I was extremely impressed with this restaurant. I had very flavorful vegetarian ramen, which was full of veggies and fresh noodles. The server asked if I would like the broth to be spicy and it was made spicy. What a fun new Ramen spot! Another fabulous find through Yelp! On Northpoint Parkway. Modern quicky interior with really great service and delicious food. If you are a fan of Jinya in DT Alpharetta.. give this place a try. I personally think it's much better and has easy parking. My only complaint woukd be that the dining tables are little close together.. I came here today to try this ramen to help cure my hangover. The food amazing and they also have a daily lunch special. I got the side of the fried rice, which was really tasty and fresh. Not too greasy or overly fried. I got the ramen that came with the fried chicken cutlet, and man was it a big portion. My waitress was great and she checked on me several times and continue to fill up my water without having to ask. The decor is super cute. What a hidden gem! Just happened to be shopping in the North Point area around dinner time and decided to grab a burger. When I pulled up to the burger joint I noticed Ramen Spot next door. Jumped on Yelp to do a review and found everyone likes this place. It was close to closing time and we were prepared to be told take out only was being served but, to our surprise they seated us. We ordered beef curry ramen and a beef and broccoli dish along with a appetizer. I must say the food quality and taste was mind blowing! You could taste each ingredient separately but they blended to create a delight to the taste buds. Service was that of a 4-5 star restaurant and food was prepared quickly. I have found a new all time favorite for ramen when in the North Point area. In fact, it's so good I will travel out of my way to go there again. This is a private franchise, this location being the second of two. The other and first is near the UVA college. My advice, celebrate your taste buds and go there! read more

The packaging of the takeout was very well planned out and the containers were not the flimsy quality- very important as the soup was hot!. The HOT SOUP base was very HOT and on the side, away from the COLD noodles and tonkatsu meat and seaweed and other vegetables ! I heated just the soup base when I got home and added the noodle first, thus not over cooking the noodles. It needed jut 30 sec more of microwaving . Then I added the other ingredients. I was excited to try this place because of all the positive reviews. The interior design does not disappoint. The aesthetic is cute and I love all the Japanese style decorations (lanterns, noren curtains, art drawn on the walls). Service is great and all of the waiters are friendly. The dishes are also reasonably priced. I ordered the Tako Yaki, Cha-shu Ramen (Tonkatsu Ramen), and Shoyu Ramen. The food came out fast, but that's when my expectations came crashing down. First was the takoyaki. Not only were these the SMALLEST takoyaki I've ever had, but it also only came with 5 balls. For $6, I was expecting 6 but nope, all I got were 5 tiny tiny takoyaki balls. It wasn't all bad, the flavor was still there, the takoyaki was piping hot, but the octopus was slightly chewier than I would've liked. Would I get it again? No, absolutely not. Definitely not worth the price. Now comes the point in my review where I express my major disappointment - the ramen. Ramen presentation was okay, the toppings were mid, the chashu was mediocre and the broth was a sham. To start, they ask you what spice level you want your ramen, the least spicy being mild, then medium then super spicy. I already found it strange that they don't have a regular option without any spiciness, but after trying the broth I kind of understand why they make it spicy. The spicy oil they add feels like it's there to mask the fact that the broth itself has no flavor. I always get tonkatsu the first time I visit a ramen shop for comparison sake. This place has the most watery tonkatsu broth out of all the places I've been to in Georgia. It is not rich or flavorful at all, and just tastes like spiced up salty water. The shoyu has the same issue where it just tastes spicy. The ramen came with 3 slices of big, thick chashu. In this case, more was NOT better, the chashu was too thick, under seasoned, dry and tough to eat. I honestly couldn't have more than five bites of my ramen before I put down my chopsticks and called it a day. This place has only been open for 2 months (since January 2023) and has a lot of potential, but right now the flavor is lacking. I think it's important to make this transparent since none of the other reviews really talk about this, even though this is a restaurant and the food should be the highlight. Hopefully they work on improving the taste and quality, because right now the service is this place's only saving grace. read more

Met a friend for lunch. Both had a Ramen dish. Used to work in Decatur and you can't throw a rock without hitting a Pho or Ramen place - there are some great places in that area of town. I would definitely rate this as just average. Food was ok but not great with the flavor of the broth weak. Service was good and noise level was low.
