I sent out a message to Ramona's kitchen to see if they would donate anything for our elementary school graduation breakfast event. The amazing owner Carlo responded almost immediately with full support and information on what he would provide. Can I just tell you, not only did Ramona's Kitchen come through in a big way, but the food itself was so delicious! The kids just devoured the chocolate chip cookies! The breakfast sandwiches were fresh, the egg was cooked to perfection and there was so much ham! I frequent Ramona's Kitchen personally but usually for lunch! After tasting these breakfast sandwiches, I will for sure be going for this exact breakfast again! A huge thank you to Ramona's Kitchen for not only their generosity but also for feeding the kids with healthy, tasty and quality food!
Great brunch spot! Cozy atmosphere with open kitchen. Friendly staff. Portion sizes are generous. A bit pricey but worth it. Items we had: Dad's Full Breakfast with Blueberry Pancakes, Morning Frankfurter, Nutella Hot Chocolate and Double Espresso.
Wanted some brunch and with all the brunch spots in Markham, I wanted to try Ramona's kitchen. It was a Sunday, so I kind of expected it to be busy, and since I didn't make any reservations, surprisingly the wait time was about 15-20minutes. We chose to sit inside instead of the outside patio since it was humid and hot. We got a call and got seated right away. Our waiter was friendly and patient. Took our orders right away and got us started with water. I ordered the avocado toast and mr. Tran got the dad breakfast. Took about 20 minutes for our orders to come out and it was nicely presented. I was pretty hungry so devouring my plate was easy. The toast was pretty soggy though, the salad was good and simple; I liked that it didn't leave me feeling heavy. mr. Trans order had a lot on his plate, and it came with either blueberry pancake or strawberry French toast. He opted for the French toast. My toddler didn't like anything on my plate, so she ate off mr. Trans potatoes and mini sausages. It's a nice place for brunch, but nothing spectacular.
I'd never eaten in this plaza before, so when we saw Ramona's from the parking lot, we went inside. We looked around, and the menu on the blackboard did not seem to have the menu items that I had seen online. The employee working figured out that we were in the wrong place and asked if we were looking for Ramona's Kitchen. She told us it was a couple of doors down, inside the plaza. At the correct location, Ramona's Kitchen has a 'patio' section inside the corridor of the plaza. We wandered inside, and a server sat us at a table. There's seating along one wall and towards the back, near the plaza, and an open kitchen along the opposite wall. We got the smoked salmon benedict and the brunch burger (with pancetta). Since we were the only customers at the time, it didn't take our food long to arrive. I'm not sure what it was, but the benny seemed a bit different from others I've had. Maybe it was the Hollandaise. I'm usually not a mixed greens eater, but I enjoyed this one. Perhaps it was the vinaigrette. The brunch burger was amazing. It was way too big for me to just pick up and eat, so I cut it in half first and then dug into it. The crispy pancetta inside was perfection. The tri-coloured home fries were fun and different from what is usually served. Once we had paid and got up to leave, I went to the entrance to the parking lot. We got halted and told to use the entrance inside the plaza. I found that quite strange.
New menus! Which can only mean new items and also increase in prices? Haha. Sad to see that the avocado spinach brie omelette is gone but this time I did a build your own and got mushrooms, spinach and Swiss. It came with the tri coloured fries and toast (white, brown, or rye). The sweet potato one was slightly wet and mushy this time but everything else was delicious. Will be back! Came on a weekday this time and we got one of the last tables inside the mall area. A queue formed shortly after us.
I came here for lunch on a weekday and we were able to get a table for four pretty quickly. This location is small and cozy. We ordered fish and chips, smoked salmon eggs Benedict and mushroom and onion burger. The eggs Benedict were the highlight of the meal! The eggs were cooked perfectly with a runny yolk and the tri-coloured potatoes were delicious. I've ordered for takeout before and had no issues, quality of food is just as good.
Went here for brunch. Great portions, food was great. Nothing to complain about. The service was average. Nothing above the ordinary. The restaurant itself was quite small, nicely lit. Roughly 10 tables but manage to get a seat for 4 with no wait time.
Tiny, local, delicious brunch spot! Came here on a weekend trying to get a table for 7 total (5 adults, 2 kids) and it was a long wait! I understand since it's a super small restaurant, and they don't usually accommodate parties larger than 4-5. So make sure you come here with smaller groups to get a table quickly. Started off with a nutella latte, they don't have soy milk alternatives here but have oat milk. The nutella latte was not too sweet but definitely could have more of an espresso taste to it. My table got dishes to share: Smoked salmon eggs benedict 8/10 Got this one with home fries instead of salad. The hollandaise sauce is heavy so the dishe gets quite heavy quickly. Regardless, I enjoyed this a lot! Poutine 10/10 This poutine was amazing! It came served inside a small tin buck which confused me at first, but it worked! The fries somehow stayed crispy even with all the gravy on top and was piping HOT which I loved! This just meant that the cheese curds were properly melted. Highly recommend getting this to share! Crab cake eggs benedict 7.5/10 It's good! But definitely the heaviest dish there was of all the things we got. The grab cakes are of course fried and topped with a poach egg. Blueberry pancakes 7.5/10 A little bit on the drier side but was a nice sweet touch to share for the table. Looked amazing also! Come for the poutine! Leave with a full stomach!
False advertising, fresh is not fresh. I definitely won't be coming back for the foreseeable future. My girlfriend and I came on a Sunday morning. The wait at 10:30 wasn't that bad, approximately 20 minutes for indoor seating. Ramona's had patio seating available but we felt it was too chilly to enjoy a hot meal outside. The menu offers a large variety of Egg Bennys (including vegetarian options) - we ultimately decided on the Smoked Salmon Benny and Crab Cake Benny with the tri-coloured home fries, alongside a cappuccino and Nutella latte. We were slightly disappointed to find out they weren't serving tri-coloured home fries that day, though not overly upset. I'm sure the taste between normal and tri-coloured is the same, but I wish the servers would've told me as I ordered. Again, not a big issue - but every little bit counts for a customer! No big negative comments for the Smoked Salmon Benny, other than us wishing for a more generous portion of the smoked salmon (i.e. we've definitely seen a larger amount of smoked salmon at some local competitors). The poached egg was done very nicely, deliciously coating the dish with creamy, runny yolk. The Crab Cake Benny, on the other hand, was very upsetting. The dish comes with a poached egg and seasoned shrimp atop the nicely fried "fresh lump crab cake" per the menu description. I knew something tasted off when I had my first bite which was overwhelmingly sweet, almost artificially so. As I broke into the crab cake, to my horror, I recognized the iconic red strands of imitation crab meat. For those unaware, imitation crab meat uses white fish meat to emulate the look of crab meat. It offers no resemblance, in taste nor in value, of the real deal. At $19.99, I would have expected fresh crab meat. I wouldn't have minded smaller, but fresh crab cakes for the price point, but I definitely did not expect to see the cakes using imitation crab meat. Over to the drinks. The cappuccino was made very well. The Nutella latte was equally as delicious, though I wish more care had been given in preparing the drink. As I finished my last sip, I couldn't help but notice a large chunk of undissolved Nutella in my cup. Either fully dissolve the Nutella into the drink prior to serving, or include a spoon so that the customer can mix it thoroughly themselves. Wrapping up the meal, it was quite uncomfortable that I didn't receive some privacy paying on the machine. Not necessarily the most pleasant experience, with the server staring straight into my selection of the preset tipping percentages. If you're coming to Ramona's, stay clear of the Crab Cake Benny. Other menu items may be worth trying, but I won't be a customer again.
First time trying Ramona's on Bayview. Nice space, we were seated within a reasonable timeframe despite it being weekend brunch. Servers were really nice and attentive. The menu has a lot of Benedict options which isn't too common! I tried the schnitzel benedict which reminded me of chicken parm (not a bad thing). They also have an option to spot your regular hollandaise with spicy hollandaise. Would come back to try other dishes.
Food and service both excellent! They serve good quality food with green salad and Tri-colour potatoes with all breakfast dishes! everything's perfectly cooked, staffs are very friendly!! I like this place
I'm in love with breakfast and this place offers great variety of options for breakfast and brunch, all day long. We were asked for our proof of vaccinations upon our arrival and we were asked to choose our table since the restaurant wasn't busy at that time of the day. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave us enough time to order. We ordered "Avocado & Brie Omelette" with ham and "Ramona's Banana Bread & French Toast " with poached egg. Omelette came in with the side of home fries and toast (either white, whole grain or Rye). Banana bread came with sliced banana, walnut, sliced strawberries, chocolate sauce and side of maple syrup. Both were very delicious and we were so full after our meal, lol.

2 other friends and I came to on a Sunday at 11am and this place was packed! We had to wait approx 45 mins for a table. There's a Longo attached to the plaza which the restaurant is in, so you can kill some time there whilst waiting for a table. I ordered a salmon benny with a side salad. Overall, the dish was just decent, but there was nothing special about it. The portion of salad was quite big though! read more

Was finally able to try Ramonas kitchen! Unfortunately they do not take reservations so go early! We went around 10:30AM ish. Sadly, they had our number down wrong on the wait list so we ended up waiting over an hour to get a spot To say that least, I'm not sure if it was worth it. Although this brunch spot does have a lot of options, I would say it's pretty average. read more

Who doesn't love breakfast for dinner? Located in the NE corner of Bayview Ave. and Laureleaf Rd., Ramona's Kitchen has been opened for over 2 years and their quality breakfast and brunch items are worth coming back for. The ingredients they use are fresh, food taste absolutely delicious, and the presentation of the dish is also IG worthy :) I order the Ramona's Brunch Burger ($14.99) with a 6 oz. beef patty, pancetta, and a sunny side up egg! I loved the tri-colour home fries that comes with it - they were very tasty and visually looked amazing! I would order this burger again! Another highlight of my meal was the side of Fried Dill Pickles! They were so friggin' good! The owner was not kidding when he claimed that their fried dill pickles were the best lol. I would come back just for this! My friends had the Banana Nutella Pancakes, and the Strawberry Nutella Brioche French Toast! I would highly recommend the pancakes, and you can add your favourite toppings. You also get a little jar of Nutella on the side when you order items with Nutella (+$2). The milkshakes are one of Ramona's signatures. You have to try the Nutella Milkshake! If you like something sweeter, the Chocolate Brownie Milkshake is like a dessert on its own ^^ Overall, a very satisfying dinner at a Breakfast and Brunch joint! Short review because I think other yelpers covered it pretty well. Great food! Eggs benny was so good with their home potatoes and veggie fries. Big eaters might not find this portion big enough for them but it was perfect for me. My sister had the avocado omelette, it was a bigger portion with toast and home fries. Very nice! Hot water with lemon is $1.99. Even just hot water is $1.99. I wasn't really expecting to pay 1.99 for just hot water. Coffee refills are allowed once. I think it's reasonable. How much caffeine do you need anyways. Service was good but not exceptional. I will come back and I think it's a great alternative to breakfast franchises. They should look into expanding the place next year. Space is a bit tight. read more
I came here from brunch on the recommendation of a friend, who said it was the best brunch in the city. I do not agree that it was the best, but it certainly was yummy. The crab cake eggs benny was fantastic, and I would come back just for this. The crab cake was super crispy and flavourful, and was topped with shrimp (yum), spicy hollandaise (you can get regular, but the spicy was SO good), and a perfectly poached egg. The homefries were super yummy too - there were three types of potatoes (regular, purple and sweet), cut into bit size pieces and deep fried. The blueberry pancakes were disappointing. We barely got any blueberry topping, and the pancakes themselves, though good, were not special. I also was given very little maple syrup, so the pancakes were a bit dry. read more

I love the food here. Service was eh, and the location was even more eh (off a one-way street??? Google failed to warn us), but the food brings up the rating. Their poached eggs were done well, so I was glad for that. I got sausages instead of bacon because I was starving, but my meal really filled me up. I think I got the dad's breakfast or something (I forgot the name). What really stole the show was the tri-coloured potatoes. Seasoned just right, and the mix was an interesting twist on home fries, which makes this place stand out. Usually potatoes make me feel comatose after but the mix made this easy to stomach. Would I recommend? Yes, but make time to wait because this place is small. Also, if you're a Nutella fan, they sell tiny Nutella jars for $2. read more
(Food:) I always enjoy a good brunch place, but find myself always going to the same few ones in Markham. Ramona's Kitchen was a welcome change in location and can easily become one of my new favourite brunch places. The EGGS BENEDICT was all that one could ask for. The English muffin was toasted nicely, eggs poached well and hollandaise was the perfect flavour to top it all off. It also came with tri-coloured home fries which were one of the best home fries I've ever had! They used not only regular potatoes, but also yam, and sweet potatoes. They had a really good crunch to them as well. The CLASSIC PANCAKES were also pretty good. They were light and fluffy buttermilk pancakes where you had the option of adding toppings to it. I opted for plain pancakes and they were pretty satisfying. It is a little bit sweet so early in the morning, but that's just my taste. (Price:) EGGS BENEDICT: $12.99 CLASSIC PANCAKES: $10.99 (Ambience:) I would've given this place a 5 star rating if we didn't have to wait over 30 minutes for a table. And, when we were seated we were in the part of the restaurant that was basically outside. It was Easter Sunday, so I understand. (Comparable:) Eggs Benny at Coras or Alchemy Coffee is always good! Definitely a neighbourhood gem... it was delicious! We came around 1pm on Saturday and had to wait about 45 mins. There are no reservations. To kill two birds with one stone, I went to the bagel shop next dooor to buy some breads and did some shopping at longos. We came back 45 mins and were seated right on time. The server came around and we ordered two drinks and two dishes. My friend had their smoked salmon avocado sandwich and I got the dad's breakfast. Portions were generous but in general the food was amazing!! The pancakes that came on the side were excellent, and the dad's breakfast has a lot of variety. The tricoloures potatoes were great, and the soft poached eggs were cooked to perfection. I had more than enough to pack home and on top of that my friend and I tried the Nutella hot chocolate and milkshake and both were just so delicious. The Nutella wasn't overpoweringly sweet but the flavour was spot on. Definitely recommend to try this place if you have a chance! I'll definitely be back to try more items on that menu read more

RAMONA'S KITCHEN Smoked salmon benny (toasted English muffin, 2 poached eggs, smoked salmon, tri-coloured home fries) $15.99 Challah french toast (french vanilla infused challah bread, with honey butter and maple syrup + strawberries & nutella for $3 each) $17.99 . 2/5 . A while back my friends and I tried the brunch menu @ramonaskitchenca and the plating was so pretty! The smoked salmon benny came with tri-coloured fries - not many restaurants offer this, but it was not good at all. The fries were hard and salty, and the salmon bennys weren't anything special. The challah french toast was super sweet, perfect for dessert! The entire order came all at once, but took quuuite a while. I was so hungry looking at all the other tables get their food . 7355 Bayview Ave . Edit: *in response to the comment from Ramona's Kitchen's business manager* I had written this review a while ago when I tried Ramona's Kitchen for the first time and only recently had the opportunity to post it on Yelp. I admit that I initially mixed up the captions for the dishes I tried, however my review still stands and remains true. It refers to the food featured in the attached pictures. In my review, I was simply stating my honest opinion. Although I had a bad experience, I still tried to focus on the positive aspects of the food. I understand that everyone has different food preferences, but this was my honest opinion. Your comment towards my review as a business manager is extremely unprofessional and rude. Still a great spot for brunch. Delicious moms breakfast and the eggs Benni with the chorizo is still as good. However they did change it... It's not an English muffin but a sweet potato bottom. I do think the previous one was way better as there was more texture. With the sweet potato, everything was more soft. Still good but I miss the bread! Lol read more

Came here for breakfast. Had to enter through the plaza, which I thought was a little strange. You can not enter from the entrance door facing the parking lot. This confused many patrons as I noticed that many attempts were made to enter via this door throughout the morning. The restaurant itself was quite busy for a weekday morning and there was a steady stream of customers. I ordered the eggs benedict with avocado, tomato and a salad and balsamic dressing. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The eggs were runny as requested and all of the veggies were light and fresh. Service was good too. We were checked on to see if we wanted a refill on our tea and coffee and menu options were also explained to us. The only small hitch was we had to wait a long time for our bill. read more

Finally made our way to Ramona's Kitchen after drooling over their crab cake Benny we saw on Instagram! And it was SO worth it! Love the makeshift patio and the staff were amazing! Especially during "these" times! (And a mimosa with fresh orange juice never hurts anybody ) read more
The smoked salmon egg Benny is a solid 5 star. Usually, people will have to go all the way to downtown to find quality egg benny. Ramona's Kitchen, the hollandaise sauce is smooth and not too strong. I like the lighter colour of the hollandaise sauce. The only thing that can use slight improvement is that the staff can ask the diners how they would like the egg Benny done, soft, medium? However, the quality of the food is very consistent. The ambiance is very comfortable and perfect for Sunday brunches. I will keep coming back and will bring my family and friends here! read more
Whoever Ramona is, very well knows how to run a good kitchen. Country road, take me home, to a place I beloooong. I'm not sure if the song fits, but the home and where I belong is definitely here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The quality served on your plate doesn't even matter because the Nutella shake seals the deal for my aching belly after a quick shopping stop at Longo's next door. The deluxe patty melt burger was squished to perfection with the thin sliced tomatoes and pickles and beautifully arranged bed of lettuce which fits perfectly in my mouth, washing it down with some cold coke, followed with a crunchy munch fork full of Caesar salad. The chicken schnitzel sandwich is just so pretty to look at. I took it home for my teen one weekend, plated it with potato chips and pickles with a glass of OJ and I almost lied and said it was homemade because she looked extra pleased with the presentation, she ended up doing my laundry that weekend. The place is idyllic for Sunday brunches as you cozy up beside a cup of organic tea feeling au natural with a barely there makeup after church. Perfect for quiet dates after a jog, because all those calories burned should be replaced with only quality ones that make the heart go boom baroom boom boom. Ramona make me wanna be her, because in her element this kitchen is at its best as the focus on fresh ingredients is noticed and every meal carefully chosen for folks ready for a fun twist on healthy eating without feeling guilty on calorie counting frenzy. Location/Service Along Bayview, north of Steeles. It's in a plaza with a Metro supermarket - plenty of parking available. Inside the restaurant is very modern looking for a brunch place. I like how you see the barista and part of the kitchen on the side. Seating wise is limited - probably fit around 20-25 people. It does get a little busy/crowded during peak hours. Staff overall was friendly and courteous. Food Eggs benedict is always my go-to brunch choice on the menu and this is exactly what I ordered. What's a little different about here is their tri-colored home fries - which is essentially sweet potato, regular potato and I believe yam. I think it's nice to have something new out of the usual set up. The fries weren't to oily either. The eggs benedict itself was to standard - homemade Hollandaise sauce and fresh smoked salmon. Loved the runny poached egg. Portion was also pretty huge for $12.99. I also tried other bits on their menu as I came with a party of 4. Other recommended dishes include Morning Frankfurter (love the sausage!) and Dad's Full Breakfast - both with huge portions that's shareable. This is a very cozy diner that is perfect to come to for brunch or even dinner! Inside, you are able to see the open kitchen and watch the chef make your meals (I like to watch how they make my food). The staff are very friendly, courteous and are patient with whatever questions you might have. There's a good selection of items to choose from, but we opted for their Benedict and omelette. Surprisingly, the food was cooked pretty quickly (10 mins or less), and the portions were pretty big. Our dishes came with side potatoes, and I liked how there was a variety of potatoes cooked which gives the dishes more colour. - Build your own omelette ($13.99): it's like what they said, making your own masterpiece. You can choose up to 3 toppings (I got bacon, mushroom and cheese), and I was surprised how much of everything they used. I've ordered customized omelettes before and most of the time, they were always very cheap with the ingredients; but not here. - Classic egg Benny ($13.99): Egg was perfectly cooked as when you cut into it, the yolk just covers everything up. It wasn't too overcooked and very soft. You can choose what protein to have with the Benedict. I'll definitely come back in the future for more food! read more
I love the decor of this place and the waitresses were all very friendly. There was a stern looking lady who I guess maybe the owner of this place. Anyhow, I ordered the mushroom burger with fries and an apple juice. The burger was absolutely juicy, and we'll season. I don't like the fries so much since it was a little on the dry side. The apple juice was just amazing. it has this floral, honey tone at the background. I wondered why they have added in the juice. The vibe was good with a chill atmosphere with the backdrop saying, "eat well.". This is the place to be if you want a good brunch on a Saturday or Sunday mid-morning. read more

Pretty good brunch place. There are limited seats and it gets busy very quickly. Fortunately we were able to get a spot quickly. There is also plenty of parking available. I thought the food was not bad, though I needed more salt of on eggswich. Overall it was quite average in taste, compared to most places. Although the use of multi-colour potatoes makes the dishes quite visually appealing. I'm a little taken back that they would charge $1.95 for just a cup of hot water, where most places would just offer it free of charge. The prices seem a bit higher than usual, especially since the food is average. I likely will go elsewhere for brunch next time. read more
Went there in our day off on Monday and totally avoided the weekend lineup! The space was still at 80% capacity though. Service was great, food was out of this world. The burger benny blew us away- the beef patty and sausage were fresh, moist and tasty, served on a fresh brioche bun. The schnitzel was also perfectly battered and fried. It was just the right amount of thickness and was not overcooked. They also had great value items such as their big glass of fresh oj for $4.50! read more

Went for brunch and overall, we were satisfied. The menu had quite a few options and I ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict with a side of fries/ spicy hollandaise sauce. Food arrived quickly and it was delicious! I ordered their black coffee too, which comes with one refill. You can see the line cooks as it's an open kitchen/ they're close to the tables. Service was good too. There is a 75 minute seating limit. read more

Just tried Ramona's for the first time after moving close just yesterday. We will definitely be getting this place again. Even right before closing time we had excellent food! We got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich, and Spicy Chicken Poutine and all were amazing! read more

Ramona's is a busy little place. I arrived at 9:05 am on a Saturday morning to meet a friend for brunch and by 9:30 am the place was packed. I had the classic benny with peameal bacon. The benny itself was good but not outstanding and generous amount of hollandaise sauce. The tri-color potato hash was unique, well cooked and not oily. A few pieces of fresh fruits would have brightened the dish up a little more. My friend had the blueberry pancakes which looked very appealing. The coffee was good and service was adequate. read more

Been here a couple of times and came back with a friend who's never been. Was happy to have been able to also sit out in their patio on a gorgeous day. The service however needs a lot of improvement. That or just replace some of your wait staff. I didn't get their names but the best I can describe them is that 2 Asians, 1 male (bigger guy) and 1 female (coloured contacts). Very squirrelly and weren't very attentive. And they always disappeared for some time each time they were about to assist us. This was from the time we arrived until the time we asked for the bill. A colleague of theirs ended up just handing us the bill since the guy disappeared to God knows where. They were tag teaming but their service was still lacking, put together. Honestly seemed like they had something sketchy going on on the side that this wait job was just a decoy. It was just really off. Even when she was taking out order, she was look away into the distance instead of at us. Then she walked away to grab paper to take 2 orders down because it was "too much to remember" - her words. Continued to take down our order but again looking out into the abyss. Anyway, if management is reading this, have a chat with those 2. If it helps, we were there on Friday Sept 10th between 2pm and 4pm. I ordered Dad's Breakfast with brown bread but was given rye instead. I didn't even bother correcting this since the service was already aloof. Other then the countless glitches by the 2 wait staff, the food was good. So kudos to your cooks! I'd love to give 5 stars since the food was still good but the lost stars is due to the poor service. I thought that giving a 15% was already quite generous but I'm not a monster to give $0 tip. But with working for a hospitality industry, I felt the need to provide this feedback. read more

If you are coming for weekend brunch, beware of long wait! Our party of 3 came here at noon on a Saturday and we waited for an hour. The good thing is, while you wait, you can step over to Nash bagel to pick up some freshly baked bagel. The menu is fairly simple with typical dishes such as omelette and egg bennies. The average price around $14 which is quite reasonable. I ordered the egg white frittata but it looked more like just an egg white omelette which I was a bit disappointed however, the taste was quite good. I also like the deep fried root veggie that comes with every dish. That same can't be said for the coffee tho, it wasn't very good, had a very water down taste. read more

Went to Ramona's today with a friend and her less than two year old baby at about close to noon on a Friday. They quickly gave me a table but wouldn't be surprised if there was a wait as this place as it is pretty intimate. When the friend arrived they quickly gave us another table and accommodated for the baby in the high chair. We ended up sitting in the corner in the back (which is actually in the front of the restaurant facing the parking lot). Note: Go around from inside the mall to get into the restaurant. So many people don't read the big giant sign on the door directing people to access the restaurant from the inside of the mall. Can't imagine how so many people missed it in front of us and had to be told to read it and go around from the inside ... I can see this sign from the lot. We had the Hash Brown Eggs which was the first item on the Special Menu list. I can't remember exactly what this dish was called. But Wooowwwwzzeerrrss it was delicious. read more

Great little brunch place that is super popular with the locals For an extra indulgent brunch, the banana bread French toast with bananas and Nutella is a must get! Delish! read more
[LOCATION] - 3/5 This place is located in the indoor plaza beside Longo's Supermarket on Bayview Ave and John Street. There were ample spots in the parking lot. [SERVICE] - 2/5 The host was so rude and kind of ruined my experience. He acted like a bouncer at a bar, but dude, you're not a security guard; you're a host at a brunch restaurant. Luckily, the servers were friendly and accomodating. [DÉCOR] - 4/5 Small, modern, and a cute place for brunch. [QUALITY] - 3/5 Meats were high-quality and claims to be hormone-free. Salmon was a little too salty and fresh. [ORDER] - 3/5 - Classic Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon - $12.99: the eggs benedict were creamy and delicious, but the smoked salmon tasted like defrosted frozen salmon from the supermarket. The rainbow home fries looked really pretty but they could have been a little crispier on the outside. - Dad's Full Breakfast - $16.99: portion was small in comparison with other big breakfasts from other brunch spots, and was pricier than other places as well. Fortunately, the ingredients were high-quality and the bacon & eggs were not overly greasy. [OVERALL] - 3/5 Good for aesthetically pleasing brunch options because they have such picturesque home fries. Other than that, the Full Breakfast was overpriced & not worth the value. Finally came to try this place after seeing the great reviews. It was a Monday morning around 10am and it wasn't busy. The place is quite small so I can imagine how busy it must get on the weekends. I ordered the breakfast bowl and Nutella hot chocolate. I originally wanted a mocha, since I saw that they had espresso based drinks and hot chocolate, but when asked they said they couldn't make one. I might've then just ordered hot water, but their drinks menus on the table listed hot water and lemon for $2. Deciding that would've been a ripoff, I opted for the Nutella hot chocolate. The drink arrived fairly soon. It was nice that it wasn't too sweet and the hint of hazelnut flavour was good. The food took a while longer to arrive, by which time I had almost finished my drink. Maybe they should take that into account and serve the drink later when the food is almost ready so that it doesn't get all cold. The breakfast bowl looked good and very healthy. The salad was fresh, and they served the balsamic dressing in a small container so you could add however much you wanted. The smoked salmon was delicious too, and of good quality compared to many other breakfast places. No fishy taste/smell at all (because I'm very sensitive to the fishy taste). I felt very healthy after eating this dish full of omega fats and oils. Overall I had a great experience here. My only issue is with the price. Although the breakfast bowl was good, I'm not sure it's $18-19 good, considering I can get almost similar ingredients in the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon for $13. And to charge $2 for hot water and lemon seems too much when most places will give it to you for free. And it's not like their service is spectacular to warrant that price. read more

Came here during peak brunch time on a Saturday with one other friend and we were luckily seated right away because we were only a party of two. This place is in the plaza with a Longo's on Bayview and Laureleaf and you enter it from the mall side to reach reception. I had the Banana Bread French Toast and it was a fun twist. The banana bread is moist and tasty and the toppings do just enough not to take away from the banana bread. It was not overly large so I managed to finish it all but was happily satiated by the end of it. Not a big deal, but I kinda wish they used an actual little ramekin or bowl, or even one of those stainless steel cuppies for the maple syrup as opposed to the disposable plastic cuppy. Staff was generally okay and pricing is a bit steep for portion size ($14.99+tax+tip for my French toast) but I guess this is brunch in Toronto and it's 2019. I would come back to try an Eggs Benny and their tricolour fries! read more
