We were here for bumper car section. I have never have a bumper car on ice. It definitely a great experience for me. The control is by two handle on both side. If you want to forward, both handle forward and so do backwards both backwards. For turn and spin use one foward and one handle backwards. Since this is ice, you will need to paid attention about spinning. Because it won't stop immediately. For changing directions, you may want it to stop first before changing it. Overall we have good fun. Once it move, it slide on ice very fast. Love the bump.

This park also has a huge soccer area with several fields. Opposite is a walkway around the man made lake. There's lots of parking and facilities, it's not a reserve but it's an enjoyable nature walk.

The playground is fenced in for the kids and the bathrooms and water fountains are really close. The playground has some shade but not in the right spots and the shade it does have isn't big enough. There are two sides of the playground - one for tots and another for toddlers. The ground is synthetic cushioned. Families are almost always friendly and we usually stay about 40 minutes each time. Parking mostly available right in front. We tried to fly a kite one time but we're told not allowed at any city park with lights - to prevent getting tied up in them.

We stopped here around 10 am or so on a Saturday morning, and it was initially just us and one other mom and her kid. We headed straight for the swings (my son's favorite), and then afterward let him have free reign to explore what he wanted. He loved the setup with all of the spinny toys and bells! As we stayed longer, more and more families started showing up, but it didn't ever feel too crowded while we were there. We loved how shaded the playground area was -- the weather was still slightly cooler then, but I know that shade is all the more appreciated in the summer. He was still a little too small for the bigger playground sets (he hadn't quite figured out stairs at that point), but now that he's grown a bit, I will absolutely bring him back here on our next trip to South Florida so he can explore further and go on the slides! I have yet to find a playground in Tampa as nice as this one!

We have been here several…read moretimes for the splash pad and connected playground for birthday parties or just on a hot day. The pool has lessons for all ages, lap swimming and a hot tub. The lessons usually sell out, so the morning the lessons open up, arrive early for registration. The admin building also has a large multipurpose room to rent for events at affordable rates. There is a very large parking lot too. The office can also sell beach, boat and dog passes as well. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We have had nice experiences here and will continue to attend events throughout the year.

The children's playground is completely unfenced, which is less than ideal since it's right next to a parking lot which can get quite busy. The play equipment has some areas that feel like it is geared towards younger children, but then linked to tall drops with tight rope like climbing areas, which could be very fun for older children yet dangerous for the younger ones. There is a lack of seating around the playground border and only has some picnic tables under the pagoda, which is off to the side near the bathrooms. We did not use the bathrooms, but our friends did - they did not complain. The play equipment is in need of a clean- hopefully the city park Cleaning team can address this. There are baby swings, regular swings, and even a tandem mommy and me swing plus a swing which caters to Dissabilities. We loved this. Another great part of the park is the inground merry-go-round, which makes it much safer than the ones that are raised. This is close to some other areas that we visit so we might come again, but it's not our first choice for a day out. We would only choose it for convenience and closeness and a short visit.
