After searching online for a tree service, I called 3 in my local area. Two of them called me back, the first of which was Tree Service Express, and they came out the same day! I got an estimate from the other one that was less but Nick, the owner who is a certified arborist, was very professional, thorough and friendly. I felt he knew much more about what he was doing than the other guy that came out and that made me more comfortable. He not only addressed the specific branches I wanted cut back, he also educated me on the health of my trees. One of my trees had a dangerous cavity that was rotten and I didn't even see it. He noticed some growth patterns or marks under one of the branches that seemed suspicious after further investigation, he discovered an opening that was rotten and was putting my house at risk as the tree was right next to my home. He recommended we remove the tree. At first I was apprehensive, since I didn't know there was an issue there. However, I am so glad I trusted his recommendation because once they began removing the tree I could see it was rotten down the center of the tree. With all these bad storms and a hurricane in the area, I am happy this was caught and addressed before I ended up with the tree on my roof, or through it! It was a pretty big oak tree. The crew was very professional and it was obvious that they knew what they were doing. I was nervous since the tree was so close to my house, but he used a crane so they were able to cut the tree in in pieces, lift it from above and lower the pieces to the ground with out just letting them fall. We were very impressed. They even cleaned off our roof and the whole yard looked great when they were done! They trimmed up the other trees beautifully and we couldn't be happier. We will be using them again anytime we need tree work done and highly recommend them to any one needing a tree service! The short of it... GREAT JOB at a very reasonable price! Tree Service Express's owners Teri & Mick, the crew and the equipment are TOP Notch! Teri met with my wife and I at the 50 foot high, 40 year old, oak tree which was too close to the house with huge branches that hung way over our roof. Teri, my wife and I mapped out where the equipment would trek in from the road and across the yard to the tree avoiding underground cables and water lines. Where there was no other route but over water lines, they would lay out ¾ inch real plywood sheets for the equipment to move across and eliminate any pin-point pressure on the underground piping. We then sat down and Teri produced a book showing Tree Service Express's equipment at work. The equipment included: A hydraulic 60 foot high capable person-lift which has stabilizing anti-tilt arms that rest on the ground when the lift is deployed; a small Bob-Cat with a working clawed front unit for picking up large branches, the stump pieces and getting them on and into a huge truck they use to haul away ALL the tree debris; And of course the stump grinding unit which renders the remaining ground level in ground stump into mulch. Tree Service Express called ahead and arrived on time on the appointment date. I was real worried about the large limbs over the house, but watched them secure the large branches to the person lift, then cut each that branches into smaller portions and gently swing the person-lift with the heavy cut branch to the ground and out of harm's way. The Bob-Cat them moved in and loaded the truck with the cut debris. The smaller debris was hand loaded onto the truck. When the tree was leveled and the stump grinder had done its work, the whole crew racked up the yard and loaded that debris onto the truck. My yard was left clean and with one less tree. The whole operation was done in 4 hours and so efficiently. Would I recommend Tree Service Express to others? YES DEFINITELY!!!! read more

We recently hired tree service express based on the flyer we got in our mailbox and it turned out to be an extremely good decision. They actually showed up a little early and listened to instructions very carefully as far as where to not drive heavy equipment to avoid septic tanks and drain fields that are all over my rental property. I hired them to cut back some extremely heavy and dangerous Australian Pines that are actually leaning over onto my property and leaning over the roof of one of my rental houses in a way that could pose a serious problem if strong enough winds came through and took those trees or even heavy branches down. So the job was to trim branches, heavy duty branches and tops of trees, back to the property line where nothing was still hanging over that particular rental house or over onto the property that could harm people or pets on the ground. It was obvious that safety was a high priority as everyone wore both hard hats and safety glasses during the whole operation. They also took their time and did everything in a manner that did not jeopardize them, the rental house below the trees, or the power lines they had to work around. There were no surprises either in the work they performed or in the final price that they were paid and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing professional tree work from small jobs to even large ones. These guys are professional and it would be wise to listen to them if they tell you when trees need to come down. Very presumptuous of the bad review to assume that was a pressure sale. They didn't recommend any other work to be done other than what I had asked. Perhaps my trees are healthier and strategically placed unlike the other reviewer. I found the price to be what I would expect for a professional service with the proper insurance to cover their workers. You will pay a lot more than $75 if a non insured worker hurt himself on the job and sued you for damages. Tree Service Express brought in the 'big truck' with all the equipment needed to get into my backyard and utilized all the proper safety equipment as they worked. They first removed a useless and extremely large evergreen tree that was shading my pool screen and taking up far too much room on my lawn. The stump was chopped up and mulch left for me to use on my citrus. They then went to work trimming a very large live oak who'd been neglected for years. Unbeknownst to me it should be done about every 3 years. When they were done with him the sun shone through his branches here and there like it should and after a year there still is hardly any dead branches falling off him onto my yard. Good work. I'm going to call them soon in fact as I'm worried about a large side branch on the oak falling off during the next hurricane as I trust their judgement. read more

I highly recommend this company for tree removal and trimming. Today they removed three Washingtonia Palms from my front yard that were just under two stories high and two feet from the edge of my house. A crew of seven guys (Anthony's crew) arrived in well maintained vehicles and all were very polite, well dressed, and professional. Crew foremen Anthony, or Tony, and I discussed the work before they got started as I had some smaller ground vegetation, old well pipes, and a septic field in their way). They even moved a very dear to me old and massive staghorn fern I had received from my grandfather in the mid 1990's. The team was well organized, all the equipment ran great with no oily mess dripping on the driveway or delays for repairs etc. They were very proficient and had all three palms down with zero problems in about a few hours. When they were finished, they had cleaned up all of the mess made from the work plus picked up a small pile of hurricane Ian debris (which came from the palms also). I called 4 different tree services/ arborist's in the area. Only 1 returned my call; Tree Service Express. Tree Service Express has trimmed out some of my trees and 2 big oaks in the past couple of years and did a great job. I made an appointment for an estimate, Chris called before he arrived and arrived a few minutes early. We walked around my property and talked about cutting down 1 or 2 trees and trimming 6 others. we made an appointment for about 2 weeks out. The crew foreman called me early in the morning and gave me a time they would arrive. We walked my property and I let them know what I wanted. The crew set up and went to work immediately. Their quality of work, work ethic, and their overall attitude were all great. They cut down 2 oaks (and ground the stumps), and trimmed 6 other oaks. Additionally they helped me hang a 600 LB staghorn in a tree. The crew cleaned up all of the cuttings immediately and hauled them off. We are the residents of a home listed on the National Register. There is a huge old live oak tree adjacent to our home, with large limbs extending across the roof. Nick Rocco of Tree Service Express took on the task of reducing the overhang to satisfy the insurance company while preserving the integrity and life of the tree. He and his professional crew selectively pruned limbs, lifting them above the pool roof with a crane. He removed branches near power lines and raised the canopy significantly above the house. When they were done, they cut up and removed all debris, leaving a clean site. Nick's skills as an arborist were superb, and the tree is now healthier and lighter, with the base of the branch canopy significantly above the house. In addition, he removed some high branches from two other trees without an additional charge. We are grateful for the expert care our trees recieved from Tree Service Express and highly recommend them for the challenging task of tree removal and tree trimming. Recently I was in need of a tree trimmer for my commercial property in Brevard County. After many phone calls, we were referred to Tree Service Express. The appointment scheduler called the office and we set an appointment for the following week on Tuesday. Over the weekend, it was realized our bookkeeper would be out o fthe office on Tuesday and we would have to postpone until Wednesday. Don't bother to shop prices. You won't find a better, safer, quicker, more knowledgeable, amicable and professional crew to work your tree project. We've had their services previously due to all the aforementioned traits. We currently had four giant pine trees removed (three 40ft+ and one 60ft+). Two of the pine trees were in a green zone of our back property near a neighbor's steel barn and had to be "surgically" removed with no resultant property damage. The tall one was near our house and had to be reached over a septic tank and drain field. This challenge was accomplished with a precision that I would have only trusted the Tree Service Express trained crews to attempt. Kudos to "Crew #1." This was no regular tree company. They arrived on time. They did everything they promised plus more. I've had a huge oak in my backyard that was in the corner with power lines. It was a very difficult removal. They have all the needed equipment and safety was their priority for my yard and house. They are well protected themselves. They cleaned up everything and I am so happy to have hired honest, educated, and knowledgable company. You get what you pay for! This is a hard job and yet make it look easy. Very professional service. They removed a huge oak that was rotten, hollow, and close to my home. With the use of a crane and expert tree climbers, they took down the oak in pieces with no damage to the many plantings near the tree. The stump was ground down and all the debris was removed..The crew worked in the rain to finish up the cleaning. They even cut up the oak limbs for firewood for me.This was all done rapidly. Tree Service Express has completed amazing service to the Live Oak in my backyard. The tree was beginning to die from disease. It was covered in 90 percent of moss which was adding issues due to suffocation. Due to the great work done by the crew, the tree has a 90 % chance to survive.
