Discovered their chocolate chip gluten free cookies at a local grocery store - and omg! So tasty. Really soft. Low sugar (6g) and 16g of protein! A classic must eat cookie in NYC is the black and white cookie. The cookie is more like a top of a cupcake that is moist and had just the right firmness topped with vanilla icing on one side and the other is chocolate icing. The icing is smooth and perfectly thick to ensure you have icing with each bite. My fresh favorite cookie is from William Greensburg but since there wasn't time to visit, I yelped Jewish deli and found Broad Nosh and Bagel. I looked down and there they were....the cookies! I would label this as a GOURMET chocolate chunk cookie. In my opinion, this is exactly what I appreciate in a cookie. The dough is soft and evenly baked. I dislike cookies that require milk because they are so dry. I also dislike cookies that are unevenly baked. As the name implies, the chocolate portion is generously distributed in large chunks. I also feel that the $2.50 price tag is fair for this cookie. I will be buying more of these cookies in the future. read more

I bought 2 pre-packaged peanut butter cookies in Uncle Giuseppe's in North Babylon, made by Randa Bakery in Ronkonkoma. I bought them because they reminded me of the cookies we used to get as kids in elementary school in the wax bags. They were HORRIBLE..! Well, only ate a piece of one...the rest of it and the other one went out for the squirrels and birds. 1) it was stale and had no date on it. 2) it had a chemical/fake taste to it. If I was blindfolded, I would never have guessed it was a peanut butter cookie. Yuck yuck yuck....never again! Worst bakery . Unprofessional and overpriced . They ruined my event . Will never use them

I was taking my granddaughter to the park and we stopped in a local market because she wanted a cookie to take with her. She chose a Marble Cookie by Randa Bakery. So I purchased one and a small bottle of water. When we got to the park I gave my granddaughter a quarter of the cookie. After eating that she said her mouth tastes funny and didn't want any more. So I took a taste...GROSS. The roof of my mouth had this gross taste and it was all over the inside of my mouth. We both took some water, but it took at least an hour or more for it to go away. Threw the other part out. Was it a chemical taste? The ingredients (which I should have read before I purchased it) included "shortening - palm oil". Who uses palm oil any more! It's terrible for humans to consume and the manufacturing to get palm oil is destroying the environment for animals and people. "artificial flavors was another ingredient....read chemicals or not real food. Just say NO. read more
