So I reached out to Ultimate gutter and I am so glad I did. Yan and his helper did such a wonderful job on my home and garage. Their prices are a little more fair and he didn't try to upsell me on stuff I don't really need like that other company I called. The gutters look so much more custom fit for my home than my old gutters. They really know what they are doing. Plus the 10 year warranty is so nice for peace of mind. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I found Yan through Yelp--and the positive reviews were spot on. Yan is extremely professional and clearly experienced. He has a background working with larger gutter companies, and it shows--he knows exactly what he's doing. Yan and his team installed the new gutters on the coldest day of the season, yet they still worked quickly and efficiently. From the very first interaction, communication with Yan was seamless. He came out promptly, provided a clear estimate, used high-quality materials, and made excellent recommendations on gutter pitch and downspout placement. His work is also backed by a warranty, which gives great peace of mind. His pricing was very competitive compared to larger national companies--and the quality is just as good, if not better. If you're looking for new gutters, Yan is your guy. Thank you, Yan! I

Truly exceptional, above and beyond: excellent communication, workmanship, and timeliness. A…read moretotally different dynamic than the typical contractor experience. Derrick helped me navigate a very challenging situation to rebuild the entire back wall of my home and attached deck due to water damage. Scope: New insulation, plywood sheathing, composite siding, soffit, and fascia for back wall. Replaced rim joist, headers, and other structural wood as needed from water damage. Re-installed windows and sliding glass door incorrectly installed by previous contractor. Rebuilt pressure treated wood deck with improved layout. Derrick's attention to detail and pride in his work translated to a solution that addressed all of my goals and helped me understand mistakes made by previous contractors. He spent hours reviewing options and brainstorming with me as more damage was uncovered and the scope had to expand as we went. Overall, could not be happier with my experience and would highly recommend.

The crew was friendly and courteous, but unfortunately, the quality of the cleanup was disappointing, both in removing debris around the house and in disposing of leaves collected from the gutters. One plastic bag of debris was left in a corner of my garden, and another was placed in my yard-waste bin, which I had to remove myself because Evanston does not accept yard waste in plastic bags. After I contacted Tim to express my concerns, he apologized and promptly sent a crew back to redo the cleanup. I was very pleased with his response and his commitment to customer service. Tim was responsive to my phone calls and returned my messages quickly. I appreciate the way he addressed my concerns, and I look forward to using Guaranteed Gutters again.

Cameras covering the yard and property show the crew was here for roughly 14 minutes total, including unloading and reloading their truck. Despite that, they claimed they completed the entire job, including cleaning all three downspouts and going through our neighbor's yard to access and clean that side of the house. They never used a hose to flush or check the downspouts. When I questioned this, they stalled and gave me the runaround for weeks before finally returning. They did work on the downspouts, but still never went through the neighbor's yard, despite originally claiming they had. No photos, no convincing explanation, and weeks of excuses. I would not trust this company to do the work they claim to have done.
