This review is for Brooke Congalves:…read more I'm new to the area and had been searching for a new hairstylist, which can honestly be nerve-racking when you've been searching from someone you can trust with your hair for years. I don't have access to social media, so I ended up finding Brooke through Yelp and I am SO happy I did! I reached out to her by text and she responded almost immediately. Before my appointment, I sent her a photo of my current hair along with a few inspiration pictures of what I was hoping to achieve. Right from the beginning, communication was easy and I felt like she understood what I was looking for. The salon itself is adorable clean, welcoming, and has a really cute modern feel. When I met Brooke, she took the time to actually look at my hair and talk with me about my goals. One of the most important things to me is keeping my hair healthy because I'm trying to grow it long which has taken some time. She was very upfront that getting exactly where I ultimately want to be would be a process, and I REALLY appreciated that instead of trying to do too much in one appointment. She respected the integrity and health of my hair while still getting me incredibly close to my inspiration photos. Brooke was also just genuinely nice and easy to talk to. The entire appointment was comfortable, relax and I was in and out in about three hours, which was another huge plus. She's also only about a 15-minute drive from my house, so finding someone this close who I actually trust with my hair feels like hitting the jackpot! Her pricing was very affordable, but to be completely honest, the quality of her work was beyond! If you're looking for someone who listens to what you want, is realistic about the process, cares about maintaining the health and integrity of your hair, and can actually deliver what you show her in an inspiration photo, go see Brooke. So happy I found MY new stylist. 10/10. Absolutely recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Charlene and Launa!…read more I was attending a wedding at a Temecula winery and wanted to be done up for the occasion. Charlene handled my hair and Launa did my makeup, and together they nailed it. Charlene guided me on adding curl but not too much volume. I was very happy with the result. Launa's makeup was equally awesome. She made me feel put together without my makeup being heavy or overdone. It held up beautifully through a long evening and I received a lot of compliments. Both ladies were professional, warm, attentive, and invested in making sure I loved the final result. They listened to what I wanted and delivered just that. I left feeling confident, beautiful, and ready for a gorgeous wedding. I would absolutely book Charlene and Launa again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for hair and makeup artists who are talented, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Thank you both for helping make the weekend so special!

I don't write Yelp reviews often, but this experience absolutely deserved one…read more As a postpartum mom, my hair has truly been through the wringer. Between postpartum shedding and not stepping foot in a salon for years, I was honestly nervous about trusting someone with my hair. I spent a lot of time reading reviews before booking with Expert Hair Care by Ayeshia in Temecula, and I'm so glad I decided to experience it for myself. From the moment I arrived, Ayeshia greeted me before I even walked through the door, and I immediately felt welcomed. That level of hospitality continued throughout my entire appointment. She made sure I was comfortable, had snacks available, checked in on me throughout the service, and created such a relaxing environment. It never felt rushed, and I truly felt like she cared about me, not just my appointment. I have 3C hair, and she gave me a thorough wash, protein treatment, steam treatment, trim, and style. What stood out most was how much she prioritizes healthy hair. She carefully assessed both my hair and scalp, explained exactly what they needed, answered my questions, and gave thoughtful, personalized recommendations. I never felt like she was being pushy or trying to sell me services. Instead, I felt like I was receiving honest advice from someone who genuinely wants her clients' hair to thrive. I've also seen Ayeshia's work on other women, especially her K-tip extension installations, and they are absolutely beautiful. The blends are so seamless that you genuinely cannot tell where their natural hair ends and the extensions begin. The transformations are flawless, and seeing that level of work only confirmed that I was in the right chair. Like a lot of people, I read the reviews before booking. I even read the lower-rated ones. After experiencing Ayeshia's service for myself, I'd simply encourage people to form their own opinion because my experience was exceptional from beginning to end. Every situation is different, but I can honestly say she exceeded my expectations. Leaving the salon with healthy, refreshed hair made me feel like myself again. As a postpartum mom, that meant more than I can express. Sometimes it's about so much more than just getting your hair done. It's about walking out feeling confident, refreshed, and cared for. If you're looking for someone who is professional, knowledgeable, genuinely invested in healthy hair, experienced with textured hair, and provides outstanding customer service, I wholeheartedly recommend Expert Hair Care by Ayeshia. I've absolutely found my hairstylist, and I'm already looking forward to my next appointment. Thank you, Ayeshia, for taking such incredible care of my hair and making me feel so welcomed. It was exactly the experience I needed.

I'm constantly getting compliments--whether my hair is silk pressed or I'm wearing it in its natural curly state. She really takes the time to understand what my hair needs. From keeping up with my protein and moisture treatments to helping maintain my color, she has been intentional about keeping my hair healthy while still allowing me to enjoy different styles. I've been dealing with thinning hair from stress and early pre-menopause, and it's really taken a toll on my hair and confidence. I was curious but also a little nervous going in... and then I felt nothing. Zero pain. It literally felt like a gentle scalp massage with light vibration--so relaxing that it felt more like self-care than a treatment. The process was fast, easy, and I went right on with my day like nothing happened. No downtime at all. This is new hair technology, completely non-invasive, and such an easy yes compared to anything surgical or scary. Rosey recommends a series of 3 treatments, with an annual maintenance treatment for optimal results, which feels totally doable--especially since it's painless. I loved it so much that my husband had the treatment done too. I'm really excited to see my results and can't wait to come back and update this review once my hair starts growing in. If this works the way the research says it does, I honestly don't know why anyone would ever choose hair transplants again. Rosey is incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely cares, and is always ahead of the game. Highly recommend.

My trial went flawlessly, and Leah made me feel so unbelievably comfortable right from the start (she is also a perfectionist - which is something you will appreciate on your wedding day). I can honestly say that her and her co-worker, Brittany, were one of the biggest reasons my wedding day was as special as it was. Not only did they make us LOOK beautiful, but they made us FEEL beautiful. My advice for brides-to-be is DO NOT SKIMP ON THIS SERVICE! Leah and her team are more than worth the cost (also, splurge and get the airbrush, it's amazing). Even before the day of, Leah was such a huge support and I don't know how many times she talked me off the ledge or out of my stress (which wasn't even her responsibility) about the wedding. She gave me a list of "nice to haves" which came in SO MUCH handy the day of. Leah and Brittany listened to our every want and need, and completely brought each of our hair and makeup visions to life on my wedding day. I changed and added things (like a true bridezilla) up until the very last minute and Leah accommodated me, no questions asked. Not to mention they stayed for extra time to make sure we were all touched up for photos. If I could recommend her 1,000x a day, I would. An absolute 10/10 experience, from start to finish. I had been turned away before, and I had also gone to stylists who took me on but clearly did not really know how to handle color correction. So I was nervous to trust someone again. Kelsey was completely different from the beginning. Even before my appointment, she asked for photos, looked at my inspo, explained what would be realistic, gave me a clear estimate, and actually walked me through the plan. She was honest but never made me feel discouraged or like my hair was too much work. During the appointment, she knew exactly what she was doing. She did a color remover, high-lift color, toner, and haircut with no bleach, and got me so close to what I wanted, honestly even better. She also fixed my layers, and I didn't realize how much they needed help until she did them. Her mom was there too and was so sweet. The whole appointment had such good energy, and they made me feel really comfortable. I was hoping for a positive experience at Salon MK with Giselle Q, but I left very disappointed…read more The photos clearly speak for themselves but here's what happened-- When I first reached out to Salon MK in June, I was connected with Giselle and specifically requested a light brown, neutral balayage. We booked a balayage ($280) and a haircut ($85). I sent photos of my hair and several reference photos. During the appointment, she explained that balayage is essentially highlights, which made me a bit nervous, as I understand it to be more of a blended, ombré-style look. Still, I trusted her professional judgment. Unfortunately, the final result looked nothing like my reference photos..... The highlights leaned much more yellow and brown rather than the neutral tones I had requested, and they were also uneven, with some highlight sections noticeably thicker than others. The haircut itself was uneven, and the top layers were longer than the bottom section. She offered to fix it, which I appreciated, but by that point I already felt uneasy. I decided to give her a second chance since she was willing to fix the uneven haircut, so I went back in October for an all-over color before an important work event. I was very clear and specific about what I wanted and provided several reference photos beforehand- a dark, natural brown with subtle purple/reddish undertones. I explicitly asked to avoid black, copper, blonde, vivid red or purple tones, and NO highlights. We discussed this thoroughly, and I even said that if there was any hesitation, I'd prefer to play it safe with a darker brown balayage instead. Giselle reassured me she could achieve the color....... Unfortunately, the result was again nothing close to what I requested. My hair turned out coppery brown/red and still showed highlights, which I had specifically asked to avoid. I felt embarrassed going to my event with it. When I reached out the next day with photos, I was told that the custom conditioner I purchased should temporarily fix the issue. This was frustrating, as a conditioner with very minimal pigmentation shouldn't be relied on to correct a $165 color service, especially after I left a 20+% tip out of kindness. Overall, the results did not align at all with what we discussed or the reference photos I provided. My concerns weren't resolved, and I ultimately had to attempt to fix my hair myself before the event. Everyone's experience is different, but I wanted to share mine so others can make the decision that feels right for them and choose a stylist they feel 1000% confident with.
