So we put the hats and the boots and enjoyed the horses, the bulls and the ambiance. My friend used to ride horses in her ranch in a Mexico so I was glad to be among aficionados and totally got in the mood. We parked pretty far and walked around 15 minutes to the place. Lots of young people, all very good looking! Maybe I should go often to this type of places and meet a cowboy . The show was great and the presenter was very entertaining. I liked the attendees too, pretty civilized, tons of young people and couples. Very pleasant and nice experience in and out.

It was adorable to see a 6 year old barrel racing! The kids riding the sheep was also entertaining. Lots of vendors from food to merchandise. Plenty to shop for including cowboy hats & clothing. They have a kids zone with inflatables. They also have another separate kids zone with shaded bleachers- separate from general admission. We love the kids zone tickets for the shade, meals included (this year it was Raising Canes), drinks (alcohol also) & face painting. I love that they support the Ronald McDonald house and love that they have someone sing the National Anthem every year. We will be back next year!

We went to the Poway rodeo last month for the first time. This was the first time it was held…read moresince before the Rona. So, I think technically it had almost been 3 years. Anyways, it was ok. I am not a huge rodeo fan but my friend had some extra tickets. The place was way too busy. Because of the years off everyone wanted to go on this Saturday night. Their was not enough seats for everyone and it is open bench seating. The area for the rodeo isn't a big lot and it was very crowded. Overall, too much alcohol, dirt and sponsors for my taste. I get the alcohol and dirt, that's what rodeo's are about. But the sponsors riding out between each event, plus more times, and the lack of seating was no fun. We had seats up high but were so packed in that it wasn't comfortable. I know they were sold out but maybe re-evaluate the numbers on what it takes to be "sold out"

Here & there is on my top 5 favorite coffee spots. Goldfish is a new seafood spot, tried it out yesterday & I loved it. Got a scallop taco & the scallop ceviche. Just be prepared for their hot sauce, felt like I put lip plumper on lol! Some spots moved completely & others were just relocated around the store. All the workers that I have encountered are super nice & helpful no matter how busy it gets. Also I just realized, it is always clean. There's no trash laying around. Love that!

this was the first rodeo i ever attended so my comments are kind of limited, that said, this is the…read morebest rodeo in the world. easy drive from san diego but buy tickets in advance, this sells out! we had a nice chat with a couple while eating our homemade chili, the woman was a barrel racer and the guy was a bronc-rider, both were really nice and explained to us about the rodeo circuit and what they do - there is a cattle call "queen" and "princess" both of whom we thought would be pageant-y and walk out on gowns and wave to the folks - little did we know that they would come tearing out of a gate and demonstrate their insane riding abilities. one of the best parts of cattle call besides the proximity to san diego and the unique opportunity to experience a pretty unique culture is that it is a total family affair - there's good food, a chili cook-off and contest related to the cattle call and the entire community is into it. we can't wait until 2008

You can also park at Ace Parking, which costs around $30-$40. Moonshine Flats is one of the most popular bars in San Diego. I went to the Pacific Beach location before and loved the vibe, so I was excited to check out the downtown spot, especially after hearing so much about it. Luckily, there wasn't a long line on a Saturday around 9 PM, so we got in easily. The space itself was great, spacious, with multiple bars, and really well-decorated. As a college student, though, this wasn't exactly my scene. The crowd seemed older, mostly in the 30-40 age range, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking to hang out with fellow college students. That said, Moonshine Flats is still a fun place to visit and worth checking out for the atmosphere alone.

They played zero country music the entire night. Even worse, the DJ refused to play any country when asked -- at a place that markets itself as a country bar. This food court is surrounded by residential homes. Exterior and interior outlook resembles a warehouse with tall ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. Outside and inside seating are available. Restrooms are outside towards the right side of the building. Lively ambiance is enhanced by a stage where local bands perform. I didn't get a chance to see any performances during my visit. It's indeed a vibrant gem with inviting atmosphere for everyone. Its small handful of tenants from Hawaiian fusion at Shootz to the highly-rated Laotian BBQ at Kra Z Kai to pies and other comfort eats at Slice of Haven to variety of brews on tap at Brew Haven. Though vendors are limited, variety is vast. If you're a food and/or beer enthusiast seeking for an exciting dining adventure, drop on by Rodeo X Food Court and have yourself a wonderful experience. Brew Haven is definitely the place to be -- they have a wide variety of beers, and for non-beer drinkers, the fact that they carry Buzzball and beatbox options is a big plus.The girls behind the bar at Brew Haven were really nice and accommodating, great at recommending drinks, and overall provided excellent customer service, which honestly made the experience even better. The only downside was the limited food options. Inside the market, there were really only two choices: a chicken spot and a pizza place. We went with the pizza, and the pizza itself was really good. Unfortunately, the wings were extremely disappointing -- way overcooked and over-seasoned. Pro tip: there's a Wingstop literally right outside in the same parking lot. I'd recommend grabbing pizza inside and walking over to Wingstop if you're craving wings. Parking was very easy, and overall it was a fun night with great drinks, great music, and good vibes. I'd definitely come back -- just hoping to see more food options in the future.

I got sick to my stomach seeing the way they abused those poor animals this abusive practice has to be made illegal, while the tortured animal is suffering pain on the ground People are clapping and laughing. That's pure evil. After seeing calf roping from the neck and polled the calf twisted the neck flipped up on the air falling and dragged on its back I left immediately, I will send a letter to Congress and animal protection activist this abuse must stop. This is a great event for the whole family. All types of people. All races, real cowboys, city cowboys, and people just there to have a good time. It's even fun to dress up. People are very nice. And no one wants any trouble. Lots of sheriffs. That's ok they keep to them selfs. Mostly you see explorer scouts and they are very nice. There is lots of food to buy. But, bring cash. Even for parking - cash only. To end it was a blast.

Yee haw I went with friends down south county to check out the RMV rodeo had a pretty damn good…read moretime and even saw a couple of my fellow hometown rodeo nuts doing some badass bull riding. My only complaint was that the beer line was way too freaking long and the price for a sip of the suds was way too high. But if you're on the cougar hunt RMV is the place you need to be there are more 40+ something single women and divorcees there than anywhere else on the planet! Our game finished up the rodeo with the catered barbecue event at a friends house had a great time and can't wait to go back again next year.
