Randy's did the work I needed at a low cost. I would recommend Randy's for your repair needs.

Planning on buying something don't come here. Walked in no "welcome in", walked around no help! I thought hmm maybe if I see some stuff closer to the register that didn't work, maybe they don't talk there I never ever give reviews but this place really did it for me read more

I had an awesome and seamless sales transaction yesterday puchasing and picking up my new Royal Enfield Classic 350. Eric in sales was low key, helpful and prompt in our communications and in price matching with another seller in the city. My requested modification was done before I came to pick up the bike, and the shifter adjustment, overseen by Randy, was made while I completed the paperwork. Heather in the finance department found an extra rebate for me and had me in and out in less than 15 minutes. I cannot recommend this shop more highly. Thanks!! read more

Active Customer support from knowledgeable, involved Staff. Spending their time on Customers' behalf. Discovering Customers' needs. And how those 'needs' are best met. In contrast to 'pushing sales.' Anyone interested in the Powersports represented at Randy's Cycle, would find it natural to return. While there, I've spoken with the Inquisitive. And, the Veteran. All, acknowledge an atmosphere of appreciation. That's making it 'their Shop'. Being maintained for them by the Right people. My wife and I enjoy the motorcycles we bought there. As well, the Accessories and Service. read more

I was scammed on a used 2017 Indian motorcycle that I paid way too much for and turned out I was lied to about it being safe and a few key other details. Randy was given the opportunity to make it right and told me that his policy was to release any motorcycles that had "tread". Regardless of how unsafe the cupping of the tires were. Do not trust what they say on the condition and equipment condition of the used bikes. I got screwed and now have too pay thousands to get my bike road worthy read more

Randy's Cycle - Motorcycle Dealers Near Me - Marengo, Illinois

Randy's Cycle. I don't even bother going to other bike shops that are closer when I need work done. I've been doing business with Randy and his great crew for over 10 years. NOT ONCE did I ever feel ripped off or belittled in any way. They have ALWAYS treated every customer I've seen walk in with respect, professionalism and friendliness. I've purchased 2 (Victory) bikes from him and whenever they've needed work, it was done at a fair price and right the first time - every time! I live close to the lake in Chicago and I don't even mind the ride out. Beats the stop and go of city traffic. If your bike can't be ridden to his shop, they'll pick it up! Always excellent service by excellent, friendly professionals. read more

I've bought many bikes from Randy. He and the staff have always been honest and given great prices. Highly recommend

they have been very good at servicing my u force 600 as i come a long way to get there. eric and the staff know there stuff. I like a small town shop as compared to some large ones in a big city who just want to pump out there product and after that you are on your own. read more

This place is GREAT, they let be test drive as many bikes and I wanted.... I ended up getting a Royal Enfield INT650 and it is an amazing bike. They are family owned and good people... I will be back to buy another bike!!!! read more

Just purchased my second machine from Randy's and this one was just as quick and easy as the first. Eric, Randy, and the rest of the staff are all very knowledgeable and easy to work with and more than willing to help with any at all questions you have all in all I would absolutely recommend anyone buy from Randy. He really cares about his business and his customers. read more

Randy's is the place to go, they're super friendly and great people to deal with. Look for Erick he's very knowledgeable on all the bikes in stock. I would deff recommend going here for parts service and buying a new bike read more

Where do I start with the positive things to say about Randy's Cycle? I suppose the easiest thing to do would be to do this as categorically as I can. Location: 3 out of 5 Yeah, this is a little bit subjective, but if you're from the city of Chicago, it's a little bit of pain. I live in the loop, and it took me a good hour and change to get there. I think the odometer read right at 60 miles from door to door. If you're from the western burbs, no problem. And honestly, the area of Huntley isn't too bad. You can pick your own tomatoes and corn at a very cheap rate. Facilities: 3 out of 5 (there's an explanation for this) So IDOT bought out this stretch of IL 47 so they could expand the road. And it's warranted, because if you google maps the area, it's actually fairly crowded. The building that houses Randy's Cycle isn't the greatest, or the newest, nor does it have all the modern bells and whistles that you may have come to expect from places. Heck, I'm not sure if they even have air conditioning in there. There's a small break room in the back, and a demure restroom. The actual "showroom" isn't that big. I counted maybe 15 - 20 motorcycles inside on the main floor, and maybe another 30 - 40 outside. Is this small by some people's standards? Sure...but read the next section and you'll see why. The good news is that because of the IL 47 expansion, Randy's Cycle is moving, and hopefully by next month. New Bike Selection: 5 out of 5. I think that their website officially lists 60+ motorcycles in new customs and pre-owned. Maybe there are another 15 or 20 new vehicles floating around that aren't listed officially. Small? Sure, the numbers aren't there. But if there was ever an example of quality over quantity in selection as well as a truly diversified range of target end user demographics, Randy's Cycle is the epitome of this. Are you looking for somewhere that sells tons of Japanese motorcycles? SV's, GSX, CBR, Ninja's etc. etc.? NOT the place for you to go. There's dealerships like that out there. Randy's has a different niche. Are you looking for first time cruisers? Mmmm...getting closer, and it can be done, but still not in the right ballpark. Are you looking for a cheaper Korean brand (Hyosung/UM) because you can't afford anything else? They have those, remarkably enough. Are you looking for Vectrix electric scooters? Yep, they have those too. How bout Lehman Trikes? If you haven't seen them in conjunction with Victory, Honda, or Suzuki, they are a true sight to behold. But their raison d'etre, my friends - is their line of Victory motorcycles. They are absolutely beautiful in person, and I'm someone who just innately doesn't prefer cruisers or touring bikes. Used Bike Selection: 3 out of 5. Like I mentioned earlier, there's not going to be a whole lot of motorcycles to choose from. You have to understand that people who trade in bikes here to get new bikes are looking for something particular, and very narrow in scope. That means that the bikes they trade in are going to be narrower in scope too. Higher end cruisers (American and otherwise) seemed to make up the bulk of their used sales selection, but they also had a fair selection of standards and even a few sport bikes. Remarkably, a Buell 1125CR was there when I went this past weekend. Pricing: 5 out of 5. I ended up getting a 1986 Yamaha FZX 700 (Fazer), and KBB had it listed at 1675. With a Kerker 4 in 1, cosmetically beautiful, and mechanically almost flawless, Randy's had it for 1795. Not going to quibble over the 1 bill or so. Believe me, the bike's in beautiful shape and the only thing that's noticeably wrong is that the reserve/on fuel switch only works in reserve, but that's nothing to quibble over. My little Buell Blast was scuffed up because it was originally used in a MSF course. KBB for it was around 2000, and at first Rod(?) offered only 1000 for it because of its cosmetic woes. I told him honestly that I was expecting 1500, and within a few moments, that value was easily agreed upon. Customer service: 5 out of 5. Couldn't say enough good things about everyone who works at this dealership. From the phone conversations I've had before going in to actually going in and being greeted by everyone there to the sales manager I worked with (Rod?) to the young lady who did my paperwork (Heather?), everyone treated me with the utmost in courtesy and cordialness. Rod(?) was patient with all my questions, and he treated me as if I was buying their most expensive motorcycle. Even their mechanics, who I didn't have direct interaction with, were wonderful. One of them frankly and honestly advised against using preload to account for seat height and recommended lowering links instead. I think tons of others would do the work, make the money, and not even blink an eye. Overall: 5 out of 5. Randy's is a gem in the Chicago area motorcycle world. Best of luck to them in the future. read more

Randy's Cycle - One view of the building...taken from their website. - Motorcycle Dealers Near Me - Marengo, Illinois

Randy's motorcycle shop is a good place to place your orders. I ordered Kendon trailer, the process was simple.

These guys are really really good at what they do The service is excellent Randy is a great guy I highly recommend Randy's cycle Would use them any day over all the other dealers and repair shops They are fast too read more

RIP OFF ALERT!!! They could care friggin less about u after you purchase (regardless how much you spend). Their service department is a absolute unadulterated JOKE! So I get a couple "funny" votes, seriously, nothing funny about the place! When you spend thousands for a new bike and have noting but problems with no solutions, let me know if that's funny. NEVER EVER AGAIN! Lost 7K on a Victory Vortex that THEY couldn't wire a trailer plug on(I purchased new from them). I purchase new for one reason, and Randy knew it, to TRAVEL with when I retire. Can't travel when I can't pull my trailer. At one point they told me that I HAD TO PAY to change my bulbs on my trailer to LED lights. I told them to find a trailer with LED lights and prove that was the issue, that ended that suggestion. 23 MPG which they couldn't figure out nor did they care that I was getting shitty gas mileage. The best is when they charged me to sell it for owning 8 months. Victory Vortex, biggest POS I've ever owned. Polaris could have cared less (kept sending me back to Randy's who couldn't fix my bike in the first and second and third place) and Motor Trike (MPG ISSUE) was just as bad. read more

Wow, this place is the best. My 99 HD nighttrain received everything but get stroked.. Talk about performance and reliability, it's all there. I never need to worry about loose bolts, scratches or getting unnecessary equipment. Real honest, educated and passionate about bikes and customers. I take the trip from the city because it's worth it.Service knows what there doing and will suggest less expensive alternatives. I never thought I would look at something besides a HD, but those freakin Victories are insane. Saving for a faster more reliable bike is the goal. It will be a Victory! read more

Randy is a stand up guy that stands behind his product. I've bought several bikes off of Randy even before he was a Victory dealer. I can personally say I'd never buy from anyone else. The parts and service department have always taken great care of me as well. Rod in parts is a personable guy who always goes above and beyond. The other reviews on here that are negative just don't make sense to me. I bet those people bash everyone. This dealer is by far the best in the area and you won't find a better guy than Randy and his staff... Great job guys!!!! read more

Gotta give Randy's 5 stars. Reasonably priced, friendly, no hassle and no B.S. when buying a bike. Just a bunch of good guys selling some great bikes. Decent location near wild west town. Just out of town in the country off rt. 20. Provides for some good rides! My next bike will be from them! read more

Bikes are reasonably priced. Its out off the beaten path that's for sure.Wish they had one closer to the city.Very friendly staff. Mechanics can't seem to agree on some things.Have gotten some bad advice from them. Sales manager is ok but don't think you will get any great prices for a trade in. All dealers are like that to an extant. But the serious lowball on trades makes me think either that brand has very poor resale, or they will mark it up up 3-4K. as soon as you walk out the door. Maybe because they are the only 100% Victory dealer in a 70 mile radius they can get away with that. No competition. Or maybe its because I got my bike at another dealer before they closed down. I can see if its not a Victory product but that is what they sell. One would think they would be more able to re-sell them without taking someone for a couple grand. For a 2014 Vegas to add just the cams in, 7.5 hours labor? No other parts or labor! Vic Dealer in Monee said the same thing but they dropped the cost to 550 bucks from almost 800 bucks after I asked told them that any Indy mechanic will do it for a 1/3 of the cost. . They claim you have to drop the engine. BS. Tons of independent shops do it in 2 hours or so and charge 300-350 dollars for labor. Vic dealers claim it takes 7-9 hours labor! Indy shops can do it in 3 hours. Due to the remote location I normally just order parts online. The parts and service folks are nice but being a dealer with no competition its a bit out of control. The owner is a really nice guy but he doesn't negotiate trades and pricing, he gives it to the sales manager. And that guy won't budge a penny. Cost them a sale too. A 2 year old bike with 3.9K on it, cost 14 new and now its worth only 6.3K? Not confidence inspiring to buy a new one thats for sure. I took a little beating on my Harley trade estimate too but not that much. Plus it sold on Craigslist in less than a week for just a couple grand under what I paid. Used Victories don't seem to move fast. They should, they are really great bikes. They do have a decent selection of all kinds of bikes though. All makes on used models. And they allow test rides on EVERYTHING unlike the Japanese dealers. I would give them a higher rating but for location, service quotes and trade values. They should really consider the costs of some services like upgrades that anyone else can do and become more competitive. I bet they would have tons more work that way. read more

Great place to buy or service a bike. My only negative is the location. I wish it was back in Huntley.

Randy's cycle is ONE OF THE BEST shops to help a brother out. this place goes above and beyond support for you. I had a fractured rim, they put on a "spare" 21" I borrowed from a brother. THanks so much for making this happen! Semper Fidelis. TheBigUgly President LWMC read more

They understand they need to take the time to talk with you. Sure they get busy. When there are 10 people looking around they do their best to get over and talk. It isn't just the bike that sells, it is what these guy's tell you what you need to know to make an informed decision. I bought a 2012 Victory Cross Country Tour bike. Coming from my 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 800cc the CCT is even easier to handle! My Wife at first said that she would have to burn all of her Harley clothes (Acquired in a Previous Marriage). After just a few trips, she likes riding on the back of the CCT better than the Harley Road King. I love being able to pump up the air and provide a cushioned ride for her. After all, we will be 60 in a couple of years!!!! Thanks Randy. read more

I've been a customer of Randy's since he opened his original location in Huntley. He, and his staff, have always taken the time to answer any question no matter how trivial it is. He actually cares about his customers which is hard to find these days! My brother and Father just recently bought bikes from him and he is always fair with trades and prices. If your looking to do business with a local business person and not a Big box store, this is the place! the service department is also top notch and won't take advantage of you like the black and orange guys! read more

Loved my experience at Randy's! Never pressured, got good advice and a good price. The dealership is a bit out of the way, but worth the trip. They made it very easy to test ride a bike to help make my decision. If I can I'll definitely do business with them again! read more

Because of the attitudes of the Chicago area HD dealerships I decided to look at Victory. I purchased an 06 Jackpot and have been hooked ever since! I'm not knocking HD by any means. I still love the bikes and hope to get a Street Glide one day. However, when you walk into a dealership ready to drop $20,000 plus on a bike I would hope not to be treated like it's my honor to do so. My first experience at Randy's was what one would expect and hope for when spending that kind of money. Randy as well as every person he employs are very professional and friendly. You want to test drive a bike, no problem. You want to discuss price, no problem. You need work done on your bike in a hurry, they'll squeeze you in. Iv'e bought 3 Victory's from Randy's since my 06. Never once did I have even a mediocre experience. And as far as the bikes themselves, never an issue with any of them. They are rock solid. If your'e looking for an American made bike and don't want to pay a cover charge to walk into the dealership (just kidding) then Randy's Cycle is the place to go! read more
