After 1 week I didn't get a response back to my voicemail so I called back 8 days later and the lady on the phone was apologetic but pretended like she didn't get a message. Everything is fine and she took my info this time. It took 3 weeks before someone could come give me a quote. They were nice to call the day before I was going to get the quote. I talked to the tech who came out an measured the house. we talked about doing the back lot and he said he needed the survey. I told him it would be a long time before I dug that out and that he would do a multi-quote where the house is one and we could do the lot later. It's been almost 3 weeks since he is coming to my house and no quote was ever sent and no contact was ever made. He even promised me he would email me a phone number and a quote and even promised me he would text me and email address where I can send a copy of the land survey too which she never did that either. So I sat here and waited 3 weeks to find out how much it would cost to have my yard fenced in. Shocking! Nothing, no communications, no quotes, nothing! This is what they did from the get-go, I should have stayed with my instincts and not call them back but I like to give people a fair try as I know it can be tough. Poor customer service, no response, no quote. Hopefully the owner will read this and make some changes. Saddly, my interactions are very typical. These two people I have interacted with I've probably lost my business in this company and I will know steer everybody away from profence.

Every other company told me to get someone else that does that. They thought of everything including redirecting the rainwater from roof downspout out to the lawn where it belongs. Saw the pics on Smilin' Curbs page and looked at one other landscape curb shop as well. Pricing was near identical which each company. Both seemed good, but the reviews on Smilin' Curbs were way better as was the communication back-n-forth. Ultimately, it was the great reviews that swayed me to Smilin' Curbs...and now I'm an equally happy customer. The project looks amazing, the workers worked their butts off and showed up on time/every day, the cleanup was very well done as if workers hadn't even been in my yard hauling 13 buckets/yards of jumbo black slate, laying weed cloth to ensure I never get weed/grass growing through, setting concrete cleanly, made some professional suggestions that I liked (burying downspouts, joining landscape sections, powerwashing/sealing, etc.). The contractor was in constant communication with me, they were always on time, polite, thorough, quick, meticulous, clean, and most importantly, affordable! They completely removed the old fence leaving no screws or other hardware behind (this was important because Waste Management will no longer remove old fencing). After that, they installed my new Covered Pergola. The wooden supports, bracing, and roofing of the pergola are substantial (I'm confident that they will survive storm weather). The smoked colored vinyl/plastic covering cuts enough of the sun that my slider is no longer warm to the touch during the day! Again, the contractors were always on time, polite, thorough, quick, meticulous, clean, and very affordable. I always thought that this fencing and pergolas of this design and quality were beyond my reach financially. I was proven wrong by Viking.
