I got a Cuban which was pretty good (but not as good as one I had in Florida). You can add ingredients like at Subway to the recipes they have. They have several bread options and they cut slices for you, the rye bread I had was nice. Large sandwiches are approx $13. It's a little pricey but it's real food. Just one staff member when I went on a Friday afternoon, they were friendly/cheerful. Not the cheapest option for sandwiches (and we like cheap eats in Winnipeg...) but a nice change to having subs all the time. I'd go here occasionally, take a co-worker, etc. There are a lot of food options at the area so I hope they stay in business.

Placed my order and while talking with the juicer I found out they just opened that day! What's nice about this place is that they bottle their juices. So you can buy more than one and take them to go. They also make smoothies which I am hoping to try next time! The juice I chose was so fresh and delicious! I ordered the salmon poke bowl. It came out to about $15. The portion was relatively small for what I expected. The salmon had a strange type of mayo spice on it. The crunch flakes used were reminiscent of cheap Frito corn chips. Overall I was disappointed. I was looking forward to Hawaii Kai as an alternative to Freshii (also located in the mall), but with it being much more expensive for sub-par quality, I think I will be pass on this in the future and head back to Freshii for their rice bowls (I know this is not an apples to apples comparison). This scores 3 out of 5 mainly because of its location and it being the second spot in Winnipeg to offer Poke.

I've been here a few times now and have consistently ordered the unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks because of the insane value you get. Their house salad has a pretty good vinaigrette sauce. My favourite soup is their chicken gnocchi, but I've had all four choices and liked each of them. Nothing otherworldly, but good enough for what you pay. I like their fresh parmesan that they add to soups and salads. Definitely go plentiful over it. Service has consistently been good here. As long as you accept that this is an American restaurant and not an Italian place, you'll be satisfied with what Olive Garden offers.
