If you are in opposition to Racism and racist behavior, I would advise that you NOT SHOP AT THE SEAFOOD COUNTER at Ralph's grocery store at 10901 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA 91604! CRAIG, the fish boy, is the clerk at this Ralph's. He is human garbage and completely racist. I have shopped at this Ralph's for years and usually do not buy seafood from the grocery store. I was unable to get to my usual seafood market, so I attempted to purchase seafood from this store TWICE and have had terrible experiences with this FU acting like we are in the pre-Integration era and he won't serve Black people. If white people don't want to hear about racism and insist on claiming that Black people 'play the race card' when we speak out about it, STOP being racist pricks and you won't have to hear about it. This is isn't rocket science. Craig refused to offer assistance when he CLEARLY saw me standing there waiting. When I walked up, he was completing his help for a customer. No other customers were at the counter. After he helped her, he turned his back and walked away. When the next customer ( a white man) approached, he raced back to the counter and asked if he could help him while he looked defiantly at me. I made eye contact with him to let him know that I knew what he was doing. I did not confront Craig directly, because I didn't want risking him calling the police and me getting shot and killed. I DID report him to the manager of the store who gave me the obligatory lip service. The saddest part of my having experienced this is that FIVE minutes before this, I was in Walgreens and purchased a bottle of ice coffee for a white homeless man who asked me if I would because he had no money. This Ralph's experience makes me feel very reluctant to do things like this out of kindness in the future. Craig will probably always be a fish boy ( or a meth head). Oh well. read more

I am writing to formally report a serious customer service and product integrity concern at Ralphs located at 11001 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA 91604. During my visit, I intended to purchase Tequila 70 Añejo, which was advertised at a sale price of approximately $55 per bottle. Upon inspection, the bottles on display appeared to be previously opened, as they were missing the original plastic safety seal. This raised immediate concerns regarding product authenticity, safety, and compliance. I brought this issue to the attention of the sales associate on duty (identified as Jimmy). Despite my repeated explanations, he insisted that the bottles were unopened and responded in a dismissive and unprofessional manner. I clearly stated multiple times that alcoholic beverages should not be sold without intact manufacturer seals and requested either sealed replacement bottles or an appropriate resolution. Instead of addressing the concern professionally, store security was contacted after I began documenting the issue. This response was unnecessary and escalated the situation rather than resolving a legitimate consumer concern. I initially intended to purchase four bottles, but due to the lack of transparency, poor customer service, and unresolved concerns regarding product integrity, I chose to return all items. As a result of this experience, I have lost confidence in purchasing liquor products from this location. I respectfully request that Ralphs' management and corporate leadership review this matter seriously, as the sale of unsealed alcohol products raises significant consumer protection and potential regulatory issues. I hope appropriate corrective action is taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. read more

A few things: I see all the great reviews but they must be fake.. How could all these people not experience the following: It's always extremely overcrowded. The entire plaza is. Everything is at a premium in this plaza. Parking, and so are the prices. The prices are higher in this Ralphs than other stores around the valley Tight weird parking lot and a lot of super aggressive drivers around. Not to mention that half of the parking lot is always closed off for some stupid reason. The Deli staff,Seafood staff, and Bakery staff are really really accommodating and helpful...... If you are particular when they have what you like it's great but the product inconsistency is an irritation. If you are particular about what you buy and buy very specific things you cannot count on them having it. I've run into this on several occasions. Reason being is because Ralves gets money from companies who buy placement on the shelves. Eye level space is prime time and costs a lot. That's why there is so much brand shuffling and nonsense in there. Yep~ It all comes down to money and bottom line hidden behind bright lights, shiney floors and colorful products. There is severe product inconsistency. Sometimes they have something that you specifically want and regularly buy, Sometimes they do not. It's as simple and stupid as Luck of the draw. There used to be some really great cheeses but some company Murray's came in out of nowhere and hijacked the cheese area with some really great regular brands somehow just disappearing. I will say there are some really really great employees at this location that are very accommodating and helpful. BUT~ Overall....Not worth the hassle and expense. read more

1,2 3rd time I've been targeted by a white haired , white store clerk in the self help check out, i let it go hoping this wouldn't keep happening. As it kept happening every time I shopped there I've felt humiliated thinking is it because of my race or is it because of my disability or maybe he just doesn't like Latinos. He takes away my items from me and personally rings them in . This last time he took away my items and rang them in himself while there were other people scanning there own items without being checked at all . I told him am I being targeted because I'm latino? He said you people dont ring in everything. This is racist and illegal. I feel my civil rights have been violated and that is illegal under Section 51. (Amended by Stats. 2005, Ch. 420, Sec. 3.) Cite as: Cal. Civil Code §51. (a)This section shall be known, and may be cited, as the Unruh Civil Rights Act. (b)All persons within the jurisdiction of this state are free and equal, and no matter what their sex, race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, disability, medical condition, marital status, or sexual orientation are entitled to the full and equal accommodations, advantages, facilities, privileges, or services in all business establishments of every kind whatsoever. This has to stop. Just because of my race or disability doesn't make me less of a person or automatically a "bad hombre", criminal. I will be pursuing this matter further. The latino community needs to know if Kroger co. is condoning this illegal practice of discrimination. I like the location and easy/in out of the parking lot as well as the underground parking structure with elevator access into the store. The store itself is easy enough to navigate and stocks a fair selection (but not a very good organic produce section.) However the staff here, from store management on down, is RUDE RUDE RUDE. I complained to a manager about not being able to get service after 15 minutes at the deli counter and that it appeared that a brand new guy was left there all alone, and he complained back to me that they had bad employees behind the deli counter!! What a jerk! Even the cashier was shocked and told me to call the corporate office when he walked away. I did, but Kroeger's didn't care either. The deli always has an unacceptable wait, there is no help in floral and you have to run around looking for a manager who is rude and doesn't help. They locked up razors and now can never find them in their "razor closet." It's a mess. Managers NEVER greet or talk to customers. And yes, the mustached checkout guy that the other reviewer was talking about is the rudest cashier of them all. I started shopping at Gelson's on Laurel Canyon recently -- what a wonderful change of pace with nice people, and such a clean. large, beautiful store! I'm avoiding Ralph's at all costs now. read more

I'm a big fan of Ralphs grocery stores, and this particular location definitely stands out. It's spacious, with wide aisles and an impressive selection that really puts other Ralphs in my neighborhood to shame. I'm always happy to stop by here. I also took advantage of their restroom, which was relatively clean, though it could definitely use a bit of improvement. On the bright side, Ralphs offers great value with their coupons and discounts, especially if you join their membership program. The app makes it easy to snag those deals at checkout, and the self-checkout lanes are super convenient. I also had a question about some energy drinks, and the staff were incredibly friendly and patient. Special shoutout to Gerald, who went above and beyond to help me out. All in all, this Ralphs location is a solid stop with great selection, friendly service, and plenty of savings. I'll definitely be returning! read more

This Ralph's is one of my favorite. First of all, the location is just perfect, and very convenient because there is both a Nail Garden and a Rite Aid next door. They also have a very good deli section, that is where we get our meat for the week. The Murray's cheese right next to it is good, once in a while they will give out yummy samples. The juice bar is also a nice place to try out ( again, good samples) and nice staff. The produce is fresh, just a little sad that they don't have the pomegranate I like anymore. Dairy section is good, meat section is good, overall, really nice Ralphs. read more

This particular ralphs is very clean. The staff are helpful and they even help elders carry their groceries to the car. They have a bike rack incase u rode ur bike there they will have plenty of places to store your bike. The parking is private and there is an ample amount of it. They do accept credit cards here and they are the only ralphs in studio city. I come here often to get their salad which they charge by the pound. You can add anything you want to your salad and the salad bar is located towards the far right side of ralphs as you enter. Keep up good work ralphs! read more

I don't know why but this store feels like the smallest Ralph's I've ever been too! The parking lot always has solicitors as well! I had a man come up to me and say he was a doctor who ran out of gas but got robbed and needed me to fill his tank! Turned out to be a scam! The man was trying to get his tank filled for free. I went in to the store to tell the staff and they said it wasn't their issue and to just ignore it! The attitude I received when I had a simple request was as if I was the problem and not the scammers in the parking lot. Never coming here again read more

I love this Ralph's, I just wish it would be a little bit cheaper sometimes! Great bakery, everything I tried so fare tasted very good and fresh. I ordered a cake this weekend and it ended up perfect, just the lady at the register did made a mistake with the price, I had to wait 15 minutes to get the price corrected! Bummer! It's very clean, well organized and I love the self checkout registers. They save me time for sure! They do carry more natural, organic products than any other Ralph's around. read more

This is my favorite Ralphs market in the area. The workers are always really nice and willing to help and direct me to where i need to go always. Great Customer service. Only problem they have over here is the parking is always full, but that would be normal for a store like this. This Ralphs has a big parking but it always seems to be full when I go. Along with a bunch of other people fighting for parking space. Customer service is great, fresh food always and small problem with parking! read more

A fairly new Ralph's and it's as big as Coldwater. The layout is quite good too. They're also open 24hrs. That alone gives them a higher rating. The parking is adequate but until the massive Ralph's in Sherman Oaks open, this will probably be the best Ralph's in the local area. They lost a star today due to insufficient lanes open on a Sunday and a very slow cashier. I also felt the aisles were cramped and not as wide as they should be. I'll definitely be back here at some point. read more

I live in the Hollywood area but I was recently in the Studio City area so I decided to pick up some items from Ralph's while I was in the area. I had such a pleasant experience I had to write a review. That may have been the friendliest staff I've ever come across at a grocery store. People were so helpful. Also, I bought a sandwich in the deli that was amazing!! I definitely recommend this Ralph's for Studio City residents and for anyone who is in the area. read more

Been going here for years. I like this location as it is one of the larger stores with more options and selection. I go up and down each aisle and my favorite is the end which is the bakery and place you can get prepared food (buffet style). I used to find that Ralphs was really expensive but compared to Whole Foods it's super cheap. Their organic line is getting larger each year so they are keeping on top of it. No complaints here =) read more

I have to admit the meat here is reasonably priced and I can find many things here that I can find at higher priced markets -- think Gelsons -- but are not as good. Good old Ralphs is still a find. This Ralphs has been around for a long time. It is easy to learn the lay of the land. It always have what I need. I will leave other more expensive stores and come here for things I really need. Excellent value. read more

I mainly visit the store at night and it can get packed between 6 - 8PM. There's a decent selection of fruit and veggies, with organic and Kosher options too. The yogurt aisle always looks like it's been through an apocalyptic rampage, so stock up on that favorite Fage flavor while you can. The best part is that this Ralph's is open 24 hours! read more

Very friendly staff. I know Ralphs is not an ethnic store. I was in the mood for some curry. yep they had it. What made me yelp about this was when I asked a employee on aisle 1 to help me they brought me over to lane 13 I think and asked what kind of curry I was looking for. way to go. read more

Ralph's. it would be easier to pass immigration reform if your job stealing, wage depressing illegals did not run about the produce proving they want to take jobs but are unwilling to learn our language. Tell them is is better for they to learn English than to return to their home country read more

Great Ralphs! Juana is the best! She's friendly, remembers friendly faces, and always has a a smile on her face. I love that this Ralph is starting to carry nicer products! Makes me love this Ralphs even more! Even when I move, I'll continue to come to my friendly neighborhood Ralphs! read more
