Tried Ranallis for the first time last night and it was a solid dinner choice. I ordered their 12-inch hot honey sopressata with ricotta on thin crust, plus an individual Caesar salad. Portion-wise, it was a perfect meal for one person. The pizza really hit the spot--exactly what I was craving. Not the best thin crust I've ever had, but definitely really good, and I'm glad I went with one of their popular options. The hot honey and soppressata paired with the ricotta was a great combo and made the whole thing come together. The Caesar salad was just okay, but it satisfied the craving. Overall, I'd absolutely try Rinaldi's again, and I'm looking forward to stopping in person next time to check out the bar.
Came here on marathon day for a break between cheering on runners! We shared the margherita pizza and seasoned fries, and I got a coke. The pizza was sooo good and garlicky. The fries were amazing! At first I thought it was funny that the specified "seasoned" on the menu, but the fries really were seasoned with some secret salt/pepper/sugar combination that was addicting. And maybe I was tired and thirsty but they had the best coke ever. Service was great especially considering the crowd. There was a nice mix of adult groups and families dining in. There were TVs at the booths showing the sports of the day. Restrooms were clean. You can pay at your table without having to wait for your server which was convenient. Thanks, Ranalli's! You hit the spot.
Ranalli's is the perfect spot in West Loop to grab a bite before a night out--or after--since they're open late. The vibe is fun, casual, and exactly what you want when you're out with friends! The service was phenomenal--seriously, some of the most attentive and welcoming staff I've had in the city. They kept the energy high and the drinks flowing!! We split a half jalapeño + pepperoni, half sausage + green pepper pizza, and it hit the spot. The crust leaned on the soggier side, but the flavors still came through and made it delicious. The toasted ravioli was another win--crispy, cheesy, and the perfect appetizer to share! With good food, great drinks, and even better service, Ranalli's is a solid go-to. Whether you're starting the night or wrapping it up, you can't go wrong here!
We shared these tavern style pizza: Hot Honey Soppressata - whipped ricotta, soppressata, roasted tomato, hot honey Ranalli's Special - italian sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers Not the best tavern style I would take tourists to but solid, affordable, go-to bar pizza when you're craving it. Good spread and flavor of toppings; crust could be crispier. No issues with service. Terribly loud inside.
It gets crowded in there, looks like a fun place to go before you head to a United Center game! They even provide shuttles that take you to United Center. They're known for their thin crust pizza, more so than the pan style (per the host). My fellow diner went with the pan style, "looked good, tasted okay." I had the Gluten Free 11inch Thin Crust - Hawaiian. I really loved the toppings on their take of Hawaiian: habanero BBQ, honey baked ham, smoked gouda cheese, thai basil, grilled pineapple. It was good, but I've had better crusts. The toppings/cheese slid off the crust as I ate it, so it wasn't as cohesive. The nice thing is that the gluten free crust is only an additional dollar, and just one inch less in size. Looks like they've got salads, appetizers, sandwiches as well. I would go there to watch a game in the future!
Went here for a march madness game on a sunday and it was busy! The service was pretty quick which was surprising. We started off with the calamari for an appetizer which was pretty average. Then we got the hot honey soppressata pizza which was mid. Overall was not very impressed with the food. There is definitely better pizza places in Chicago. The bill was also rather expensive for a couple drinks each and food.
Chef Alvaro is a great chef. We really love the pizza and the raviolis that are fried and the red sauce is really good and it's also sweet. The pizza is really thin crust and crispy, and if you buy a pizza with toppings, they lay on the toppings and it's amazing to enjoy your favorite stuff carefully laid out all over the pizza grid including putting mozzarella cheese very close to the crust which most pizza makers don't do. I tend to think that chefs like Alvaro really take such good care of making the pizza bc it takes time to add cheese so close to the crust. Thank you! The fried raviolis for $15 (not a lot of good at 5 pieces) were good but I didn't like the batter bc it was thick and grainy. I would have preferred a lighter batter. But the dipping sauces were good! Love the sports bar atmosphere and tons of ppl come here after United games too. Seats are comfy. Our waitress Dani was very sweet and attentive. Thank you! Street parking only and it's $4.75 per hour and the meters stop at 10pm.
Stopped by before a show at the UC -- the staff was so accommodating-- we didn't want to wait so they set us up outside with heat lamps. Our server was super friendly and prompt-- we thoroughly enjoyed our calamari, salad and entrees-- the margarita pizza and chicken parm sandwich. All the food came out surprisingly quickly and all at the perfect temps. The chicken parm sandwich was excellent -- thin, crispy, with the right amount of cheese and sauce-- the focaccia it was on was perfectly crispy. And the thin cut sweet potato fries? Spot on. We'll be back!
Where do I start. Clean and casual right when you walk in. The smells in the air were so inviting. Service was prompt and polite. The Cabernet with the pizza was a perfect combination for me. The pizza got the extra star for sure!
Ordered for take-out through DoorDash so I won't comment on the environment of the location, however I was compelled to review because of the level of costumer service this spot has. I put in the notes of my order to change one of the Soppressata pizzas I ordered made with pepperoni instead of their usual hard salami ham they use, fully convinced they would just ignore the note as a lot of other places do when ordering takeout. However I was more than pleasantly surprised to see they listened to my request! Automatic brownie points in my book. Also, to make a good thing even sweeter, their pizza was amazing! The Soppressata pizza was actually a bit spicy, and the one we had made with pepperoni was a lot more mild if anyone is worried they couldn't handle the OG. Can't wait to come back in person and try more of their specialty pizzas!
We were in the neighborhood and decided to stop in here on Friday night and had an easy time getting a table. The decor is pretty sleek and modern, very comfortable chairs. Loved the tavern cut pizza, it was a bit spicy so having the Caesar salad on the side was a good choice. The waitress told us how good the skillet cookie is and it didn't disappoint. Considering the price the beer could've been better/colder, they were almost warm.
Such a fun spot pre-united center events! Came here before a Blackhawks game and was thrilled with the energy of all the folks in Blackhawks attire. Took advantage of the fun free shuttle to the game after our meal as well. Service was quick and prompt. We shared a dill pickle pizza, jumbo chicken tenders, large Greek salad, and toasted ravioli. Everything was delicious though the Greek salad dressing was too sour and overpowering so we barely ate that. My spicy margarita went down well with this meal. A fun time for the big group!
Despite living within 1 mile of this place for over 10 years, I'd somehow never been until tonight. The weather was great and the vibe was right so mt wife and I decided to end our walk with dinner here. We ordered the tomato and watermelon with feta salad and a make-your-own 16" thin crust. The ingredients were fresh, service was great, and restaurant was clean. I'm pretty sure we will add this to our regular rotation. read more
casual ambience perfect for any sports lovers with the number of TVs. Service was great and super quick our food came out fresh hot and absolutely delicious. The only reason I gave it four stars versus five is because of the platform service fee in order to pay your check and there is a 3% surcharge on top of that which I believe restaurants added during Covid and never removed our server was able to remove it for us without any issues but with they're already being a platform service fee in order to pay your bill I think it's in bad taste that the management has kept on these fees. I would rather pay the servers additional tip. Will definitely come again. read more

I think Ranalli's is great bar food. The chicken tenders and cheese curds are top notch. You can't go wrong with a pizza and the cookie skillet is a fan fave. Docking a point because the service isn't great. My friend ordered a miller lite and they brought her the wrong beer 3 times. On the weekends, it's loud and noisy. read more

What a fun and delicious spot for pizza! We were able to get a table for 4 on a bustling Friday evening. The restaurant is a lot larger than what I had expected which is nice. There is also patio seating available for the nicer days. We started with the fries and calamari which were good - the breading on the calamari fell off easily but the pieces were fairly large. For pizza, we shared the hot honey soppressata and prosciutto and arugula. Both were good and we had enough for left overs. Docking a star because service was SOOO slow considering there weren't a lot of folks dining in. read more
Awesome time! Definitely plan on coming & will go out of my way to stop by here, that's how good the experience was. Everything from service to the taste of the food. My fiancé just claimed that this is now her favorite pizza in Chicago. It was pepperoni, hot honey, and ricotta cheese on top of it. So tasty & flavorful. The wings were crispy & meaty as well - best side was the fries! They had a hint of sugar so it made me want to keep eating haha the drinks are great & the atmosphere was awesome as well. Games playing all day and plenty of TVs to watch whatever sporting event you want. Our server was top notch and I would highly recommend. Answered questions & gave great recommendations. Thank you Ranalli's and I plan on coming back soon! Personal Review: 9.1/10 read more

I visited Ranalli's West Loop location in November 2022 for a holiday party. I had a wonderful time. The restaurant is very clean and spacious. They had a large bar area. There were ample amounts of seating and can accommodate big groups of patrons. There is street parking nearby. The Pizza was delicious. It was flavorful and had a crispy thin crust. I had the Ranalli's Special Pizza, which consisted of Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. I tasted the Meat Lover Pizza, which consisted of Italian sausage, pepperoni, bacon, and meatballs. The Bruschetta was also tasty, which consisted of tomatoes, basil and olive oil. The chicken tenders were big and juicy, and were served with dipping sauce. The garlic knots were yummy as well. They were knotted pizza dough, garlic butter, spicy Parmesan, marinara and ranch. The drinks were strong and well made, so I was definitely impressed. The customer service was very good, and the staff made me feel right at home. Everything was delicious, and I definitely look forward to eating here again. read more

Hi Jenny,…
"love at first bite" Flower petals lead us inside to the tables. DJ Electric guitar melting my heart and my date melting wallet. All joke aside. We were able to catch the happy hour on a Monday which lasts until 7 pm. 8 dollar old fashioned and discount on apps, plus more. Place is wall to wall with televisions for sports and decor and art to show that Chicago and pizza love. Casual place to meet after work or after enjoying a game/event at the United center. Food is a 4/5 hits good but pricy if you aren't in happy hour. The staff is easy to talk to and welcoming. Great place to watch a game, or the bachelor, while enjoying some libations. Cheers read more
This place is a good one! We stopped here for dinner before the Bulls game and enjoyed our time here. We ordered bruschetta as an appetizer and then the veggie and cheese pizza. Everything was super tasty and everything came out pretty quickly. The free shuttle to the United center was the icing on top. Can't wait to come back and enjoy the patio in the summer! read more

Came here for the MSU game. They have plenty of TVs and service was good. We ordered the chicken tenders, which I had a coupon for from the Best Date Foodies Patreon. They had def been done for a bit bc they weren't very hot but they were good! Nice crispy breading and lots of white meat inside. I liked that they came with different sauces, all which were pretty good. For pizza, we got the spicy soppressata with ricotta and added sausage. They added a generous proportion, which was nice. For a tavern style, I really enjoy this pizza. Overall, great experience and no real negatives! Just not mind blowing hence the four but I still recommend! read more

My friends and I come every Wednesday for trivia night and it's SO fun. Our servers are always so kind and helpful. We always get a pepperoni pizza, Caesar salad, garlic knots, chicken tenders, and/or wings. Hits the spot every week. Vibe is great. It's busy and bustling but it isn't too loud that we can't hear each other speak. Can't wait to keep coming back! read more
This review is for takeout/delivery only. They ordered a hot honey, soppressata pie, large, a few days ago and wow it was incredible! Great flavor and a good size for the price! The only negative was that the pie arrived cold by the time it was at my door but nevertheless we heated it up in the oven and it tasted delicious! I can't wait to eat in here and try other things. read more
