One of the best tinting places I've been since I've been here in El Paso good warranty for the 3m window tint and honest good working people, very friendly and want to make you happy. I had an issue with my passenger side tint after I got it and brought it in they told me it was the window, and I didn't think it was they pulled the tint off and showed me it was the window then continued to put a new one back on after they showed me it was really the window. I don't really do Yelp reviews but this is one of the few places that deserve it. The last photo was the window that was messed up itself, it wasn't the tint it's my window the dark tint just brought out the streaks I never noticed, I did notice they left this writing on the tint after I got home but I can't complain they took the tint off to show me it was actually the window and put new tint right back on for no charge. read more

I arrived without appointment and was greeted like an old friend, expressed my concern regarding the 5 hour wait (I arrived at 11am), and was assured he would assign 2 of his techs to expedite the process. Took in my daughters new Volvo XC-60 to get the windows done. Thinking this was going to be very expensive for the 3M film on her new car i had priced out other highly rated installers in the area and found out Ramirez had a better price with the 3M vs. the competitors who didn't offer 3M. They did offer me an option for a lesser grade film company which was still good at $100 cheaper than 3M but didn't carry the lifetime warranty 3M offered. Best part of the warranty was that if I ever encountered a problem and Ramirez went out of business 3M would uphold the warranty at another 3M shop. I liked the fact that they use a plotter which custom cuts the film specifically to your make and model car and they don't cut out the film on your car. Took it in on a Saturday without an appointment and they said it would most likely take 3 hours to complete. They had two installers this Saturday which got the car completed in about 90 minutes. After inspecting the car this was one of the cleanest tint jobs I have seen, even coming from a past tinting installer! Knowing that El Paso doesn't have a lot of quality shops with the best film in the business I would highly recommend Ramirez tinting shop to tint your windows. read more

This is my second time I tinted my other car windows with them. Jobs wise they are the best and that's all what I can say. They got high price for tinting and I was kind of upset, so I went a few most reviewed shops to find prices. So what I find out is that if you comparing price you need to compare with same type of tint brands. So far 3M I did not find anyone who does cheaper but only more expensive. Unless you just need some cheap brand to tint your windows. I only can say they are the best in El Paso for luxury cars or SUV's. I am very dissatisfied with this outfit. I called two days ago spoke to a lady about tinting my house windows and asked about mirror tints. She asked out loud to someone and their reply was yes they did. She then asked me to send them a text with picture of windows and dimensions and they would get back to me. Did not hear from them for several days. I called back and the technician I spoke to was unprofessional claiming they didn't get my text yet after some talk he remembered about my request and said he didn't have the mirror tint. I explained someone had verbally said yes before and he said he should know cause he is the technician. I said all I want is a quote. Can he do the job yes or no. He then said, no he cant and don't bother calling back. I couldn't rate them any lower than 1 star but I would if I could!!! read more

Best window tint in El Paso. They use 3M window film which is the best and has a lifetime warranty. It cost twice as much as other window films but you get what you pay for. They did my BMW X5 and it looks amazing. They also do a front window film that keeps the heat out of your car. read more

So we've had this annoying after-market k9 alarm on our Ford since we've bought it in January. The alarm is faulty and goes off on its own and all kinds of other crazy stuff. I was desperate and was disconnecting the battery every night to avoid being the annoying neighbor. I wanted to do it myself but the wiring everywhere and if I messed it up the car would be dead. The local Ford dealership wouldn't touch it, so I decided to roll the dice. Called this place up to see if he could remove it and he was all like "no problem". He removed it for cheap on a Saturday morning with no issues ($45), this guy (Ramirez) was totally chill. Everything worked out and we're happy the the alarm is gone forever. Side note: he backed into our other car a little bit when we were pulled in to pick up the Ford... no damage so no problem.. so if he's in front driving.. look out! I called for a price quote on my 4runner he asked for the year of the vehicle and what was going to be done. I told him all windows even sunroof he was going to charge me 299 for 3m. I showed up in person and he told me he doesn't ever change prices like most places do. Then he gave me a quote for 399. A week later to make sure I called him again and told him the same year of vehicle but did not tell him who I was and he gave me a quote for my 4runner for 499. I did the same thing with Platinum Tint and the price never changed. Plus Johnathan did a great job in explaining the tint industry. He told me 3m is a great company but got behind in their technology with tint. Other companies saw an opportunity and got just as good if not better. I verified this on youtube and heard the same from alot of other 3m reviewers and Tinters. I will never trust Ramirez Tinting & Alarms with any work I get done he seams very shady. read more
