This place used to be very good. I don't think I've been here in at least 2 years. My husband went out of his way to go to this Roseville location, just to get me "Rams horn potato skins" for my birthday. Very seldom do I indulge in these. But they used to be so good, I was excited to get my carry out. It was terrible! Not just bad, almost inedible. I'm so disappointed. I asked for double ranch, I got double sour cream and No ranch. They couldn't even get that right.... These skins are tiny. Maybe 1 1/2" x 3" was the largest one. All but a few were nasty brown color, like they were sitting in some hot plate all day! Then they were soaking in grease, very poor quality unidentifiable cheese, and I think some stale baco's? It was not real bacon. They had no green onions, which might have been a blessing.... It's hard to describe. Absolutely the worst potato skins I've ever had! Gross is an understatement. I won't even give these to my dogs, I'm afraid it will make them sick! What a shame! How far you've fallen. Yours used to be the best potato skins around. They were Big beautiful Idaho potatoes with good cheddar cheese and real bacon, and always topped with green onions. I'm beyond sad... Stay clear of this place, if you value the condition of your stomach. Especially if you want to indulge in what used to be a delicious, carb heavy appetizer. I gave one star, just for the two unburnt ones I dared eat. Fingers crossed I don't get sick from those. Happy B-day to me. Side Note: thank goodness I had some Jets ranch. DO NOT use your bank or credit card here! Paid with bank card and stated tip was on table. Seen my bank statement and I was charged an additional $10. I don't know why but when I called I was told there was no manager on duty (B.S.! a manager has to always be on duty or health dept will take points off so try that somewhere else) No one would speak to me about the additional $10... Imagine that Makes me wonder how many people they have scammed and no one thought about it. This is ILLEGAL!!! Pay with cash here. Food was GREAT!! Service was GREAT!!! HOWEVER.... The cook was in the back talking on his telephone while cooking our food... Everybody knows that telephones have a high concentrate of fecal matter on them... It was a real turn off... Plus he was so loud we could hear him in the back of the restaurant... So sad.... Ram's Horn is a good alternative to Denny's style diners. What sets them apart really boils down to two things: price, and choice in items on the menu. They do a great breakfast that just blow Denny's Grand Slam out of the park. (Wow, reading that sentence aloud sounds really funny.) They have great portions, and cheap prices. You won't have to spend $8 for a good breakfast here! This used to be a late night hang out for young people, but not so much anymore. It's a quiet 24-hour place that's comfortable and clean. I'd suggest trying their chicken salad, or the breakfasts, the pancakes or the waffles. That with a bottomless cup of coffee is about as good as it gets! read more

I tried to place an order to be PICKED UP. The guy who answered the phone was friendly and asked me to hold for a second(no problem). Afterwards, some girl answered and was absolutely disrespectful. I enjoy the food, but the level of Customer Service she provided was much below par on ANY given standard. Had the audacity to ridicule me and also state "I really don't care if you come to pick it up or not" Service absolutely lousy, and will never even fathom of returning. Came here for Christmas morning and made reservations, I want to start by saying the omelet I had was amazing with the touch of the tomato slices on top and the hash browns were perfect not burnt or undercooked. The waitress had a very positive attitude and was fast and so nice. I look forward to coming back to a great restaurant with great food. read more

Last two times I've been here my order wasn't just wrong but played with. First time I got fries instead of onion rings even though I paid the up charge. This place does not care about their food. I ordered a carry out of stuffed French toast and side of biscuits and gravy. First of all my French toast was soaked in strawberry jelly and whipped cream to the point my toast was a giant pile of mush. Most disgusting thing I have ever tried to eat. So I moved on the the biscuits and gravy. I'm pretty sure they pulled the gravy from the freezer and served it to me. The gravy was ice cold. I will not eat or order anything from them again. This is a really subpar Rams Horn location. The service is always bad. Be prepared to wait 15 minutes for refills and ask 2-3 times for the dressing or whatever they forgot for your order. The coffee is decent and hey are open 24 hours, but the service is so bad I can't imagine going back. read more

This specific Ram's Horn location is consistently awful to mediocre. Maybe it is just my luck, but I seem to always get waitresses who hate being at work, and make it very very apparent. Like, literally complaining to other waitresses and cooks and such. I used to be a waitress, so I understand the frustrations... but it makes no sense that they are always doing it! The last four times I have been to this location, every single time the food has been pretty bad. The only good part was the coffee... Honestly, I have decided not to go here anymore. Went there with friends at around three in the morning. We ordered food which took a very long time to come out. I Ordered the chicken quesadilla which comes with fries. The quesadilla was burnt and didn't come out with fries. I sent the quesadilla back and asked if I could just get the fries that come with it. The fries came out and were pretty much raw. DISGUSTING Restaurant!!! Will never come back to this place again!!! First disgusting one was, when they served our food to other customer and then bring it to our table after the customer touching it (they thought we did'nt see it) and realized it was'nt what they order. We go there most friday nights after bowling. The food is ok diner fare . Service is friendly and they always treat us good. The only real beef I have is that all there menu items include fries which Im not much for. but it is certainly better than Dennys or National Coney.
