I had a great experience here. I didn't buy anything but several sales associates did help me with questions and inquiries. This place is overwhelming and they literally have damn near everything you can imagine. Tons of fun to wander around and check out the selections. They have a wide selection of clothing and cowboy boots which I appreciate but unfortunately not many options of boots in my size (M8, W10). It was also a bit pricey in my opinion. Overall, I still enjoyed it and I wish I had more time to spend looking at other products. I might come back if we have time before we head west. read more

First time in this store, and will never go back. Bought the last 3 pullet chicks on a friday night. Young woman working the chick area enlightened me on the crooked neck of one chick, explaining they straighten out. This one did not. I sat up for 7 nights with this baby hand feeding. She had to walk backwards dragging her head. I tried everything but she was suffering horribly, and was put down. Drove 11/2 hours into town this morning to inquire about a refund and was told only within 24 hours is a refund given, and that there are signs posted all over saying that. There are no signs, nothing online, nothing. They would not even listen to me. The first chick died within 12 hours. Second( deformed) 7 days. I spent $100 on 3 chicks, and supplies to make this a positive experience for my grandson. The survivor is lonesome, and now 2 weeks older the chicks I will be buying from another store. The last image I have walking out of this store was a very nasty, dirty look directed right at me. How dare these people treat customers like crap. read more

I'm from out of town and this used to be one of my favorite stores to wander thru. They used to have tons of truck accessories and parts, trailer parts etc. Now it seems you can't tell what's an isle for shopping on and what is a warehouse. Several times I thought I had wandered into an 'employees only' areas due to all the boxes. And most were empty! Buckets all over to catch the drips from the leaking ceiling, not one 'wet floor' sign mind you. Every display I saw was falling apart or missing items all together. Tripping hazards everywhere! This place was recommended to me so I figured I may as well check it out. I was kind of skeptical at fist, I couldn't think of anything I would possibly need at a rancher's store. I was surprised though how huge it was and they actually had some useful stuff. Its kind of like a hardware and clothing store but most everything is all really heavy duty. Ill probably go score a carhart here for when I have to work outside in NYC this winter. Some stuff was odd. Like you can buy a set of balls to hang off your truck. TruckNutz? Who comes up with this stuff? I am kind of angry some guy sits around and invents rubber testicles to hang off your truck and probably gets paid a lot more than I do. Also an entire isle dedicated to gas pump parts? Ok.. They had a decent selection of firearms and tons of ammo. Also items for fishing, camping, archery, hunting, etc etc. The grills there put mine to shame and I thought I bought a nice one. The stuff here just seem industrial super-size and if I had some land this place would probably rule. Still though, even a city guy like me can appreciate it, its kinda fun. read more

I'll never buy a gun here again. The guys at the gun counters have no idea what they are doing. Didn't recognize my CPL from Spokane County even. They sold a gun out from under me even though I had talked to them multiple times to let them know the date I would be through to pick it up. They still made me pay a restocking fee!?!? My wife and I are moving out of state and realized our Uhaul truck was not going to accommodate all of our goods. We decided to head to Ranch & Home for a 10' trailer. After shopping the selection of trailers on the lot, we went inside and asked for some help with questions we had. We met with the Store Manager named Chris. We could tell he was quite busy with customers and general store operations, but Chris was more than willing to help. Chris was very attentive, actively listened, was very knowledgeable, and gave a great recommendation. We didn't know exactly what was needed to connect our trailer and secure it. Chris walked us to the aisle to help us make the best purchase for our needs. Chris went above and beyond by walking us out and showing us how to connect the trailer, and then inspected to ensure all of our electrical was working. I'm not always in the market for a trailer, but I'd shop here again for a trailer, and recommend friends and family do the same. Thanks again for all your help, Chris! read more

I bought two pairs of jeans and tried them on in the changing room and they fit fine so I took them home and washed them because who doesn't wash new clothes they just purchased! I noticed thru out the day as I am wearing them they are getting more loose and sagging terribly. I work in the health field so I do not wear them all the time so I wore them one more time to see if it was the same and it was so I called the store to see if I could exchange them for a smaller size and I was told if you have washed your jeans they cannot take them back! I hate to say anything negative about Ranch and Home because the owners really give back to their community, but ...they never have Carhartt bibs in my husbands size. The clothing department is so packed full of stuff that you can hardly push your cart around. Then you have to search and search for what you are looking for. One day my husband was looking at boring trailer stuff, so I headed over to the boot department. I thought a cute pair of cowboy boots would be good for when I have to work on the farm (haha). There were boxes of boots all over the place and it was super hard to get down the aisle. We've bought several heated dog products (mats, water bowls) and have been satisfied with those. My husband likes the selection of trailer hitches, trailer lights, and other stuff that I know very little about. He did mention that he was trying to look at the guns and the way they have them displayed it's impossible to read the info tags. I have found cute gift items like cards, candles, and John Deere decorator items. They also have a nice selection of Breyer horses. We've also bought a wood stove and gun safe here, of which they have a lot to chose from. If Ranch and Home would carry a better selection of zip to the thigh bibs and put them right up front, so I can get in and get out, I would give them a higher rating. read more

I bought a pair of Justin Ropers here five years ago. They replaced a pair of Cabela's ropers that fell apart. Five years later the Justin's are still going strong. The only thing I've done to them is used Ranch and Home boot dressing and replaced the insoles with Superfeet. Ranch and Home does computer fitting of insoles. My hard to make happy feet are very happy with the insoles I got at R&H. Sorry to say I agree they need a better selection of big and tall; clothes boots and hats. They are happy to special order but that's not the same as in stock. The selection of BBQ equipment is outstanding. The staff are wonderful. read more

I went to ranch and home for archery equipment. The man with dark rings around his eyes, running the archery dept., was busy at the time. Rather than being nice about it he seemed to be upset that he had another customer. I thought maybe this was a bad day. So I went back another day and the same man treated me like dirt. So from now on I buy all my archery equipment somewhere else! I was in to buy some feed the other day, since it was on my way, when I thought is look at the fishing stuff. Finally got their attention and one of the clerks while not even approaching or welcoming me says " whadya want" and proceeds to point towards one of the glass cases. I found it, but there were several different types so I decided to give her a call to see what she wanted. She didn't answer, so I decided to look around since I hadn't been there in awhile.
