The combination of the pork belly, peach ginger jam and the tang of the brussels sprout slaw was like a happy dance on the tongue. My husband had the Andy Reid with a side of shaved and fried brussels sprouts. Loved them both. I had the fried cod sandwich. The cod was lightly beer battered and it all came together with the lettuce, tomato, diced pickle and the star the homemade remoulade sauce. CJ told us the sauces are homemade and you can tell they're that good. We finished our meal with the smoked fruit cobbler with apples and peaches. I never thought of the combination of apples and peaches together, but it works. We will be back on our next visit to Joplin.

It's located at the northern edge of downtown Joplin on main street. It's a small quaint place with both on and off-street parking. The space and seating is limited for sure. There are tables as well as some bar-style seating along the edges of the restaurant. The environment was busy, fun and lively. Our granddaughter loved all the action. The person who escorted us in then actually took the extra time to explain their menu and options, which are posted on boards above the checkout counter. The menu is limited and made up of a combo of traditional lunch/brunch items. But they are all done with a unique and delicious flair. Sort of a twist on the traditional bunch options. All of us enjoyed our meals. We had breakfast street tacos, a salmon cake eggs Benedict special, French toast, the fruit plate and a pancake. All of the portions were good sized, ingredients fresh and tasted great. They even went the extra step to bring our granddaughter some fried cheese to munch on. Very kind.
