Got a few quotes, but NOTHING compared to the competitive pricing One Stop offered. Not to mention, their reviews were excellent and customer service from start to finish, on the phone and in-person was top notch. We were sold! Don't get me wrong, I don't wanna come back haha...but if I need to or know anyone else who needs to, I'm recommending these guys! They look up your VIN and can give you an estimate quickly without even bringing in your vehicle. They ask for a down payment upon scheduling your appointment. I hear they take walk-ins and same day for folks with smaller repairs. We needed our entire windshield repaired, so there's that. Since our vehicle was newer and has some tech features, it also needed to be recalibrated which can get cost. Easy peasy for these guys! Our vehicle was ready sooner than the estimated time too! Immediately afterward, I discovered that my car alarm was no longer working. I had never experienced any issues with it before, and the problem occurred after the windshield replacement. When I returned right away, I explained what had happened and asked them to take responsibility. Instead, they denied causing the damage and told me I would have to take the vehicle to an alarm shop to have it fixed. What frustrated me most was the complete lack of accountability. I explained that the issue had never existed before and that I believed it happened when the alarm was handled, but my concerns were dismissed. Now I'm left with another problem and an additional expense that could have been avoided if they had simply taken responsibility and addressed the issue. PLEASE be very careful when choosing this business. If something goes wrong during your service, don't expect them to take responsibility for the damage. DON'T GO THERE.

Stone Chips Made Invisible!…read more After getting a nasty stone chip in my windshield while driving through a construction area, I realized that I had to get it repaired immediately or take the risk that it would propagate into a major crack for which the only recourse would be a windshield replacement. I went on-line to search for auto glass repair businesses in my area. The results were dismal. One well-known national chain store quoted an obscene price that was more than three times what I'd paid in the past for similar repairs. Another major national chain store told me they no longer did windshield repairs, despite the fact that their website clearly listed that as one of their services. A third local shop had done poor work for me in the past, and they'll never get my business again. Finally, I stumbled upon Optic-Kleer, a mobile glass repair and replacement franchise, and decided to give it a try. Importantly, owner John Nichols was able to slot my repair into his schedule within a few hours of when I called. I was impressed with his courtesy and communication skills from the moment I first talked with him on the phone. We set up an appointment, he called shortly before he arrived and he showed up on time--a rarity among El Paso businesses. He assessed the stone chip and went to work in a meticulous, professional manner, explaining every step of the process as I watched with intense interest. He was knowledgeable, courteous and well organized. Best of all, John's ministrations rendered the horrible stone chip "star" that defaced my windshield nearly unnoticeable; a tiny, pale white dot is all that remains of it, and you have to know exactly where to look in order to see it. I'm extremely satisfied with John's repair. It's an example of the type of quality work that's only possible when done by competent, skilled professionals who care about customer service.
