Just like someone else commented, too many drunk people, too little seating, and just not worth the parking and entrance fees.

First timer here. 06.07.2026 Sunday…read more I have to say, this place is pretty cool. Many foods to choose from at this location. Lots of Asian eats and a few varieties of La Street Tacos, Italian and Columbian eats. Very warm location. Family orientated. You can feel it when walking around inside. Kids and their parents having a good time. Restrooms is clean and service is friendly. This place also has a bar you can chill and relax. Such mixture and variety of people. I recommend this place. Plenty of eats and sittings for a get together. Plenty of parking but can be crowded at peak times. Good luck on parking. Places similar to Rodeo 39 from experience is LBX in Long Beach, NORTHGATE in Costa Mesa. I recommend to visit and eat! :)

Let's talk about Rodeo 39!…read more This giddy in experience to eat, laugh, listen, look, share, shop, sip and vibe in! A modern public market in the sunny OC city of Stanton, CA about a beat away from Garden Grove... DJ play the title album by Sublime (1996). An abundance of eateries: Tenori, Shoots, Ramen Nori, Phoholic, LA Street Eats, Kra-Pow, Here and There cafe, Chic Now and Blue Bowl to name a few. Plenty of choices for everyone including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free "nom"tions/options. Anything from Thai, Korean, Japanese, French and Mexican cuisine to American, Comfort Food, Dessert, and beyond. Capo Craft Brewing is the best place for beverages of all types, a full bar, mocktail friendly and a great selection of brews as well as guest craft beers, ciders and seltzers. Lots of seating in various places in the form of tables, chairs, benches, bar area seats, loungers and more. It's very open and fun to navigate. Great shops and stores like 2nd Street, Nail Boss, Skin Design Tattoo, WNTD and others. Dog friendly. Family friendly. Free Wi-Fi!! Great event days and nights: trivia, live DJ sets and karaoke nights. Group friendly. Heated outdoor area. Pick up parking for curbside as well, which I haven't seen at a public market before. Restrooms are modern, with hand dryers next to the faucet and soap dispenser very 3-in-1, all sensory based. Parking is there, but can be a bit of a journey on a weekend, it took us a little time to find some when we first arrived. EV spots available. Lots of great spots for a selfie or group shot. We met some many different people outside of our group: other friends celebrating the week, families and some recent college grads we all congratulated :) Go Class of 2026!! Don't forget the best photo opportunity at K Photo Lavie!! Fun props of all sorts to enjoy, including glasses, hats, signs, etc... I do worry about how often they clean these items... but super fun none the less... just be mindful. Open from 11am until 9pm daily, 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays only, however Capo stays open til 11pm on (Friday, Saturday), which is where we ended the night. Such a fun time Fridaying with some of my favorite Yelp peeps and human beings, Sarah, Alyssa, Miori and Gabe. Highly recommend exploring this poppin' public palace! And with friends #LifeIsBetter #RideIntoRodeo39

Love the food from Shootz such as butter katsu chicken. Nice layout with a variety of comfortable and cute seating areas inside and outside. We arrived early, yet many tables were being saved for people who hadn't even arrived, leaving paying customers who arrived early with nowhere to sit. I asked for a manager's assistance and was told there was no policy against saving seats. Although I was told someone would come help at least find 1 seat so I can sit and enjoy dinner and the game at game time, no one ever did. As the evening went on, people brought in lawn chairs, oversized bags from the grocery store with alcohol, and created their own seating areas with little to no oversight. For a heavily promoted event with a large crowd and alcohol being served, I expected visible management and better crowd control. Instead, I was told the manager had taken the day off to watch the game at home. Leadership sets the tone. When there is a lack of structure, people create their own rules. Structure and set rules can create a more orderly environment that may provide a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for everyone. The evening ended with the TV glitching out in the final few minutes of the game crowd started chanting and complaining then a large fight. During the fight a gun was drawn, people panicked, running and pushing to get out. It was a frightening and chaotic situation. I hope Rodeo X uses this as an opportunity to strengthen its leadership, crowd management, and planning for future large events. I genuinely felt bad for the relatively young employees. They were polite and appeared to be doing their best while managing a packed venue and a bar with a 45-minute wait just to order a drink. They shouldn't have been put in that position without experienced leadership and adequate support during such a large, heavily promoted event. Lastly, I want to give a heartfelt shout-out to the Ontario police officers who responded so quickly. They were able to detain the gunman and others involved in the fight. Their swift response brought a sense of calm to a frightening situation and allowed me to leave feeling much safer.

Anyway, this is a fun filled event! Unfortunately, the prices are so high for food, rides, and treats. I'm sure the price is prohibitive for many families. However, you can find deals around town such as purchasing package deals through Costco or buying discounted tickets at Albertsons. Check the website, they do allow you to bring in food and drinks with restrictions. My family loves to enjoy the animals and the art exhibits. It's always a good time in the gaming section as well. I think there is something here for everyone to enjoy. Despite the high prices, there is never a shortage of people at the San Diego County Fair. I like to come on a night where the entertainment includes a band I want to see. On this particular night I enjoyed Night Ranger and Bret Michaels. I was thrilled to find out the concert ticket included my fair admission this year. For the past couple of years you had to pay separately for admission and then the concert.

We attended a concert, so our tickets for admission were included. I always stop by the collections exhibit. It looks like they get smaller every year and I wasn't too impressed with any of the collections. I like the flowers and flower arranging exhibits. The table settings were also pretty cool. The quilts were hard to see this year because they were hung high above everything else. The art exhibit was nice with most of the art for sale. I also enjoyed the inventor section that included detailed drawings and descriptions. Don't forget to stop by the always impressive woodworking section. Our favorite stop was one of the speakeasy bars. The drinks are expensive, but strong. We went to the one on the top of the track. It has a beautiful view of the infield. The infield is packed with kid rides and attractions. You can probably hear the featured concert on the Toyota stage from the speakeasy. We rode the sky tram over the fair, shopped many of the vendors, and sampled foods like the birria Ramen and the giant cheese pretzel. Chicago performed all their hits. It was nice to sit at a table for four where they have table service and no one is standing in front of you. Parking is $25 per vehicle or $20 if you buy it online 24 hours before you attend.
