I've had Ramos's service for about 6 years or so. He was referred by my friend. In the beginning he came bi-weekly as scheduled, then slowly he started coming once a month to not showing up at all. My dad sends him monthly checks every beginning of the month as a courtesy and convenience as opposed to being billed after the job. Mr. Ramos would cash the checks, but not schedule any maintenance. He doesn't reply to calls and text messages either, nor request for refund for non services rendered. We even added extra $ as a X-mas bonus, but that went unappreciated. They transformed our backyard into a beautiful paradise. This business is very professional, efficient, and up front with everything. They couldn't have made the entire process easier. Anything I wanted, they got and installed for me which was particularly helpful since I keep very busy. Every day they showed up, they did a great job cleaning up and always had everything they needed: food, water, tools, etc. I am very happy with their service and would recommend them to everyone. The quality of Ramos' work is outstanding. I hired them to even my yard, take out all the weeds, put in new grass, add a garden bed around the yard, separate sections of the yard, install a new sprinkler system, hook up and set a timer for the sprinklers, add a drip line for the garden bed, buy and plant a variety of vegetables and flowers. This is the worse gardener ever!!! My bill was the highest it has ever been, not to forget my water bill has doubled. He started off very good and as the months passed he neglected my garden. We have a big property so the house need to maintained weekly. Every time I would explain what I wanted he was super defensive. I have dead flowers all around my house. My flower bills seems so much higher with a bunch of dead flowers. Such a disappointment. read more

Based on the reviews on yelp, I called for a quote. Mr. Ramos was very polite and said he needed to come over for an on site quote. We set the appointment, and both my husband and I cleared our schedules to meet him. He never showed up. I texted him, no answer. Finally, we called him up with a different number and Mr. Ramos answered. His excuse for not being there? ... he forgot. Unfortunately, I did not get the chance ascertain whether his services are any good because I've decided to give my business to someone who respects his potential clients' time and demonstrates greater responsibility as a business owner. read more

Don't waste your Time..... I called Ramos Landscaping after my wife found them on line...Seemed like they had mostly good reviews.. A guy came over, took some pictures, rolled out some tape to measure my property, and talked with me about my options: he left assuring me to contact him thru his Email, and he would send me his quote. And so I waited... I sent 3 Emails I called his number- He said, "hang on. I'll call you back..." - he didn't I called at least 3 more times in the week and left messages THEY (he) NEVER GOT BACK TO me....I made it clear on my messages and Emails, I was serious about using them and wanted their quote.. And they never replied in anyway.. They are obviously , not a serious company...If a company actually has a highly motivated customer, that wants to use their company, and they simply string them along and blow them off...They are flakey and are undependable... STAY AWAY FROM THIS FLAKEY COMPANY!!! please be aware...there are other RAMOS Landscapers on YELP.. The one in Los Angeles on Royers Street...with Juan Jr and Juan Sr....are great...I'm actually going with them because they are professional and follow up. read more

Oscar and his crew are THE BEST!! Very professional, great rate/quote. They ended up removing all our old sod and put down all new sod. They removed it all, roto tilled, checked my sprinklers, laid down fertilizer and then put down the most beautiful "bluegrass" my wife and I have ever seen. I used him for one year and had to watch him every single time. He is the big thief ever!! Whenever I would give him an extra job, he was trying to still merchandise and give a hand write invoice saying he lost the original invoice. He didn't showed up every week and was not answering text or phone. The last time I saw him, he asked me to give him a loan of $150 which I did, and he got disappeared. I report him to the Police department and I want you to please be very careful and don't let this person to come to your house. read more

I have been using Ramos Landscaping Services for years. The owner understands that business and home owners are closely watching their expenditures during this tight economy. Mr. Ramos is careful to charge the appropriate amount of money for the work to be done. They provide my weekly gardening and, because of their care, my yards are the nicest in the neighborhood. But their business is much, much more than yard maintenance. They have re-piped my irrigation and drainage throughout my property, they have laid a cement foundation for a new backyard structure and they are exceptional tree-trimmers. More so, Oscar Ramos and his employees are honest and friendly. Plus, they are comfortable with my pets. This summer I plan to use them to repaint my entire house. I called Oscar Ramos to help me fix the sprinklers in my garden and he came out the next morning. The sprinklers lacked pressure and I suspected one was broken but didn't have a clue how to find it. Oscar knew exactly where the problem was and got to it right away. It was fixed very quickly, the whole system was checked and he taught me what to do so my dead grass would come back.
