My friend and I had a great time at this eatery in Annapolis! The service was fast and smooth, the staff were friendly and kind. I ordered Mac and Cheese and it was sooo delicious with Old Bay! I would recommend this place to people looking for dinner with family or friends.

Happy menu that they don't offer whenever they decide not to offer it.

Server was nice. Food was decent. But! We came to RH to listen to music during the Annapolis Songwriter Festival. Advertised as happy hour 3-6 with 1/2 off apps and drink specials. Ordered apps and was getting ready to order drinks and the server said oh they decided not to do Happy Hour today. I'm sorry what? It's advertised. It's on your website and it's on your menu right here. We will not return.

Crispy Duck & Butternut Squash Risotto

Great dinner before the 7 Bridges show at Rams Head On Stage. Had the fried catfish platter with jumbo shrimp and fries. My wife had the shrimp salad on a croissant. Excellent!

This was so delicious. Ravioli, artichokes, chicken schnitzel, cream sauce.

This is a great brewery, restaurant, bar, concert venue. The food is outstanding. The bar area is great and you can tell the locals hang out here. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. The wait staff was great. You could tell they were busy, but they were just like your friends. The concert venue is wonderful, intimate. Every seet seemed great. The food in the concert area is similar, but maybe a little more limited. This place really knows what they are doing. Just go.

We ate there last night before seeing a show next door. My burger and fries were both severely underdone (i.e. almost raw), and I could not eat them. They did take the food off of the check and arranged for us to receive two free drinks at the show, which was a nice gesture. The concerning part was that they called out that I was not the only one having issues with severely underdone food that evening (yikes!). It seems to me like they have a cook/back half staff issue. If we come back for another show at the On Stage venue, we will not be returning here to eat before (or after).

I took advantage of the discounts with my ticket to the show at the venue next door. I enjoyed a Rams Heqd IPA and the cheese and meat board. Service was fantastic and just look at this cheese and meat board!

Great tavern with concert venue attached. Service is amazing as is ambiance. They give discounts if you make reservation before a show and give free beer after. The happy hour is also great to combine with the discount with half off apps and five dollar beers and other drink deals. We had the Brie Fritters, Tuna Nachos, and Veggie Flatbread as our appetizers and a Cornycado Salad with Salmon and Duck Tacos as our entrees which we loved with all of their house beers, especially the seasonal sour. We even had a bit of leftovers left they packed for the show but we did not eat them until we got back to our hotel after.

Love it here! My favorite is the beer garden, it so nice to sit outside when the weather is good! The food is delicious and I always enjoy my meals here!

Great drinks and tots! We stopped here before taking a sailing trip and sat at the bar. The bartender helped make a speciality drink based on some of their other options. The cheesy crab tots were so filling that two of us couldn't finish them!

Nice lunch last Thursday with friends and family downstairs at Rams Head Tavern of Annapolis , Md . Although the menu is pretty extensive , I went with the Cheeseburger and Fries . The Cheeseburger was perfectly cooked and the fries were hot . Our server who took care of about 20 people did a great job ! Parking in Annapolis is always tough but Rams Head is worth a visit .

Amazing food and service. Quickly sat. They had scotch tape. Manager was rude to their hostess.

We visited here since they were really dog friendly, according to Bring Fido. We were super disappointed they got rid of their doggy menu, but more so that three requests for water for our pups yielded nothing. I was so disappointed in my meal that I almost told the waiter. I've never done that before, ever. I ordered the crispy duck tacos. They weren't crispy, but the four pieces of duck (two per taco) were soaked in a sickly sweet teriyaki sauce to the point where you couldn't taste duck. The vegetables on the side were also a soggy, soaked mess that tasted only of the teriyaki and slopped on top of rice. My boyfriend got the fish and chips; the fries were ice cold and the fish lukewarm. The Brussels sprouts were great, but not worth a visit.

Busy but efficient. Decent menu with great pre show food. Prices were not outrageous like other music venues with a restaurant.

Ask the Community - Rams Head Tavern

How late do they serve food during the week?

How long should I allow for a casual dinner for two at Rams Head Tavern before seeing a concert at 7:30 PM in Rams Head Live?

I would allow for an hour, an hour and a half if you're including drinks. Just to not rush your meal/dining.

Walking around downtown Annapolis, we overheard some people outside the restaurant raving about how…read moregood the food was, especially the crispy kale, so we decided to give it a try. We were immediately greeted and taken care of, which was a great start! The crispy kale was HANDS DOWN one of the best kale dishes I've ever had!!! It was so good that I'd honestly come back just for that alone. I also ordered the crab bucatini, which was delicious! The pasta was perfectly al dente, and I loved all the different textures and flavors in the dish. I'll admit, looking at the menu, I initially thought this might be one of those overly hippie places that tries a little too hard, with a limited selection that doesn't necessarily look all that appetizing on paper. But wow, was I wrong! Don't let the menu fool you. This place is absolutely worth trying, and the crispy kale alone is reason enough to stop by! They also make their own soda! My one gripe is the "labor of love" tax. I'm not the biggest fan of these extra fees, especially when you're already paying for your meal and tipping. That said, the food was genuinely delicious, and I'd still recommend giving this place a try! Plenty of seating inside, outside, and at the bar!

None of us had ever been there, so we were in the dark about the food and everything else. Our waiter was efficient and competent, but we all found him aloof. It would have been nice to have a smile and a willingness to describe the dishes. We ordered a variety of dishes, and we all agreed that the crispy kale was a big hit. I wish I had taken pictures of the food. It was all good, including the Bloody Mary and the cold brew. Deducted a star for the waiter's attitude, not having more specific egg dishes, avocado toast (I was so craving it), or espresso drinks. Overall, we loved it, and we all look forward to going back, especially knowing what to expect-and what not to.

The food, service, music, and atmosphere are consistently on point. What really stands out is the level of customer service. The manager is always visible, checking in with guests and making sure everyone is enjoying their experience. That kind of attention and hospitality says a lot about how much they value their customers. This place is truly a hidden gem in Annapolis. The vibe is great, the food delivers, and the service keeps us coming back. They hit the mark every single time for us. Highly recommend!

Once seated the server approaches us with a bottle of Saratoga water and aked if this was our first time at the restaurant. I replayed yes and she proceeded to inform us of all the food stations. She continued to ask if she could take our drink order and I had inquired about the cost of the bottle of Saratoga water it was $6 and we decided to purchase the which left me thinking the tap water was not good. The food I had bacon, eggs, shirmp and sausage gravy, prime rib roast and grits. The egg were okay. The bacon was good and crispy. The grits and cheese was good, shrimp and sausage in gravy. The gravy was so thick you could not get to the meat. The prime rib was small and over cooked. I also ordered a latte with espresso and coffee both was so weak the Saratoga water tasted better. Asked that both be removed from my check. The music was great. Note: be prepared to pay an 18% gratuity/tip which included in the total on the check. There was three in our party our tip was $28 which means it's $9.33 per person.

Looking through the menu I really thought I had found a gem. However, not so much. The armadillo eggs were supposed to be fried brisket and cheese stuff jalapenos. which sounds amazing, but the filling was more like a puree of brisket and cheese, weird texture definitely no tender bits of brisket which was a shock. I would've like some chopped brisket in the filler, but the texture was way off. I went on to have the smokehouse sampler with Chicken, Brisket, and Pulled pork. I got Brussel sprouts and mac & cheese for sides. The brisket was dry and felt reheated. The chicken was tough and the breast was over cooked, and the pulled pork was dry and bland. The only thing saving this food was the sauces. For a smokehouse, the food doesn't have the flavor profile of smoked meat. My wife got the eastportorican, which is a cuban, but it was dry. There was only 1 server for all the tables, so I'm not sure if they were just under staffed and having a hard time, but you only get one chance at a first impression and this was not a good one. I actually had no complaints about our server either, she was doing better than most people would in her situation, and the customers were pretty patient.

One of the oldest Tavern's in the US, opening in 1747 this venue is a cultural landmark…read more The tavern was originally opened as both a hat shop and an "ordinary tavern" by hatter and merchant William Reynolds. But how's the food? Well, I am just getting to that read below for the whole endeavor. My girlfriend and I sat down and were fairly impressed with the Tea service set ups that several customers seemed to be partaking in. When we asked about gluten free tea service it was a no go however, they didn't have many substitutes that they could offer, strike one. We started with some appetizers, the Crepe Aubergine (thinly sliced eggplant flash fried, rolled and stuffed with Ricotta with Spinach, herbs and minced onion. Served over roasted tomato sauce). This came out piping hot and was deee-licious. We also ordered the mussels, which I thought were exceptional however over six of them were closed and you know the saying, if the shell is closed, do not open, place aside and mourn the wasted food. Strike 1 and a half? The server we had was well.....very bad. She seemed like the opposite of a type A personality, barely coming over even after my girlfriend ordered a tea and we needed another teacup to try the tea as it steeping. The experience of eating here was very tainted by the service as when I asked for the check we waited and waited and eventually, I had to track her down and ask for it again. Strike two and a half? The menu is interesting as they have unique items like Fried Seafood Cornbread and Frito Pie on the menu (Our house chili served over Fritos chips and topped with sour cream and shredded cheese). I am not sure why an upscale restaurant like this would have Frito Pie on the menu, but I like the fact that you can order a nice steak or something more lowkey like a Frito Pie. Although we both felt disappointed as we had some high expectations from the person who recommended it, I would go back if I was in the area and give them another shot. As always people SYOY!!!!
