New to FL and just bought a house. Wanted nice borders around our landscaping. Looked at colored/patterned concrete curbing (which is nice) but decided on rock borders set in concrete (crazy nice). Saw the pics on Smilin' Curbs page and looked at one other landscape curb shop as well. Pricing was near identical which each company. Both seemed good, but the reviews on Smilin' Curbs were way better as was the communication back-n-forth. Ultimately, it was the great reviews that swayed me to Smilin' Curbs...and now I'm an equally happy customer. The project looks amazing, the workers worked their butts off and showed up on time/every day, the cleanup was very well done as if workers hadn't even been in my yard hauling 13 buckets/yards of jumbo black slate, laying weed cloth to ensure I never get weed/grass growing through, setting concrete cleanly, made some professional suggestions that I liked (burying downspouts, joining landscape sections, powerwashing/sealing, etc.). I would put my name on the line with my neighbors and friends recommending Smilin' Curbs (and I don't do that lightly). I'd give 6-stars if it were an option. read more

Smilin' Curbs just completed a large curb installation at my home today (more than 200 feet), and they did very professional work. Not only do the curbs look great, but the Smilin' team took extra care to clean up the site, leaving my yard as manicured as it was when they arrived this morning. The team even swept up around their truck to ensure no materials were left on the street in front of my home...great attention to detail! I have to say...I was not surprised to receive such good service today, as this was the second project I've hired Smilin' for. This was the second time we used Smilin' Curbs. A few years ago we had concrete curb borders put around our backyard flower garden. I originally wrote a 5 star review and am still delighted at the curbing work Shawn did. However, over the past two months since working the project, we had to move a fence to our property line and Shawn has promised on several occasions that he will come back and finish the curbing work. I'm disappointed that he fails to return text messages or phone calls and has so many excuses why he can't come to complete the work. He has already been paid so why return? I texted him yesterday to again come complete the work and cut a trough in one of the curbs because the garden is holding water due to how high the curb is. I've not had a response. If I could get someone else to complete the work, I would. I just don't know if the colors can be matched. It's disappointing because we gave him almost $4,000 for all the work he did. read more

This company does not stand by their work. If you have a issue don't expect them to make it right. My curbing lasted only 5 years the neighbors who used another company looks perfect. Their price is competitive but the quality is poor. Spend a bit more and you may be happy. read more
