The fish and chips was so salty I couldn't even eat more than one bite of the fish. The beef Wellington was good but not amazing. I enjoy the atmosphere at Ramsay's Kitchen. It is a really nice restaurant. It is great for a date night and had a great bar. I had the crab cake and felt it was very good. I enjoy the sauce that it comes with. I've had the scallops and also the New York strip as a main dish. I was not a fan of the scallops, I felt the did not have a lot of flavor and it didn't feel like and entire meal. The steak was really good but it wasn't anything special. The brussel sprouts are delicious and are some of my favorite sides of any upscale restaurant. The mashed potatoes are a puree and feels like baby food. I did not like them. I would not order it again. The truffle fries are really good. The waiters are attentive and have always provided excellent service. They are able to explain the menu and make recommendations. A great blend of gin and raspberry purée that partners so well. One of my favorite cocktails I've ever tasted. My favorite appetizer was the jumbo lump crab cake! Every bite had big portions of crab meat and it was delicious! My boyfriend enjoyed the sticky chicken wings, especially the sauce. The balance of sweet and heat were complimentary to one another. They lacked flavor and were dry despite being seasoned with herbs and salt. They were served with a whipped butter that did not add anything to the dish. The wedge salad is made with an in house bleu cheese dressing that was delicious. Scallops, although $12.50 each ($50 for the dish), were served on an individual bed of black rice. I'm not sure how black rice is prepared, but it was a singular and interesting flavor that went well with the salsa on top each scallop. Overall a delicious dish. Cooked to perfection, the beef Wellington did not disappoint. The presentation was great and although not a unique flavor, it was flavorful and done very well. Made a reservation for 7:15 on Friday and did not get sat until 8pm. Our waitress came by the table to fill our waters then told us she would be back. Around 15 minutes later, she came back and asked us if we are ready to order. My date and I were slightly taken aback as we had not even ordered drinks yet, but we went ahead and placed our order for everything: a drink, an appetizer, and 2 entrees. We were lucky enough to get a reservation so early upon Ramsays opening. I'm going to actually give a helpful review for once in my life haha! When you make reservations online for the time being I was told that they cannot reserve more than 4 guests at a time so, if you have a larger party you will have to reserve their party room. I had made reservations for 4 guests under my name and gave it to my friends and my friends made a reservation for us under their name for a reservation for 2 guests, and in the notes we both put down to seat us by each other, because when I called to modify my reservation that's what the person over the phone suggested we do, is note it on the reservation, and that they would try their best to accommodate. Problem was my reservation started at 8:30 and hers at 9. When my friends arrived 2 mins prior to reservation time, they still had to wait until it hit 8:30 sharp to be seated. When I came we were seated far away by the door away from our friends so, I had to ask the hostess table if we could be moved. The first time I asked they blew me off and told me there were no tables back there by my friends. So, I texted my friends and they told me there were a few tables back there and that the two seater next to them was completely empty. So, I had to go back up to the hostess table, and ask AGAIN, and then they couldn't hide the fact that what my friend was saying was true so, they ended up moving us like we had requested on our reservations. After all that was settled we ordered drinks and apps. My hubby and I shared the crab cake and we both ordered drinks. I can't remember what he got, but I had the don't cha stop beverage which is a gin based cocktail with raspberry purée, and tonic water. It was delicious and refreshing. The crab cake was actually mostly crab and little filler which was surprising but of course amazing. After cocktails and apps we all ordered our entrees. A couple of our friends ordered the Beef Wellington, and I ordered the crispy skin salmon. We can't complain, everything was cooked to perfection and tasted perfect. For dessert the chocolate tart was sold out so, we ordered the cheesecake. The cheesecake was forgettable, and honestly probably should be replaced with another dessert since, it's not that great. My friend ordered a cranberry dessert they offered, and that was better but not that great either. I didn't get the sticky toffee pudding since, I eat a bunch of the sticky toffee pudding company desserts at home so, we got what was available to try other than the sticky toffee pudding. Recently opened in our area, we had to stop in and try it out. A bit difficult to get reservations, even for sitting at the bar. We finally got reservations for 3:30PM on a Monday afternoon. A very cool modern, but yet rustic decor. Nicely done. It was an open style kitchen so we could see what was going on. Cool. The hostess was very nice and let us choose our seats at the bar. The place was only about 50% capacity. The bartender said they were purposely keeping the place around half full while the staff and kitchen come up to speed. Quality before quantity I believe he mentioned. That's fair. A couple different bartenders waited on us. Both were very nice and prompt with getting our drinks and menus. Grant was great! The drinks were cold and fresh as expected. For dinner we decided to split an entree and a few apps and sides. We started with the Tuna tar tar which came with sour cream, some in-house pita chips and quite a bit of avocado slices. The crab cake was literally ALL crab meat. Lightly breaded and fried which came with a bit of salad and some of their in-house tartar sauce. Both of these apps were top-notch! The Chicken Milanese also came with some salad on top and was fairly large. Very tasty! For sides we had the Parker rolls which come in a hot skillet with a side of salted, whipped butter. OMG good! We had made last minute reservations for a late meal on a weekend. The place was almost empty when we got there which was a little strange.. Our food came out fast and met expectations for sure. I would highly recommend scallops and the truffle fries (not pictured). Wellington was recommended by staff and was OK. Probably wouldn't order again, but needed to because of the hype. I have mixed feelings about this place after my first experience. We made reservations but were seated 15 min late which isn't a problem for me because I love the bar lol. First bartender didn't offer us drinks since we were waiting on a table but the second one did and I'm glad because that bartender knew what he was doing. Cocktails were absolutely superb, whisky sour- very small but with real egg whites of course and my drink was garnished with a dried pineapple that altered the taste of my drink over time but it was still crazy balanced. Of course it's situated in the perfect location...can't go wrong with Chisholm Creek. The decor is contemporary with an upscale vibe. Can't say I appreciated having to reserve our table with a credit card. First time ever doing that, but if you don't show, it's $25 per person. Is this the way restaurants are going now? Anyhow, we sat at the bar while waiting for our table and the service was perfect from the bartender to the wait staff. The food was decent; my wife really liked her salmon dish and our crab cake appetizer was tasty, just thought it would be bigger with the price tag attached. It's a signature dish I know, but I've eaten bigger, jumbo lump crab cakes at the Baltimore, MD Harbor, San Francisco Bay and Redondo Beach Lobster Fest, so there's that. I ordered the fish and chips dinner, which was cool as far as taste, but a little greasy. The cod is huge too, so you get your money's worth! I also enjoyed the side of asparagus with parmesan sprinkled about. It's a bit pricey and the menu is limited (p.s. The beef wellington is not served until after 5pm). The burger was surprisingly good for a "gourmet" burger; it was not dry at all...very filling. When you walk into this posh spot located in the Chisholm Creek entertainment area, you're greeted with dim lighting and a well stocked bar area. The staff welcomes you as you're taken to your table. Once sat, our amazing server Jessy allowed us to look over the menu but also made great suggestions. You place your order for appetizers and entrees at the same time. Remember that episode of Spongebob where Squidward is trying to impress Squilliam Fancyson and turns the KrustyKrab into a beautiful establishment with top notch service from Spongebob? Ramsay's is what would have happened if it had worked out correctly, and if it was set in a contemporary 2023 setting! And that's high praise if you love Spongebob as much as I do! There is a SEA of Grey uniformed staff running around the place making sure every table has quick and friendly service. Our waitress was no exception and was well trained and very friendly! We also appreciated the coat check on the cold and rainy day we went in! The management made their presence known and I absolutely appreciated the cutthroat attitude of some of them as they ensured any small issues were immediately remedied. Gordon would be proud. Behind the windows of the kitchen was a large Army of kitchen soldiers who absolutely knocked it out of the park with every dish they were cooking up. For the hour and a half we were there, we didn't see a single dish being sent back. So, great ambiance, passionate staff, friendly service, and the extra mile being given.... But how was the food? It was FANTASTIC! We've eaten at establishments that probably wouldn't pass health inspections, all the way up to meals served by Michelin star awarded chefs and had many many memorable meals. Ramsay's easily lands in the top 3, and was absolutely worth the wait and hype! The Beef Wellington was perfectly prepared, it is as good as you hope it would be. The 14oz strip had the most perfect crust and was also cooked perfectly. All of the sides were robust in flavor and were absolutely worth the price, especially the potato purée. The toffee pudding was the perfect way to end the perfect meal. Only con to it was there are no specials at that time and the beef Wellington is not available until after 5pm. You are paying for an experience and we got that. I wonder if I look like someone from corporate so they thought I was doing a hidden audit of them or not. We shared eveything so we could try it all. Food: Crab cake was $23, I would pay for it again. It is a good 8 ounce portion of solid crab! No fillers in it, it had a small amount of breading but other than that it was solid and large chunks of crab. One of the best I've had. Parker house rolls: were good but not worth the $10 price tag!! 8 rolls that were a little smaller than a tennis ball. About half the size of most hot rolls I've had elsewhere. Fish & Chips: excellent. 2 large pieces probably close to an inch thick. Juicy, tender and cooked perfectly. The chips are triple fried potato chunks. They have a nice crunch and enjoyed them. I did have leftovers and reheated in my air fryer and were great! Not greasy at all. RK Burger: we upgraded and added bacon and changed the fries to truffle Parmesan fries. Burger was good, I got a hard piece of bacon so I didn't care for it and wouldn't bother to get bacon on it again for the $3 upcharge. I'm not sure I would upgrade to add the Parmesan, just ask for a side of the truffle aioli, that's where the flavor is at! It's excellent. Sticky toffee pudding: it is basically a very dense spiced cake with toffee sauce and a scoop of ice cream. Very rich. I really liked it and would get it again. Cocktails/spirits: we did not have any adult beverages but they had quite an extensive list so I would imagine you could find something to suit you. Prices did not seem outrageous to me. Overall we enjoyed the food and experience. Is this a place to go to dinner every month, no. But if I was doing a date night, girls night, company from out of town, business dinner, or a special occasion then most definitely! I can see us going there 5-6 times a year. I've been wanting to try Ramsay's since it recently opened, but it was always fully booked, so it would be good to get a reservation in advance. We had a great time; the ambiance was very lovely and romantic. Our waiter was lovely, but the hostesses were somewhat unfriendly and unwelcoming. The food was great-- we highly recommend the crab lump cakes and the truffle fries for appetizers, the scallops, and the sticky toffee pudding dessert. The drinks (one last kiss, lost in translation) and the dessert were the night's highlight! The beef Wellington, in my opinion, was somewhat overhyped; it was good, but it wasn't as great as we expected. Would come back again to try out more from the menu! read more

We came on the Saturday after Valentine's Day. I made the reservation over a month in advance and they tried to seat us directly inside the door at a high top table. I feel reservations should be reserved for more deeper secluded tables. They accommodated us and seated us at a table. It took awhile after our reservation to be seated and there's no obvious place to stand or sit while you wait. Wait staff was friendly and informative. Drinks were 10/10. I had the Love Affair (mocktail) and my boyfriend had Lost in Translation which he said was one of the best drinks he's had. Appetizers-We had the bread service. I thought it was just ok. My boyfriend said they had a weird smell which is odd because I saw another review where the couple had the same opinions. We do wish there were more options for appetizers. Besides bread 3 of the 5 options are seafood so if you don't like seafood you're limited. Salad-I had the harvest salad which was good I just didn't care for the huge slices of celery. I figured they would be finely chopped. Dressing was delicious. Entrees-I had the Chicken Milanese with Brussels sprouts. My boyfriend had the fish and chips. The chicken was good but seemed like it would be more flavorful. I think it was lacking salt. The Brussels sprouts were pretty blistered which lended a bitter taste which I found difficult to overcome. My boyfriend said the fish was delicious but he picked all the breading off. He said it was odd that it was perfectly golden brown and the fish was done but the entire inside of the breading was completely raw. He said the chips were overdone and he wished he had vinegar. Dessert-Cheesecake was 10/10. We commented it was the best cheesecake we've ever had however the portion was small. For dessert we expect 2 people can share comfortably and not be left wanting more. Price-The price is definitely hyped by the name attached. We felt the food wasn't anything super special to warrant the price tag. We would rather spend a little bit more for a more exceptional meal. This is our 2nd time to eat at Ramseys Kitchen. We had the fish and chips this time. It was so good. The food came out hot and fresh and well prepared. It came with Gordon's triple fried potatoes. Excellent. The tartar sauce was delicious. We don't usually spend a lot of money on lunch's and dinner, but we really feel like we get our moneys worth at this restaurant. Our waiter this time was Mark. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Other waiters came around and helped us as well. They all seem to work as one team and I love that. We met the manager when he came around to make sure we were doing ok. This is such a great restaurant on all levels. It was fun to see how the kitchen worked together. It was a scene out of Hells Kitchen, but on a calmer level. They all know what they are doing and that's great for us. Can't wait to go back. read more

We've been very excited for the opening of this restaurant and were thrilled when we got a reservation on our anniversary. It is truly a beautiful space. It is both chic and inviting. We were seated and told of the specials and recommendations were made. I always appreciate that! Our cocktails were unique and flavorful. For our meal we ordered: Wedge salad 5/5 Crispy brussel spouts 4/5 Baked mac and cheese 3/5 Hellfire chicken sandwich 4/5 We shared everything and it was more than enough. Since it was our anniversary we splurged and ordered dessert as well. Chocolate tart 5/5 Sticky toffee pudding 5/5 I was a bit disappointed in the menu options. What a meal! They are hitting it out of the park! The crab cakes were the best I've had because there are no fillers, just lovely crab! The fish & chips could definitely be shared. The piece of haddock was practically bigger than my head! The crispy batter was amazing! The hellfire chicken sandwich was spicy and flavorful with bleu cheese, hellfire sauce & spicy aioli. And I do want to mention that they have a kids' menu and my son loved the cheeseburger. Also, Chef Ramsay's sticky toffee pudding was delicious, perfect during this Fall season. The warm date cake and fresh ice cream with decadent toffee sauce was a great way to end the meal. (Beef Wellington is only served after 5pm, so I'll be back to try that.) Service was fantastic! We were checked on often by our server and also managers. Very clean and the patio doors were opened on a Sunday afternoon, allowing fresh air in. It was very beautiful and felt wonderful. read more

We ate here for my daughter's 17th birthday. This was our second time visiting Ramsey's Kitchen and at the request of my daughter since our first visit was pleasant. Our server Alexandra was slow and seemed to serve us with the expectation of the food is expensive, so she will get a tip of the total cost of the bill. They slid plates, food, drinks, and silverware across the table to us. Filled our drinks once. Their service slow and subpar to a restaurant of this quality. Our parker rolls were just ok, not as good as our first visit. They were out of several items. My husband's beef Wellington tasted like a ballpark hot dog drenched in cheap yellow mustard. My daughter's filet was burnt in the outside and raw in the middle. She was left cutting the edges of the steak to try to eat it since Alex did not come back to check on us. For dessert we ordered the chocolate pot de crème. This is the worst dessert I have ever had. The pastry chef should be embarrassed to serve this dessert. The plating is terrible. The chocolate was grainy and watery. The chocolate crumbles were stale and hard. The Madelines were tasteless and several days old. They were hard. Every part of the dessert was inedible and embarrassing. It belong in the garbage. Even Alexandra knew, they saw an uneaten plate and never asked about it. Again, poor service. As we were leaving, a person came up behind my son in law and told him to get the F*** out of the way. Just to top off the night. This is more like a Ramsey's kitchen nightmare. There are so many more great places to eat in OKC with great rising local chefs, especially pastry chefs. read more
