Good food, good fast service…read more Inside was like a sit down Asian restaurant, a little fancier than your typical take out Hawaiian plate lunch place, but nice to sit and eat. Food was super fast- was ready within 10-15 minutes for a whole family meal. Excellent kalbi (+4$) Chicken Katsu was good, no complaints Kalua pork was a little dry- could use more improvement, more moistness, more smoke.. Service was fast and had children seats and boosters, shoyu, sriracha, chili oil, no tobasco but great chili oil. Bathrooms were very clean and nice.

She was also very rude and seemed like she was avoiding our table for most of the time we were there. It took a long time for her to come back and take our order even though we were the only ones there at the time. When my friend asked for a refill, she only brought my friend water even though my cup was also low. I then asked her to refill both of our cups, but she barely filled mine halfway and didn't even give my friend a full refill. It honestly sucks being the ONLY table who gets treated unfairly, especially when we were nothing but respectful to her. Overall, the service was extremely disappointing and made me and my friends experience uncomfortable.

That flavorful broth, those delicious seafood bites, and the comforting taste that keeps us coming back for more. And yes, the sushi is just as amazing! We've been coming here since 2021, and Misaka remains one of our favorite sushi spots around Brentwood. Why experiment when your favorites never disappoint? If you're around Brentwood and craving sushi or a comforting bowl of ramen, Misaka Sushi deserves a spot on your list! Another lunch date, another delicious meal, and definitely more visits to come!

We got to the restaurant before the dinner rush before 7ish on a Friday. The place was packed. Luckily my husband was able to find a spot at the bar because we were on the wait list and we would have waited longer than 35mins. Only thing is that the soda was flat from the machine so I had to get water. Other than that the service was good, bartender was quick and always checking if we were taken care of when there was a big rush during dinner. We will come back another time other than a Friday.

The portion was good, but the main star of the show: the "braised beef" was hard, dry and tough. Truly, almost inedible. I sampled a takoyaki from the group's shared apps and that was pretty good. Service was painfully slow and they boxed my poor nephew's chicken teriyaki order to go. Not sure how that happened? Anyways, after the four of us were halfway done with the meal, we flagged someone down and they brought him the to go order to eat in house.

As with these type of noodle soup, the star should be their brother but sadly their house special broth lacks the depth of flavor you would expect from slow simmered soup with beef bones, herbs and spices. The noodles, eggs and beef was cooked well. The fried tofu was huge portions and nice starter. One good touch this restaurant does is you can order a side order of BBQ short rib and chicken and both does not disappoint; well marinated and cooked well. The vegetable tempura was a bit over fried. For drinks, I opted for a fruit tea with 50% sugar which was refreshing for a hot day. Staff here was friendly and food came out quickly. If you're expecting a good hearty bowl of noodle soup you may be disappointed, but there's always their other rice plate option and fruit/milk tea you can enjoy.

I've been coming to this Japanese restaurant ever since high school. My son is graduating high…read moreschool tomorrow so I decided to bring him here before his last day of school. The first thing my son said when he walked in was " Dad, I like interior design and feel of the place". The atmosphere and environment was cozy with a Japanese vibe. You can tell this is a mom and Pop family establishment. The lady that took our order is very nice and provided good service. This is the same lady working when I came here during my high school days in the 90's. My son ordered tonkatsu a deep fried pork fillet and I ordered a dish called Kinoko which is chicken and mushrooms in a sweet garlic sauce. Our entrees also came with house salad & miso soup. We also ordered California roll & tapi maki which is salmon. The owner lady frequently checked on us, polite, and always came back to fill our waters. My son especially likes the sushi bar because we can see the chef roll the sushis from all the fresh ingredients. He definitely has skills. The portion size was decent and the food quality and flavors made up for that. Absolute WIN coming here! We will definitely come back and hopefully be regulars. I highly recommend coming here with family and friends. Thanks

Decided to try this place for sushi since I was craving so much for sushi in my first trimester…read more I tried to refrain from eating sushi since I know it risky to have during pregnancy, so I stuck with the basic cali roll. The first bite was fulfilling that craving until my partner was asking me what's in it. As I was picking up the next sushi, it slightly came apart and dropped from the chopstick. That's when I seen something off and opened the seaweed to see a molded avocado! Ugh, we drove back and the place was quiet with 2 customers dining. I didn't want to make a scene but the lady kept trying to gaslight me that it was okay and she couldn't refund our money. I had to raise my voice to explain that it's mold and I don't want it. I accepted for it to be remade and I watched the man make it. She said next time I have to ask for a green avocado. Huh? That's the first and last time for us.

And now I've officially missed my 23:00 PM MST appointment with Amazon GRY3 in Phoenix Arizona. That being said, I've been wanting to come back to this Taiwanese Shanghai Japanese Fusion Cafe TeaPot since my last visit and Im completely blown away with the comfort food beef brisket potatoes marinade rice. Just like eating at home. Pork Belly Bao was really good although I might add some sesame seed butter paste on there to give it a little more texture and nuttiness. Teas were superb as usual. The owner was here today again and personally barista'ed the drinks. What else...yes tea steeped eggs, these go well with any of the rice dishes. These are the type of cafe Asian / Fusion restaurants we were so used to seeing growing up in Southern California....and even in the early days of Cupertino and Milpitas--- if you remember the days of Tea Station, Ten Rens, class of 302, Life Plaza, and this place just gives off those nostalgic vibes.....obviously the owner of the restaurant being Cute A/F also helps, her happy vibes adds to the peaceful solitaire this place provides. Got a Shanghai Chow Mein for my return trip back to LA. This will be my designated hang spot in the Antioch, Oakley, Brentwood Livermoore area. Other thoughts: they have a new item Shanghainese Wontons, these are handmade by 凱莉 Kelley the owner. My husband's order sat at the window while they were busy getting other stuff for other clients....meanwhile my meal was already served and I waited for his nigiri. My bento box came way before his 2 orders of nigiri did! Final straw...when your prices are already high and then you SUGGEST up to a 25% tip???? That is insane! I feel bad, because I really wanted to support this place…read more The shopping center where it is located is interesting; one side of it is ok, but the side where "Tokyo Ramen & BBQ" is seems to have it's own micro culture. The parking spots near this restaurant are usually half empty and there's typically at least one suspicious car sitting there with some odd-looking activity going on. Not the fault of "Tokyo Ramen & BBQ". I walked in, even though from the outside it looked closed. A woman followed me in (she seemed possibly homeless. Not judging, just painting a picture). When I walked in, none of the tables had ANYTHING on them. And it looked kind of like they were out of business. I saw no employees. I waited. Then, I saw a man appear from behind the counter (he had been bent over doing something and I didn't see him at first). I wanted to try the food, because the reviews seemed pretty good, but I was sensing that I might regret it if I got locked in to this situation... The lady asked, "Are you open?" And the man said, "Yes". I walked straight out and went to a different ramen place for lunch. So, I can't speak to the food quality. But the ambiance was dismal. And, though it's not their fault, the whole scenario of that side shopping center made me think that they won't be around long. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see myself going back...

I think if they had used fresh (raw) garlic, the whole dish could've been much more elevated. But, with that said, I thought that the flavor was just okay. The broth could've been creamier, in my opinion. But the portion was pretty good and generous. I also chose pork belly as my choice of protein, and I thought the pork belly slices (chashu) was pretty good. Price was pretty standard for nowadays. The ambience of the restaurant was not the best. Don't get me wrong, the restaurant was nice and clean, but there was a lot of restaurant-unrelated items that they attempted to hide but they ended up being not quite well hidden, so they were kind of distracting. But the service was nice.
