunately this seemed to upset a woman in the office and she didn't hesitate to tell me. After my consultation with Vicki, I was in in the room still getting dressed after a mole check, and a woman came in and aggressively started to change the room and said the room needed to be cleared. Mind you, I was still not dressed, and I was still waiting to receive another treatment that had not been conducted. When I explained this, she huffed and said that they needed the room, and she could not "deal" with me right now and stormed out. I was shocked... I was abruptly made to feel like an inconvenience, after only being in the room for 30mins. It was obvious that this woman was upset about something else, couldn't conduct herself in a professional manner, and took it out on me. She was clearly unaware that I was still waiting in there to receive a treatment, as when the PA Vicki returned, she had to re-dress the table to administer the treatment that had not even been completed yet. Again, Vicki was great (she should prob find another office to work) but don't go here unless you want to be treated like SHIT. read more
