Our salesman was very professional. I discussed our family mask standard and he stated that it is their policy for all employees to wear masks. 5 star flooring from Randy's we have beautiful vinyl planks laid in the office in august. However we choose to use a contractor and not Randy's for flooring. The contractor that does work at Randy's left glue all over our floor and claims after 3 visits to re check it that it's not his fault. The one thing he could have done was to come and professionally clean it for us. So our flooring has never looked new because dirt clung on the glue. Word to the wise use pay extra and have Randy's lay it not their contractors. read more

Randy's went above and beyond to make sure that our floor and carpets were as perfect as can be. We had several obstacles when it came to our baseboards, built ins and height difference. Randy's immediately called in a team of experts to come up with a new plan to make changes. I was so impressed with the professionalism, aim to please attitude and outcome of our floor. We contacted about 4 different flooring places in the area and only two responded with Randy's being one of them. We decided to go with Randy's because not only did they respond to us right away (I don't understand why so many places don't respond. I guess they don't need the business!) but they quickly scheduled a day to come out and measure our house to give us a free estimate and our salesman, Cort Jordan, gave us amazing customer service and was always helpful and never pushy. The other flooring place that responded was slightly cheaper (they gave us an estimate over the phone), but we believe that good customer service from the beginning is truly important and a very telling sign of how happy we would be with the installation and we were right! When our flooring guys came, everything went very smooth, they did a great job (Ken and Josh, the contractors they hired, were excellent) and there were no unexpected costs in the end. We plan on using Randy's for future flooring needs and recommend them to everybody! read more

I was fairly pleased with the process. However the salesperson didn't return my call when I was ready to have carpet installed. I had to go into store to get a time set up but I would have had to do that anyway to pay half down. I guess she just got very busy. Otherwise things were great! read more

My wife and I are remodeling our guest bathroom so we needed to look at tile flooring. My wife and I work opposite shifts so she went to Randy's to look at flooring by herself. When she walked into the business she was greeted by sales rep who asked her what she was looking for. My wife informed her that she needed to look at tile flooring and price out installation costs. The sales rep proceeded to ask my wife if she was sure she could even afford tile flooring. The rep continued to insinuate that the tile was out of our price range and that it wasn't worth her time to help my wife. Needless to say my wife left the store immediately and we took our business elsewhere. read more

they handled my quick turn around needs. job took longer than expected, however the installers communicated that. the missing star? the installers didn't tell me when they were done nor a follow up call from Randys. The water line to the fridge wasn't put back on (paid for the plumber service), and the stove wasn't plugged back in. read more

Where do I start.....Well, first and foremost, I will NOT be giving these people my business again! After we had water in our basement, we were referred to Randy's by the Water Mitigation company. Things went smooth to start with, the sales rep came out, took measurements and then we went to the store to pick out the carpet and vinyl flooring. They had to order the carpet and just like the sales rep said, it was there in a week. Now comes the good part! We set up an appointment for our carpet and vinyl to get installed. We had to wait until the following week. They said it would take 2 days to install. When they came to install, I mean, when the 1 guy came to install the carpet and vinyl around 9a.m...he then left at 2:15p.m. (Well, they did say it would take 2 days right!) So the guy shows up the next morning and is done around noon. (I know, I know, you are probably thinking the same thing.....if the guy would just have stayed there all day the day before, he would have been done!) Anyway, he told us that we need to wait a week for any bubbles to get out of the vinyl so that the glue can stick properly. (The B.S. meter in my head went off pretty quickly). O.k. a week goes by (2 weeks total) and we still have bubbles AND part of the vinyl is now curling up along the edge of the walls. So I call the sales rep which in turn has the installer call me and we have to actually schedule an appointment with this guy to have him check out these issues! Well, he comes out on a Sunday afternoon (which was only acceptable, because otherwise we would have had to wait until that Tuesday). He then informs me, (I mean, blew smoke up you know where), that the vinyl needs more time to stick to the glue and the bubbles would be gone (or magically disappear). (The B.S. meter is now ringing so hard I have a headache) He also told me to buy some Quarter Round to stick under the mop boards to hold the vinyl edges down. (Wait a minute, now I have to go out and buy something to complete this guy's job!!! ) Well, I had heard enough and shuffled the guy out of my house and out of my life. On Tuesday I called the sales rep and let him know we were not pleased with the outcome of the job and it needed to be resolved. Once again we had to schedule yet another appointment (nothing like feeling you are a priority!). Luckily a guy was gracious enough (note the sarcasm) to come out the next day and he looked at our vinyl and agreed that it was......wait for it......NOT DONE CORRECTLY! He said they would get someone to get the bubbles out.....but then still wanted me to buy the "quarter round" to fix the edges. What is it with these people and not finishing a job! I waited all Tuesday and no phone call from the sales rep to schedule someone to fix the crap job. So finally I get a call on Wednesday morning and they want to schedule for next Tuesday! Now I am furious! These people jacked up this job and are going to make me wait another 6 days to fix it! Well, they "found" a guy that could come out on Friday. (Nothing like feeling you are a priority again!) Finally Friday rolls around and the guy they sent fixed the bubbles and glued down the edges of the vinyl (by the way, that took all of maybe 20-30 minutes) and he also fixed some of the carpet the other guy jacked up along the edges. Why couldn't this guy been the one to install our carpet and vinyl! So all in all from the beginning to end it has taken over 3 weeks (almost 4)! What do I have to show for it? 1. A vinyl floor that evidently my 4 year old could have done a better job gluing with some Elmer's stick glue and probably would have livened things up with some glitter. 2. Carpet that is mismatched on an entire seam and not tacked down correctly on (wait for it) the edges (reoccurring theme?). This one I just should have given hammers to my 1 and 3 year olds and let them go to town. Final verdict: Obviously Randy's is not in the repeat customer or customer referral business. I did not receive any calls to see I was satisfied with the job, not even after they messed it up! No concern for the customer what-so-ever! The sales rep and the guy that fixed the botched job seemed to care. The guy that came to "look" at the vinyl floor was polite, but you could tell he didn't want to be there. The original guy, well, I will reserve my less than tasteful words and just say he should probably quit the business, because he has very little passion for the quality of his work. This should not have taken as long as it did and a manger should have been involved. It would have been nice for a break on the final bill for my trouble and the crap job, but just like I thought, money is the bottom line for this company not their reputation or integrity. Oh yeah, I am also out an additional $60 for the Quarter Round I still had to buy! read more
