Shout out to Koala Hauling Local Scripps Ranch business…read more We used Koala Hauling to help move some stuff to the dump that was left over from previous owners at our new house. I was really impressed with the whole experience. They answered right away and were easy to talk to and transparent. They came the next morning to get our stuff The prices were very responsible They used up on time and were out of there quickly. And the person who came was very friendly. Super happy with our experience. We will definitely use them again. And I highly recommend to anyone who needs stuff hauled away !

I had heavy carpet rolls and a lot of large, bulky items on the side yard and in the garage, and they cleared everything out so fast I was genuinely shocked. It's a bit intimidating coming here. You have all walks of life and as a first timer, I had no idea…read morewhat to do because there are no instructions. I just observed and followed others. For the most part, people seem to be in a rush and everyone was working so fast. The first thing you want to do is to get a close parking spot and reverse your car in. Find a trash bin to bring to your car and dump all your recyclables in the bin. Tips: -make sure your aluminum, glass and plastic are separated. It'll save time. -reverse park into the parking stalls -go grab an empty trash can -poor your recyclables into the bin -stand in line, they pour the items in your trash bin into a wire bin, then weigh it, give you a receipt and you redeem it at the window for cash -bring and wear disposable gloves because the trash bins and recyclables are sticky -don't wear your best clothes or shoes. Even the floors are sticky. *You must have your items in the trash bin when you're in line. Otherwise you'll be kicked of line and go to the back. This happened to me because they were out of trash bins. I had to wait for an empty one from someone else. There are other items on the list to recycle. I was able to get $38 with 3 full trash bags of cans, bottles and glass.

Then when one of the tires went flat, a mechanic from another shop came and confirmed that it was because there was a patch that had gone bad. Piva refused to cover the cost of a new tire, charging us $400 to replace their bald tire! This was absolutely ridiculous. Never going to use them again. Stay away!

Beware of how Piva treats loyal, understanding customers!…read more Over a year ago, a delivery driver from PIVA smashed into my car bumper, damaging it. Rather than go through their insurance--which could have hurt the driver's job and reputation--I worked with Jim in good faith to get the repairs done locally, at my cost, to save everyone time and money. PIVA agreed to this approach, and I genuinely thought I was doing the right thing by being flexible and understanding. Fast forward a year: after hearing nothing and getting no reimbursement as agreed, Jim handed the situation over to their insurance, leaving me to deal with endless runarounds and no resolution. My patience was met with complete indifference. Then, after all that hassle, I reached out recently to rent equipment from them again, thinking they'd be considerate of my past flexibility. Instead, I was told they wouldn't even deliver to my address! In a community where everyone tries to look out for each other, I expected better treatment. If you're looking for a company that values loyalty and understanding, you might want to think twice.

When we first moved in, our lives were very hectic and we had a small issue that was a big deal to me. I had to leave town the next day, but still I called them. I was upset and didn't know how it could be resolved while I was gone. They instantly came up with a solution and took care of it right away. They followed up right when they said they would and have been extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. I've only been in the office once, months ago, but I stopped in again recently to ask a question and they instantly said, "ah yes, for unit ..." I'm not sure if they really remember every tenant or if they have some system of identification when you enter the property, but I've been extremely impressed by the customer service and how well this place is run!
