My color is always spot on, and she knows I'm picky about how my hair lays. I like a lived-in look that requires minimal styling, and she gets exactly what I mean. I also love that her approach gives me the ability to do a high-maintenance service while keeping it low maintenance between visits. My hair grows out well and still looks good until I can get back into her chair. The salon is conveniently located without having to sit in traffic to get to Murrieta or Temecula, which is a huge plus. I'm glad I finally found someone who gets what I need since relocating from OC. Highly recommend!

I've been getting my hair done here for some time, and the ladies are lovely, truly. But I must…read moresay, something has me feeling a bit unsettled lately. There's this man who has been at the shop the last two times I visited. I can't quite put my finger on it, but he has a strange way about him. He keeps disappearing into that one room, and as far as I know, they don't do any services in that room. Honestly, it makes me feel quite nervous, and I heard some of the other woman whispering that they think he lives there. I've never seen him sitting in a chair getting any work done on himself. It's a space with so many children and women around. If he is indeed staying there, it simply is not right. My nerves are quite frayed over it, to tell you the truth. And once, I went into the washroom after he had been in there, and the state of it! It looked like he had a "bird bath" in it. It made me feel so uncomfortable. He truly puts me in a tizzy!

I came across Denise's Instagram (denises_shears) and messaged her to see if she had an opening. I was able to book a month out. She keeps busy so if you're looking to get that vacation hair or just hair for a special event definitely recommend booking a few weeks out. Her studio was easy to locate as its the first studio you see when you look to the left. Her studio is the corner to the right. Her place is family oriented (she had a little sitting area and also does mens haircuts) and is cute since she not only offers hair products but cute enamel pins to purchase as well. When I first walked in, we talked about my goals for my hair and how I like to wear it. She listened to me and understood what I wanted. She got to work, she is fast and very efficient. Something I've never personally seen in a hairdresser. Usually with my hair it takes anywhere from 6 hours to foil, tone, wash and style, yet she did it in as little as four and a half hours. I love that I can plan my day around my hair. Before I had to spend my whole day getting my hair done, but now I only need to book myself out for half the day. I've been going to her ever since, and I always leave feeling cared for. I love that I always walk out with what I want, it makes me feel confident. Personable person, understands the assignment, quick and efficient, and fair prices.
