My parents really liked this place and they're Brooklyn Italians who only eat Italian food so that means it's pretty good.

The food and the staff were really good, our waitress always had our cups full and was very sweet. The food is big portions so don't fill up on appetizers and garlic bread unless you plan on taking home leftovers. They have music softly playing in the background old music mostly frank Sinatra which I personally love. The only thing that I say was bad was my bf ordered a shrimp n crab mean pasta dish n the grab meat was Grey and tasted funky but all the other food was good. Just don't order any seafood at any place that isn't all seafood or it'll look wierd and taste funny. Overall good experience. read more

Seeing all of the mainly positive reviews, my party of three of us ate here for dinner and I can safely recommend you avoid this place unless you are truly looking for a mediocre, at best, Italian place that is stuck in the 1980's.The food is more expensive than most chain places, lower quality than almost every other Italian place I've been to, bland, and prepared/served as if it was the mid 80's. We also had the undue pleasure of having a waitress that just returned from a smoke break and she blew the smoke smell all over our table when she talked. The best Italian food I have ever eaten! I had the baked ziti and it was to die for. You could tell that the sauce was homemade. My mom had the spaghetti with meat sauce and said that it was the best thing she had ever eaten. All dishes come with a garden salad (very tasty) and fresh garlic bread. One of the things I regret about my visit here is not taking any pics. However I was with new people and didn't want to be "that girl" taking pictures of her food. Anywho, after 2 failed attempts of trying to find a table at an Italian restaurant, we stumbled upon this place and what a lucky stumbling it was. This place is a real deal Italian restaurant. I mean, I could barely understand the waitress when she talked to us, so right then my expectations went up. Let's talk about the decor for a second... dated. I mean, really old. I noticed that being the norm in the restaurants I visited in Myrtle Beach, but whatevs. The entrees we ordered all came with a salad and unlimited garlic bread, which in my opinion resembled and tasted like the Texas toast from the box. Fortunately the entrees were a different story. They were good. I mean really good. The whole time we were eating everyone kept commenting on how good the food was. I had the lasagna. I have eaten here twice now and I was impressed both times. The food is good and the service is excellent. I have had both the chicken parm and veal parm an both meals were very good. Others in my party had the lasagna, baked ziti, and the spaghetti. All said their meals were very good. We haven't had to wait either time which seemed a little worrisome but it was a good experience both times. Great little family restaurant. read more

We got two basic spaghetti and marinara dishes and they were just okay. The sauce needed some spice or flavor because it wasn't much. The atmosphere was really great and it's been open for about 30 years, so it seems authentic. However, the prices (we got the least expensive item and still paid $11 & $14 respectively, as my parents split their plate and they charged $3 to do that). I thought it was nothing too special but perhaps they specialize in Pizza or veal or something more expensive on their menu. read more

I had dinner here one night while working at the coast. It was good authentic Italian food. It reminded me of Italian restaurants I used to visit as a kid. I'm assuming this place has been here for a while. I got the chicken parmesan with spaghetti! You get a lot of food. I could barely finish and I can eat, but it was a little pricy (but isn't everything at the beach?). The food did taste authentic. My meal was $20, not including my tip. I may go back, but probably for work...it would be pricy for my entire family, so, I'd probably go somewhere more affordable as $80 would be kind of high for Italian. read more

My first time here. Service was great, prompt and friendly. I had calamari and veal picatta. Both were delicious. The veal picatta dinner portions were not huge, but enough for me, may not be enough for a man with a hearty appetite. The calamari was a generous portion. Drinks were good. Prices are average. Amazing food, amazing service. 14 people in our party and no one in our group had a complaint. I had the seafood Alfredo myself and it was so creamy, the shrimp, scallops and mussels so well cooked. We all really enjoyed the fresh hot garlic bread! I ordered lasagna. Average size portion. Its was not bad. Not great either. The kids fot fettuccine alfredo and spaghetti with meat sauce. They enjoyed it. My husband got chicken alfredo. Large portion. He ate it all. He has no complaints. He days good not great. We arrived at 5:30. It was not busy. Service was average. You can always depend on Ramando's for a great meal in Myrtle Beach. I started coming here with my parents in the mid 90's and now my wife and I come here every time we are in Myrtle. After reading some good reviews, i was really looking forward to a good meal. But I was quite disappointed from the start.... The bread was rock hard, don't get me wrong, i love a nice crispy crust, but it was rock hard all the way through. For the entrée, i had shrimp, which were well cooked but they tasted like they had been washed in a bath of bleach! But it wasn't all bad, The Pasta was "Al dente", and the servers were very polite and accommodating. read more

Had the Hawaiian Pizza, to share with my youngest daughter at her request. It was very good, wish I had gotten a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza with the other 1/2 being sausage and peppers as I believe it would be phenomenal based on the Hawaiian. Wife and oldest daughter had the manicotti, as great. read more

I know this is listed as an Italian restaurant but has so much more. Of course all of their italian offerings are delicious. The mushroom caps are to die for. Great appetizer. But the star of the show as far as I'm concerned are their steaks. My wife had the filet and I had the ribeye. They were prepared perfectly and so very tender and juicy. Each time we vacation in Myrtle Beach we have to come here at least once. Real deal italian food. 5 of us came for dinner a few weeks ago. I had the chicken parm/spaghetti, kids had fettucini alfredo and fiance had steak and spaghetti. All excellent food. Can't go wrong with this place if you're looking for some good pasta. Last minute excursion with the family to Myrtle Beach, SC this past weekend and loved this restaurant. I ordered the Italian sausage with penne pasta dish, son had pepperoni pizza, wife and daughter had Greek salads. The Italian sausage dish I had was lovely in every aspect. Onions, red and green peppers lightly grilled before they were put in the perfect red marinara sauce. Sons pizza was made with fresh, and I mean fresh pepperoni. The pepperonis were soft and not chewy like most restaurants. The salads were very nice, tons of feta cheese and black olives with the right amount of oil. The only drawback was the Italian bread provided, was a bit over done and too buttery. Prices were great across the menu. A come back place for me at MB! read more
