It is an unsolicited liberal newspaper that's been thrown onto everyone's driveway in the area for years on end, free of charge. Nobody I know actually reads this paper. It goes directly into the trash, recycling, gets used as packing, and is used as a fire starter. Today, August 6th, 2026, this paper was thrown onto my driveway where my $200K vehicle was temporarily parked. The paint job alone on this car is about $15K. The delivery person threw the paper right at my car. This dirty paper hit my car! And, I've got it on film! From the looks of it, it could have been purposely thrown to hit my car...who really knows? This is something that should not have happened! So, Grunion Gazette, if this had caused damage to my paint or some other damage to my car, are you going to cover the cost of the damages and repairs? Your delivery people are rude and careless. I NEVER asked for this paper! It should not have been thrown onto my car or onto my property! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then it's a moderate walk through a tunnel that goes under the highway.

I compared prices with 2 other vendors and they gave me the best quote. I was requiring a $3,000 print job, so I guess this was not a priority for them for many reasons. I can't tell you how many broken promises I received from my sales representative. We set up appointments to meet, no phone call, no email to let me know he is running late - hours late. You would think the next time we set up appointment, he would honor it...Not at all. He told me he was running late on other appointments (that were more important than me - read between the lines) I let him know it was really jamming up my schedule when he doesn't keep his appointment, and I got more promises saying don't worry, they'll get the job done in time. I've requested paper samples, and it take such a long time to get back from them. When I review them, they are totally different, because he can't get what I chose. I've requested proofs, it takes weeks to get anything back. No return phone calls, except more emails saying they'll call me back tomorrow. Even though I call many, many times to request changes, either no response or more promises that someone will call me. You may be asking yourself why I put up with this much abuse? I thought the sales guy was a nice guy, and I thought we could be friends, so I told him his actions were very unprofessional, just to let him know my thoughts as his customer. In addition, their prices were the lowest as well, and I didn't want to start the whole process over with other vendors. Unfortunately, here I am with only a few days before my move, without any stationary. All I can say is, talk is cheap, and they sure dish a lot of it out! This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with any vendor.

She had heard of this gallery from years ago. Apparently they had moved to a new location. And then into a smaller space in this location than they had been in. Who knew?? It was close to 6pm and she heard someone talking to the (?) owners inside. They apparently weren't sympathetic that this guy didn't know exactly what their business was, as they were once an art gallery, but now full of antiques or something. And they made sure he knew they were ABOUT TO CLOSE! Well my friend and I certainly aren't going to visit them. And who chases out a potential customer at the beginning of a 1st Thursday where there is an ART WALK SPONSORED BY THE CHAMBER!!!!!????

There's also some plaza parking here and there but check appropriately. Food: There are a few brick and mortar bars and restaurants complimented with the ever so hip food trucks (about 10). Some art spots have light refreshments if you want to fill up on snacks. Vendors: Not much street vendors but more inside the stores either that or they were all concentrated on another street. Overall: 4.5 Stars. I digged this artwalk. I liked it's proximity of art, friendly and safe vibes. Capoeira cypher is great as usual, about 4-5 outdoor music dance performances, a real refreshing sight. I look forward to coming here during the summer. Advice: * Look into the red trolley to take you to the waterfront for free * Be sure to check the weather to dress appropriately * They start to wrap up around 8:30pm sooo come appropriately
