REVIEWING TO HELP OTHERS/AVOID the stress..- I had a birthday party scheduled for a Sunday and with so much going on and wanting to save some money, I decided to place an online Cake order at this location because it was a convenient pick up, well turns out even after getting email confirmation of receiving the order and another one later on accepting the order couple days before the pick up, I felt comfortable that this is going to work out and one less thing to stress about. Well well... Sunday pick up time comes and My uncle (in charge of pick up) calls me to tell me that they don't have any order, no cake, nothing and no explanation on their end either. We showed them the emails and Text we received confirming for this location and they couldn't give an explanation at all. We ran to Gelson's instead because they always have cakes available so we picked some fun Halloween cakes for my kiddos bday party but yup, I wouldn't trust this store at all for any catering orders, bakery or anything. :/

No one to help you lines are very long no customer service at all . Homeless asking for money in front

Fresh produce, watch out for their prices tho

I like shopping at Ralph's, they have really good selections of fresh fruits and veggies. Pricier than most groceries but have better and fresher selections so that's fair enough. I gave them 3 stars because of their digital coupons and buy 5 to get the discounts, it is so confusing especially for boomers like us so most of the time they charge you for the regular price and not the sale price which to me is unfair for us consumers who are not tech savvy. Please make your app easier and don't lead us to false advertising, thank you

The produce and fruit prices here is unbeatable. They always have variety of things on sale specially their top sellers. Let's say cucumbers cost over $2.50 a pound in other markets and here it's almost always 99c a pound. Today I was surprised to see a 10 lbs bag of potatoes for $1.29 now that's crazy. Even though I don't buy non organic potatoes it's a great price for people that do. Apples 79c peaches 1.29 a pound which I stocked up on to freeze once they are ripe. I got bags of cherries for $1.29 a pound. Sweet and juicy cherries. I especially love the bulk section of dried fruits and nuts here. I always buy the dried fruits that are imported from Armenia such as sour plum, peach, apricots, pears and more. Love it They carry a wide selection of imported rice, legumes, pastas, olives etc.... Two isles of bread from pita to lavash to tortillas to ciabatta and more. The deli is amazing but I'm not crazy about the meat department. Customer service is average for a supermarket and finding parking here is always challenging. Overall a great place to shop for food specially for large families that want to save a bit of money.

I was faced with this Rude employee named Martin who tells me flat out that the employees of the store or at least Martin is not about Customer Service or the customers needs. Earlier I had walked by the tangerine booth. I saw that the bin was empty. I went over to Martin and ask him where are the tangerines located he pointed where they were. I looked over and I said the bin was empty and if they can fill it. Non-responsibly he struck his shoulders so I walked over to produce Manager and asked can they bring out fresh tangerines since the bin was empty. He said fine in 10 minutes. I continued with my shopping and 20 minutes later I came in and the bin was still empty so I went over to Martin and as I couldn't find the produce manager, I asked can they fill the bin he says when I get around to it so I walked over, found the produce manager, and I asked for the tangerines to be filled. The produces Manager went and ask Martin to do that. exactly 2 minutes later he walks up to the tangerine bin and tells me why did you go and asked the mgr for Tangerines? I told you I will get to it when I get to it. I told him that I had a doctors appointment that I've been waiting for 20 minutes and I'd like to finish my shopping to which he responded well we don't work around the customers schedule we work whenever we want to. This has left such a bad taste in my mouth and so contrary to my experience in Northridge. I hope the store manger pays attention to Martin and his lack of customer service attitude.

Vendors were in their stalls preparing for the Saturday-Sunday event, but they weren't selling today. So bummed! We looked across the street and saw the sign for Pratunum. Unassuming, so I checked Yelp and asked hubby if we could stop by and see what they had since I've never been to a Thai market and wanted a seasoning packet to make Pad Krapow at home. So glad we stopped in! We received the friendliest greeting from (did he say his name was Tom?) and he couldn't have been more helpful! He didn't have the exact thing I wanted but told me where in East Hollywood I could find it.. and walked me to an aisle to show me alternatives. We had a lovely visit, talked about restaurants, he was telling me how hard it is to find Holy Basil for sale in the SFV but said it's easy to grow and gave me a snipping! I'm pretty excited to start a plant. The store is immaculate. The shelves are neat, and it's well lit. Their prices are so fair, too! I will most definitely return to visit again!

They probably only carry a handful of things or perhaps they were sold out of a lot of things for the holidays, not sure! There was maybe 1 worker up front and a few shoppers who seemed like regulars since they were chatting in Thai with the worker. This spot is located across the Thai Temple and has a very small parking lot. The lot also has a one way in, one way out and some of the spots are marked for certain businesses, especially the market! We picked up a few instant noodles that we still have yet to try but also grabbed some bottled refrigerated drinks. Basically everything here is Thai which was really cool since we rarely see and products from there! Can't wait to try the noodles, the coconut drink we tried was very good but also very much on the sweeter side, but worth trying! IG: @ammysalamii

He literally said in his own words, "You're lucky I didn't ask for your receipt!" Like that's so rude! He also doesn't hide that he is racially profiling us by the way he tries to speak to us to make sure we aren't robbing, in example he asked us if we have tamales or something along the line because we are Hispanic? Good customer service, friendly staff. Security does seem a little underwhelmed, also I get still going after 9PM. I couldn't figure out where and if this location sells tofu at all, not in any of the usual spots you'd find at most grocery stores, but most areas are very stocked up. Clean isles and plenty of room to navigate around. Would pop in again at night, seems like the best - just be mindful on the area.

I picked up a few items tonight, and one item missed the mark. * The Bad -- Hard Rice: The pickled pear baked salmon onigiri had a tough, dry texture. * Food : The package label showed the rice ball was already three days old. * High Price: It cost nearly $7 for stale food that I could not finish. Their prices are high. Head to the Valley's Japanese grocery store like Mitsuwa in Northridge for sushi or a Korean grocery store like Greenland Market in Van Nuys for prepared food made the same day at lower prices. The Good: * The spam musubi was made the same day and tasted fresh. * The butter mochi was delicious. Final Thoughts: I expected fresh food made that morning. Selling three-day-old rice balls at this price is unacceptable. I will not return because they sell items past their prime. I would not buy their sushi based on my experience as it might be old as well.
