Time was of the essence and the companies that I was able to speak to were 3-4 weeks out on appointments and would not budge. After numerous attempts at getting as much as a return phone call with most of the other companies, I contacted James (the owner), and not only did he actually answer the phone (unlike many others), he was very accommodating and said he could fit me in the following day. As requested, I sent James pictures of my system and when he arrived, on time I might add, he was able to immediately troubleshoot the problem and change a small part to get my system up and running. Additionally, he fixed a few broken sprinkler heads and made sure all of my system was working properly without draining my wallet. We had a great conversation also and I found him to be honest, fair, and down to earth. Honestly, his simply showing up on time and having phenomenal communication earned him 4 stars alone. He absolutely earned the 5th star for the outstanding performance and fair price. If I could give him 10 stars, he would certainly deserve it! James did what others couldn't or wouldn't do. He has earned my business and will always be recommended to anyone I know who needs his services.

They worked great as a team. I guess there was some confusion about the bill. I had assumed that because the company had my card numbers it would had been automatically billed. I received a call from a staff member about payment. He was kind enough to tell me about a percentage increase when using a credit card and explained how I was able to pay the bill using a different method. They sent me a link and payment was made in the same hour. I just wish I was told about this before, It would had saved a lot of confusion. Next time I will just pay the service guys cash and save an future confusion.

I have many photos of careless work, failure to clean up not only construction debris , but personal items such as cigarettes, lunch containers, water and cola bottles. Also, at the end of everyday there were screws, screening, etc. left in the bottom of the pool. I had asked for a cover for this exact reason-possible rust stains- and was told that the crew is VERY careful and checks everyday. However, nothing such as a shop vac or even a broom was ever brought to the site. My pool person left several pieces of equipment for scooping out the bottom and she changed the filter to run after work hours throughout the night so the workers could see what needed to be taken out on a daily basis. Then there is the final result- obviously, someone from Lafferty measured incorrectly because after 22 years of a straight back cage wall, I now have a slanted one that, in effect, presents an appearance of an uneven slant that is very noticeable. Also, the vertical bars that abutted each side of the raised fountain area are off kilter- one abuts and the other is about 10" off to the right. I will need to have a new pool deck installed; they don't tell you that they will not follow the original vertical locations nor cover them with the new construction. The first inspection failed because there were many areas that needed change to make the cage stronger. A second inspection has not been done. I suppose it's 'looser' in Brevard County than Indian River. HOWEVER, I was emailed today in response to my request to adjust the screen door-huge gaps- that Lafferty will not do anymore work until the final payment is made! A workman told me that Lafferty has been fined several times. I certainly wish I had known that before agreeing to this project, Outwardly, the salesman appears very knowledgeable and promised me that the cage would be the same design but with much better materials. That's what I asked for and the drawings supported that. This company has never understood the concept of trying to make the customer happy. Nor do the owners have much integrity, from what I wrote above to notarizing a document that contained my signature but not in my presence nor with my permission.

( shouldve been my first red flag) the est was on par with the rest, i specified where i did not want my sod bought from, he agreed and came next day. he made a few trips with a pick up with sod on it. ( 2nd red flag) i came out to check a couple of times, there were about 3-4 workers and a woman overseeing them. when they left, the job wasnt finished because he ran out of sod ( 3d red flag) he came next day after noon to finish i noticed many areas with uneven hts of sod, missing sod, yellowed grass, and weird space lines throughout with jig saw lines throughout. now, im not from fla and i did not have any experience with how its supposed to look at installation so i took his word that it was all ok and would " fill in" a week later, after much nurturing, the grass is 60 percent dead looking. i call him to get advice. nothing. 3 wks later, the entire lawn on both sides of my house consisting of holes and bits and pieces ( maybe left overs from anther job?) are more evident and now at 80 percent dead. i call again for the 4th time. no answer no call or text back im running to loews and HD every other day for new sod patches, plugs to fill the holes, remedies, and im out there daily trying to bring back the dead. 4 wks now, still no call backs or answer. i paid them over 4000 cash. for their services and still had trees to plant! dont trust anyone and i should've taken 2 days off of work,watched them like a hawk and demanded the quality work and material that was promised and paid for, but definitely did not get this was a very expensive lesson learned and im considering legal action at this point i hope this post saves even one person from making the same mistake hiring this business, as i did. customers be very wary and do your homework

His hard working crew helped us prepare sandbags before the storm and clear huge amount of debris that the storm left. They arrived on time and brought all of the proper equipment needed including a large trailer to haul away entire downed trees. Before his crew arrived, Angel gave me an advanced estimate so that I knew exactly what the cost would be. I've had Ramos's service for about 6 years or so. He was referred by my friend. My dad sends him monthly checks every beginning of the month as a courtesy and convenience as opposed to being billed after the job. Mr. Ramos would cash the checks, but not schedule any maintenance. He doesn't reply to calls and text messages either, nor request for refund for non services rendered. We even added extra $ as a X-mas bonus, but that went unappreciated. Not very professional and I feel robbed.
