The food: I ordered the 2 slice 1 topping special with a drink. The slices are huge but a little floppy. The flavor is great. 4/5 stars The service: A friendly face took my order and the pizza was ready in about five minutes. You need to pick up the pizza from the counter. 4/5 stars The ambience: The store is located in a generic strip mall. The inside consists of about 15 tables. There is one tv ( it was turned off) hanging from the wall. The walls are adorned with 4 large mirrors and a giant picture of pizza slices. Pretty boring. I have been to other location off S Miami and didn't think much of trying their spot in Morrisville. That was a terrible idea as i'm never going to eat at any of these spots again. I ordered slice of veggie and i've never in my life seen a pizza shop heat up a slice of cheese then throw a bunch of uncooked mushroom, green peppers, olives on top and call it a day. Totally gross, lazy, and stupid. If i wanted some cold ass toppings i could have walked back to harris teeter. Anyhow - i was in a pinch and figured i'd give a try but never will Randy's ever take a cent from me again. It's confusing how place like that can stay in business but they must be propped up by one of their other locations. My first time having Randy's Pizza. We ordered inside, the staff was friendly and helpful in understanding how Randy's pizza is a little different from other pizza restaurants. Big, thin, foldable pizza. The pizza pricing is a little higher than others, we spent $21 on this one topping pizza. It took about 15 mins for the pizza to be ordered, cooked, and boxed. The restaurant was clean and nothing seemed out of order. However, I would have to say I was impressed nor were the others in my party. We appreciated how fresh it was and hot. However, it seemed to lack flavor or anything. Somewhat a greasy mess - and that's okay for most - just not for us. Last night, my wife asked if I would finally be able to make time to mount, wire and hang our living room TV since it's been lying on the floor of our new home since moving in on Sunday. Knowing that organizing multiple wires, drilling, measuring and hooking up this TV would take me some time, we settled on ordering pizza delivery with a new, local pizza place to us. After my Mrs. asked around at work, many mentioned that Randy's has some of the best in the area. So, Randy's is what we ordered. FOOD: 12" Supreme Specialty Pizza and 14" Cheese Pizza ($38.28 after tax). Both pizzas were very good but I gravitated toward the supreme over the cheese. The veggies, pepperoni and ground up sausage were great. The sauce isn't too tangy and is actually very pleasant. The dough is very good dough but was very limp and had very little structure to it, once held in hand. A couple of the slices had some slight char to them but I was hoping for a firmer crust with a little bit of crunch to it. Honestly, I believe if these pies were left in the oven for just another 2 and half minutes, they could have been fantastic. Each bite, the dough was soft and chewy in consistency so I'm wondering if I could ask Randy's to leave it in a little longer next time? It might make a big difference for my next review. SCORE: 3.9 STARS!! SERVICE: Ordered Grubhub directly through Yelp and the delivery driver was pleasant, although this is not a direct reflection of Randy's' immediate staff. No way to gauge service for this visit, aside from the order was hot and delivered on time. SCORE: N/A OVERALL SCORE: Pretty good local pizza. I used a coupon I got in the mail for a pizza, salad and drink. The coupon said it was voted best pizza....I STRONGLY disagree. I was not impressed with the place, the service or the food. It was all just average at best. I will not return, even with another coupon. read more

Been getting delivery from Randy's for quite some time-always delicious. Today I picked up a large catering order for some deserving teachers and the order was perfect. Double cut just like I asked, perfect toppings, everything packed just right. I really appreciate how much care was taken with my order, and as always, it looked delicious. LOVE THE PIZZA... the person answering the phone isn't the best but hang in there the end result is worth it... be careful with the olives because they put a ton on there tell them light olives as well, if you're sensitive to salt. ¡Oh get extra sauce on the side! This place is usually great and we order often. Super Bowl Sunday's order was disappointing to say the least. We order 20 wings and they were the smallest I've ever seen. I know is tough times but this isn't fair to your regular patrons. Please consider charging less or removing from menu if there is a problem getting quality wings. I certainly will be hesitant to order again. We normally feed 4 with 20 wings and our pizza but that's not happening today everyone will still be hungry, good thing there's brats in the fridge I guess I'll fire up the grill. This place used to be my top spot for good NY Italian and pizza. No longer, poor service, incorrect orders and diminished food quality. Today my son insisted on trying it again and it has not improved. In addition to now so-so food quality, today we were given expired salad dressing! Pretty sad, think I'm done with this place. Ordered an 18 inch cheese pizza, 14 inch pizza with toppings, and small salad. Salad was very old looking, and the 18 inch cheese pizza was hard as a rock...overcooked and/or old. We couldn't feed it to our kids. 14 inch pizza was edible, but not great. Have had pizza from here before as recently as Saturday had a birthday party and it was great. Not sure what happened here. Tried calling the location when it was first delivered and was put on a perpetual hold. I finally gave up. read more

Place is horrible. I purchased a sub with toppings , got home with it and it had nothing on it. I thought it was my fault but I looked at my receipt and I did order toppings. I also ordered pizza and pieces of it were hard. I highly recommend you skip over this place. It's not worth your time or money. We were served a soggy pizza. Here is the story. I walked in ordered a mushroom and sausage pizza to go. I went to the Harris Teeter to get milk and goodies for the family and returned a half-hour later (I was told it would be 20-25 minutes). The guy at the counter was chatting up a recent transplant from other part of the country that recently moved to our little slice of heaven in RTP. When he finally could be bothered to ask me what I needed, I reminded him that he took my order and that it should be done now. It wasn't. As far as I could figure it looks like the oven was having trouble because when they finally took my pizza out of the oven it looked soggy (frozen cheese maybe?) I commented to the guy behind the counter and he assured me that mushroom pizzas did this and there was nothing unusual about it. Whatever. I just needed to get a pizza back to my family before they started eating each other. The guy assured me that the sogginess would evaporate by the time I got home. To make a long story short when I finally got the pizza home and opened the box there was a puddle of water in the middle of the pizza and the dough was moist, not crispy. My wife closed the box, without saying a word, and took it back for a refund, something I have never seen her do. We have had marginally good pizza at Randy's in the past...but overall we have a negative association with the location and do not plan on returning. read more

This place has gone downhill. Granted, the pizza is still good (hence 2 stars) but the service is terrible. Rude workers acting like they are bending backwards to take your order and make your pizza. That said, I could usually put up the crappy service. When I deal with someone rude, I treat them the same way. When I get the attitude, I give it back. Just don't do that at places where they make your food in the back. Here I watch the guy making my pizza like a prison guard and I make make sure he notices it. I let out weird noises often so he looks my way and sees my watching him. It works quite well. Anyways, those days are over. After today I am not going there. Even though this place is just around the corner, I will drive 10 minutes to the one on Miami. What did it for me that the last 4 times I went there (today being the last time), they don't have pizza already made. I get the sorry, we just sold the last 2 slices. First time, I thought the dude was joking but he was not. He said it will be 10-15 minutes and I decided to wait but I still did not have my pizza 25 minutes later. The next 3 times, same story. Sorry we just sold the last 2 slices (it's never just 1). and this is early in the afternoon (3ish), not early morning or late at night right before they close. Now Randy's is known around here for their slices of pizza where you go to get a quick slice of pizza but this place has managed to ruin that. I am not wasting my time any more and will just drive past it to the other one. And I won't get the attitude. It's too sad to see them ruin their good business like this. read more

I ordered a veggie pizza. There are a lot of indian origin people in Triangle and their worker knows this. He joked that pepperoni pizza with vegetables is ready for me. Upon my reaction, he started laughing. Most people regardless of their origin or religion don't like to hear jokes about their food or the jokes about what they didn't want or ordered. We've been going here for pizza for years, ever since a friend recommended it as close to New York style pizza. While we do order a whole pizza from time to time or a slice to go, the best experience is ordering a slice at the restaurant and eating it there. This is my new favorite local Pizzeria. The Neapolitan Pizza; The crust is light with just enough tug on it when you bite. The sauce has an excellent fresh tomato flavor very similar to John's Pizza (the King of Sauce) on Bleecker street in NYC. I had a White pie with Garlic last week and it was fantastic. Large New York Style crispy thin crust pizza is cooked well and toppings are fresh for a slice of pie for lunch with a salad and beverage for only $6.99 The salad is generous in a big black bowl with a thick topping of shredded cheese.
