A nice, clean grocery store that isn't packed with everyone and their cousins like H-E-B and WalMart. The produce section is beautiful and well-stocked. Items were easy to find, and the deli and bakery had everything we could have wanted. The staff are helpful and courteous. read more

Randalls Round Rock TX not only has the highest prices from all the supermarkets in the area but also they assume that their customers are thieves and subject them to open, humiliating, uncalled and disrespectful chases throughout the store. Stay away from Randalls and shop in the other supermarkets where the customers are respected, and they give you the best prices. read more

the restrooms look like covid was created in there and smell like a portapotty. the cashiers always are rude and have an attitude. also there's a lot of expired items including in the dairy department, moldy cheese. i was going to buy an italian bread and came to find a fly in the bag. definitely will take my business to HEB! read more

Randall's bakery is horrible on Gattis School road in Round Rock. Who ever did the birthday cake I ordered did not even put the border at the edges of the cake. It was sloppy and I could not get them to fix it because we had dinner in 15 minutes. I do not recommend anyone to go to Randall's to get any form of cake done. I was so disappointed. Unless it's on sale it's overpriced. Deli is usually good but lately they've been "running out" of ingredients and subbing them out with other stuff and not telling you. I didn't buy a pot pie for it to have sliced deli meat inside. It tasted NOTHING like the normal recipe. It was super salty and I couldn't even finish it. So, I never thought I would shop at Randall's. I thought it was for older folks. I thought it was way more expensive. What I didn't count on was how awesome it is to shop in a super clean, super calm, super close, very little lines grocery stores. The little thrill of using a Randalls card and seeing immediate discounts. The yumminess of the Randalls Arrabiata safeway pasta sauce. For a person who has a little sensory overload in big HEB's, I have a strong feeling I will be visiting this Randalls' many more times in my day. Guess I was wrong about Randalls. It's my new local food hole and I LOVE IT. It's clean, it's soooooo pretty, and most importantly...it's not packed to the gills with screaming kids and grumpy people. I have almost found everything I need here, but I always find the second best thing! Fried chicken deal on Friday is a damn good deal, but I wouldn't suggest hopping in at 3pm and asking for the freshest of the bunch. It's not fresh, but it'll do if you're hungry enough. Their ready-to-go foods (soups, sandwiches, & fried chicken) are very good & worth a trip if you need something fast. I'm usually at Randall's to get one thing: their natural soda! It's half stevia, half sugar, & they have coke, orange, root beer, and strawberry kiwi. I swear I'm not hired by Randall's to sell these - I just really love them! An 80 calorie soda made of stevia & sugar? Not something you can find even in a health store at that price. Ok, there is lot of discussion on Randall's vs HEB on price, but you pay for the higher quality at Randall's. Here is what is better at Randall's: - Anything from the bakery (bagels, donuts, breads) - Their fried chicken - Any of their soups (their chicken noodle is amazing and I think their tomato basil is better than La Madeleine) Their packaged items tend to be the same cost or a little bit higher than HEB's. It isn't as crowded as HEB and I'd rather pay to save time than money. read more

Have picked 2 cakes for a office party( Tiramasu, cookies n cream) and they tasted wonderful. Randall's is a decent grocery store. I like the layout of this particular one probably the best of any grocery store in the Austin area. There don't seem to be the same hoards of idiots here as there are at any HEB I've ever been too, so it makes grocery shopping a little less of a pain-in-the-butt chore. Randall's prices used to be quite a bit higher overall than HEB, but I've noticed in the last few months that it isn't really the case so much anymore. They often run specials, weekend deals, or gas promotions, so I haven't felt cheated at all. And honestly, even when their prices were noticeably higher than HEB, the fact I could do all my shopping there in HALF the time and deal with HALF the number of idiots than at HEB made it totally worth it. I would, however, appreciate it if they would have more registers open. I've tried going there at different times of different days, and it never seems to fail--all the lines are at least 3 people deep. But the checkers are always friendly, as is their customer service. Randall's is also our go-to place for late night sugar cravings. They have a great selection of killer cake slices in their bakery section for a reasonable price. read more

Pros: convenient, clean, organized Cons: highest prices on most items compared to other grocery stores in the area, usually only 2 or 3 registers are open, terrible customer service when checking out. I have been to this location about a dozen times in the past 6 months or so and each time I leave I tell myself that I'm not going back. I have yet to have a cashier ring me up without looking like they are having the worst day of their lives. I have never received a "hello" or "thank you", just "do you have your card?" and then the price I owe. The cashier I had yesterday was slumped over the register and half asleep when I walked up. I would have much rather just gone through a self check out but they don't have them. If it weren't for the flooding yesterday, I would have gone somewhere else. read more

I like Randall's because it is always very clean, well stocked with fresh produce and employees available for help. The checkout lines are short and it's great if you just need to stop in for a couple things. They have great soups at their cafe. I especially like the Italian wedding soup. 4 stars because their prices are higher than most grocery stores, but they have a couple half off sections in the store where you can find frozen meals, spices, medicine and household items. read more

I love love Randalls. I hate busy places and after buying the HEB sour cream and taking a look at its ingredients -_-, I only shop at HEB for veggies and fruit. Randalls is always clean and not as crowded plus I have the Randalls app on my phone which gives me good discounts and coupons (and even freebies!). Their veggies and fruit don't have the lowest price but everything else does if you pair it with a sale. Plus their 'ready-to-eat' foods are amazing - the soups and boneless wings, yum!!!! read more

This place is not all bad, but their service leaves much to be desired. While I love their soups and jambalaya, their floral department is what got me to write this review. I've been wanting to do this for several weeks now...so here it goes...Mother's day, I walk into the store to get my mother in law a corsage. I look at the ones that are ready-made in the fridge and find them exceedingly expensive...$25 bucks and over. I walked to the lady behind the counter and ask whether they had less expensive options...she looks "down" at me, not because she's taller, but because she is rude, smirks and says that they don't do anything for less than that. An "I'm sorry but these are the only options we're offering" would be enough and respectful. I left the store outraged with her attitude and hopped over to HEB, which is where I should have started to begin with. read more

When choosing to pay a higher price than other options close by, I would expect the quality to be at least at par for regular items but their produce & deli sections fall quite short. Also, keep a keen eye on expiry dates for bread and other perishables. Breads expiring within a day of purchase should not be out for sale. The two stars are for the Starbucks inside. read more

Bakery has very poor service! On Wednesday June 22nd I called and placed a custom order cake, on Friday June 24th I called to confirm my order. On Saturday June 25th I went in to pick up my order and you guess it....no cake!!!! They couldn't find my order, the baker had already left for the day (at noon!) and there was nothing they could do to fix their mistake. I was so disappointed and although the manager came to apologize for the error there was nothing they could do. Just seems like a very poor way to run a business. read more

The Starbucks has a rude employee name Emily. She is very rude. She has no customer service skills what so ever. She think the world evolves around her and her life problems. She can't put her phone down and can't even make drinks!!! She messed up on every single one of my orders. She had to wait till another employee came in cause she said " I don't know how to make her drink" with attitude and eye rolling so unprofessional. Emily you really suck at your job and is making Starbucks look bad plus they are losing money cause of you. I went this morning and yes, items were still low/out of stock, but I think that is getting to be the norm these days. As soon as items are stocked on the shelves, they are immediately gone. Shoppers were polite and maintaining distance and order. I was in line at a register and dropped a glass bottle of turkey gravy. One of the cashiers (I should have gotten her name) came to clean up. I apologized profusely but she kept saying it was no problem and she had cleaned up many of these in her career. She asked me if I wanted her to go get me another gravy and I said not to worry about it, but she did anyway. She was very pleasant, professional and went above and beyond in the face of this pandemic. read more

I usually avoid Randall's for shopping, yet this one is very conveniently located near my office so I find myself in there now and again. But each time I usually get irritated and wonder why. They, to me, position themselves as a higher class store; however it just seems that everything is more expensive and their prices are complicated. They INSIST you have a discount card and prices are steep without one. All of this might be normal... BUT their customer service is why I'm writing a review. Today I purchased a 12 pack of soda and after paying, the cahier handed me my receipt. The soda was still sitting on the scanner directly in front of her and so I had to reach over the shelf and pay machine and down to the scanner to pick up the soda. I guess I could have asked her to hand it to me, but she seemed distracted and done with me. I was annoyed that I had to go that out of my way. That's pretty on par for what I experience at that Randall's. read more

There is a problem with meat handling procedures. Steaks spoil quickly and well before the expiration date. I wish that could be fixed.

The Randall's gas station is horrible. The pumps don't work half the time and the pumps were just replaced a month ago. They need to figure out their problem and fix it before they lose more customers. read more

I think Randall's is overpriced, but you can't beat the short lines and no big crowds like other major chain grocery stores.

Staff is always friendly, sometimes the lines are long, but they move fairly quickly. Use this place for a lot of small things like , bread and milk and such (sometimes for beer) so it's nice that's it's a clean and well stocked store. read more

Very irritated with the pharmacy staff - rude and short tempered and couldn't be bothered to call when a script had expired. Their reason? I was lucky they even had time to fax the doctor. I called nearly 9 hours earlier! Once I arrived they were argumentative and said they had 100 orders ahead of mine. Really? 100? I seriously doubt that. I transferred my script to Walgreens and had it 20 minutes later. read more
