This is a scam warning. This company/individual has taken 3 people that I am aware of in our…read moresubdivision within 1 week. Consider: * 10 years in business and no reviews. * No address for the business. * When the phone # is called, there is no identification as a business. * The owner's name is not River Ribon, it is River Clemow. * Do they ask for the whole amount due upfront? * Do they tell you that they have done work for the neighbors, if so VERIFY. * Do they insist you pay cash? * Do they try to expand the job once it is started? * Is their flyer in black and white from a copier? * Did they come knocking on your door? What will happen: * They do not appear to have the equipment to do the job. * Depending on the size of the job, it will either be poorly done or as in my case, not completed at all. I have been waiting 8 weeks now. They will call you back but they have a different excuse each time. * They promise a great deal but write the contract in such a way that only the minimum work is described. Example: replace dirty rocks with clean rocks. The verbal discussion involves removing the rocks, removing the current weeds, laying down new landscaping fabric and replacing with clean rocks. They instead placed some clean rocks on top of the dirty rocks with the weeds in place. **** I find no other choice than to pursue reimbursement of my funds by filing in small claims court.

My home foundation was washing away and I needed all the beds around my house shored up with dirt…read moreand rock. I am a senior woman and knew this was a big job, but knew I couldn't do it myself. This company assured me they could do the job for my budget (taken from my life savings). They put in a water drainage system that had problems from the beginning, but eventually fixed it (I think... it hasn't rained yet to find out). Then, the owners did not properly estimate the amount of materials to complete the job with dirt, rock and sod, and kept coming back for more money. I finally said no more and they left me with the job that was not complete. My new walkway is washing away just from the sprinkler (can't wait to see what happens when it actually rains) and the stones are moving around when you step on them. The backyard bed is washing away around the steps. The edging is kinked, and the pipes they said they would bury in stone are left exposed. The sod, they sold me (extra) to cover up the ruts from their machine used to move dirt and rock is dying and not rooting, even though I'm watering properly. The landscape edging is sticking up (in some places 2 to 3 inches) and not buried properly in some places. They didn't bother to grade or fix the ruts, except throw in a couple pieces of sod after I questioned if they were going to fix it. My lawn is high low patchy ... and looks awful! And, the foundation, which was the main reason for doing this project, is still not shored up because they ran out of rock and they wanted more money for more! This was a bait and switch deal and I fell for it! I wouldn't recommend these people to anyone. Less
