This is one of my favorite markets. The store is always clean and well-maintained, and the deli consistently offers a great selection of fresh items. The produce is excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They also have a large pharmacy that is very efficient. I rarely encounter a long wait, and the pharmacy technicians are always knowledgeable and willing to help. Parking is convenient, and even when the store is busy, the checkout lines move quickly. It's been a few years since I was last at this Raley's. I have often missed shopping here, but life changed big time. This store was no longer conveniently located for me or my family. When it comes to grocery shopping, the closer to my house the better. But after shopping at my usual local stores, I came to realize, how much I missed this Raley's in particular! Especially because this place still carries all the items, I just can't find anywhere else! The time came to shop for my dad's preferences for Thanksgiving. After not finding the main things I needed, this Folsom Blvd. Raley's came to mind! I was pleasantly surprised to find they still carried lemon meringue pies, fruit tarts, and 12 packs of RC Cola! Unfortunately, no Vernors! For my sister, they have these delicious frozen Gluten free layered cakes that she can safely indulge in. I also found a number of chocolates and other candies to make a snack platter. Even though most of us are currently suffering through the highest economy ever when it comes to food shopping! I actually felt somewhat OK to give in and splurge above my dismal budget! My drive was a little longer getting there and back home, but I may just make time once in a while to return to this store again in my future! read more

The employees here are lazy as hell . I was shopping a door dash order and ask a clerk if a certain item was in stock and he said if it ain't there we don't have it , like so unprofessional. Do NOT buy the store brand Mountain Trail Mix or the Nob Hill Spinach Dip. This particular trail mix has very dry peanuts. I tried to eat it but cannot get past how dry the nuts are. And the spinach dip is truthfully so salty that it is inedible! I have to throw it away. Save your money and do not buy these items! :( read more

I cannot believe the price difference between raley's and WinCo. Some items are two to three dollars higher at raley's than they are at WinCo. Name brand soups at raley's $5 and at WinCo $2.50 for the exact same thing. I was not a believer WinCo till this year experiencing raley's and experiencing WinCo. I now shop at WinCo. The staff at this Raleys is great no complaints very helpful, but I have noticed after shopping there for 25 years not just that the prices are off the hook, that they're fresh fruit has gone downhill completely and this whole thing that you have to clip a coupon on an app is ridiculous. If you're something extra member, you should get the damn price what if you're 80 years old and you don't clip apps so you just don't get the deal and when you check( keep me logged in )on the app you would think it would keep you logged in, but no! but honestly, the staff is great! read more

Went here yesterday with my mom- haven't been in a long time, used to go here a lot growing up with my grandmother and boy has it changed. Went to the deli first as my mom and I wanted sandwiches, and the gentleman working there (around 5pm) was so rude and just not helpful at all, ended up just walking away, not getting anything. Then went to the self checkout to get a couple groceries and the workers who's supposed to help in the self checkout area, so rude also and not helpful. Our machine kept having issues and obviously something was up with their machines, as the guy next to me was having trouble too. But this worker kept ignoring and not wanting to help any of us. Bought a bag of apples here although I've had no luck with blueberries. Here's what I got and then had to throw out the whole bag. Not one apple was not bruised or spoiled inside. Don't know what the produce guy can do about that. Maybe it's in the not putting then out when fresh. No problems from Safeway or Save Mart. Just this store. read more

I would have rated higher but the clerk at checkout defined my visit. I asked her how her day was going.. fine. After spending $100 at this store Jessica was rude and could have cared less. The young "head clerk"? Was chatting about, came over and said something to her which made her worse. She stepped away from the register and went to the end of the checkout behind the courtesy clerk. I had a question for her and she just nodded when she finally came back. Bi had to sign for my transaction and she just stood there and pointed to the terminal... no thank you.. shoved my receipt at me. I'm sorry but when I get no dialogue or no Thank You it doesn't set well. I chose to come to this store today over another 2... really makes me to not shop here again. Came here today to pick up a prescription. Walking into the store past three homeless persons asking for money, sleeping and one with a very large dog. I didn't even want to go inside. The store was clean and lots of shoppers but I don't think I would ever go back. The groceries are too expensive to expensive and the entrance was a turn off. I can't even imagine coming here when it's dark outside. read more

We go here mostly out of local convenience, the quality of products is pretty good, pricey, but good. Deli is always out of sourdough roll bread, they don't inventory well, often out of stuff. Some of that is supply chain issues not all their fault. However you're supporting a local Sacramento originated chain and that's worth something. read more

The Chinese takeout at Raleys on Folsom blvd is awesome. ( don't know about other locations. ) was into get a few small things after work and passed the Chinese food and wow looked so good. So,,,,,, I asked for the two entre takeout with chow mine , got sweet/ sour pork, and chicken with broccoli. I cannot believe how much food this is!!! And fresh delicious. This feeds me for 2 days!! $9.99 and last time, I got Panda, I spent about $16 for smaller sizes, higher prices. Done with that. I am sticking with this! Men's restrooms are continually dirty. I brought the condition in these pics to employees attention. 3 hours later I went in and the bathrooms had never been cleaned. EVERYTHING in the same place: water, dirt, paper towels and toilet paper all over, feces on toilet seat and wall, open packaging. I mentioned this to a evening shift manager. I called and spoke with general manager a couple days later. Excuses were: we've dealt with this problem for a long time that's why the bathroom doors are locked. Apparently they're NOT dealing with it especially cleanliness and sanitation during a Covid-19 outbreak! A week and a half later I'm in the store again and the restrooms are dirty again at around 10am. I called the store manager, Tad. I asked him why the store restrooms were dirty and neglected AGAIN? His answer: This is an ongoing issue. My response: You have ONGOING staff! I complained to Raley's corporate. I like to come here for the deli items. But I'm always here waaay too long to grab a few slices of salame and cheese! It seems like every worker in the deli is fueled off MOLASSES! They are SO SLOW! Like, I'm sure you guys have wonderful personalities, but I do not wanna hang out with you for 20 minutes. the employees here are rude and lazy. i got some salami that were on sale (have a sale sign of $8.99 & the original price was $12.99). When i did self-check out, it didn't take off the discount of the item so i asked for someone to help but they rudely said it was original price. Then i requested for them to check the sale sign themselves since they didn't believe what i said about the item being on sale and they told me to just buy it with original price... employees are rude and disrespectful. Well, I guess it's time to review the Raleys bakery. I was trying to think of what exactly to say in this review but there's just no easy way around it. My boss had just been promoted and all of the staff wanted to throw him a going away party. We called this place and ordered a cake, thinking that we would have something to surprise him with. Ohhh boy, when we picked up the cake, we could not believe our eyes. It looked as if Hellen Keller had etched out her shakey fingers into the poor cake. My coworkers son could have done a better job, unfortunately. I have included a picture, as I don't feel this is normal for a bakery. I think they just hate us. I love Raley's because it is clean and very organized. Been coming here for over 10 years. College days into adulthood. I feel the groceries or items are priced higher than most grocery stores that I would recommend to go to if you were on a lower income/strict budget, but you can make it work. The store is convenient for me on my way into work and so for any potlucks I'll always grab cookies or cupcakes here. Don't forget the options of cards for bosses day or balloons for birthdays and or flowers as gifts. All employees are super nice and helpful and has a positive attitude. I feel very welcome coming here and they seem fairly happy with their job which is a good thing. They have options for sandwiches such as a deli/café and they have some options for hot foods and their dessert area that can make cakes and they also sell Bagels and fresh bread. I love to come here to get my keto bars and my keto ice cream, but again it's pricier than other places. Prob why less shoppers here. But man Valentine's Day is mayhem here, it's liked the most packed I've ever seen them. I would not recommend buying seafood here as I feel it is extremely overpriced and can probably get the same product somewhere else for a lower cost. I do enjoy their rewards program because every November or maybe it's twice a year I can't remember but you get money back for Raleys dollars to spend so that is a pretty cool concept and sometimes with the coupons they also send you some options for free items and coupons for discounted items to help you save some money or for our products that you purchase throughout the year so I thought that was really cool because it's tailoring to what you actually need and want to buy. The parking lot can feel very sketchy at times because it is next to the $.99 and deal store and there are lots of panhandlers so it is a little disturbing, but I just try my best to be mindful and respectful of everyone and as long as I keep to myself I have felt safe. They remodeled the store and built a wall to cover the second door closest to the $.99 and deal store and that helped alleviate the pressure of panhandlers asking you for money as shoppers enter at the opposing door and you are not exposed to (type ghetto side, no offense). Now I noticed there's always a Sacramento Sheriff's car outside the front entrance and I'm not sure if that is hired help or if something happened but when I go in the store I don't see any incident so it's nice to have that and helps make me feel safer as a shopper. read more

I've always giggled at people who write reviews for grocery stores, gas stations, etc. Yet here I am because yikes, this store is bad. The moment you walk in, you are immediately greeted by the stench of homeless persons, urine, and mildew. It is so strong and follows you throughout the entire store. I've heard many people make comments about the odor as well. The exterior and parking lot are littered with trash. Lots of individuals loitering around parking lot and entrance. I wouldn't go as far as saying it isn't safe, but just be aware of your surroundings is all. Definitely keep all your belongings out of sight. Prices at this store... ridiculously high for no reason. However, I'm giving two stars because there was one female manager(glasses, blonde-ish, shoulder length hair I believe?) who was really sweet to me. It was clear that she does care about her customers. All in all, really surprised this store is even open from the smell alone. It's that bad. read more

When I'm in Stockton, I usually stop by Raley's Mirada, on the way home. At Raley's they have most items needed. The employees are helpful. The bread aisle is often somewhat sparce. Their coffee shop remains closed. It would likely generate more return customers, so they didn't also have to stop elsewhere for a drink on the way home. The Raley's in Lodi has a wonderful coffee shop- seems popular. On Friday- 09/30- I picked up two sandwiches. The bread was noticeably stale though unfortunately that was not noticed for another hour when I reached home. I'll think twice about getting sandwiches there again. How wasn't that noticed by the Deli employee?! Finally, as previously noted, Raleys in Galt has a fantastic asian deli- which is delicious. Wish you would consider that as well. Thanks read more

This store doesn't require patrons to wear masks. A man and his son were not wearing masks in the store. They walked in front of the assistant manager that was on duty Saturday. I know they saw him. I asked them to put on a mask and they refused and ignored me. I told the assistant manager that they should be enforcing the mask requirement and he told me that store workers are not law enforcement or health care workers and they are not going to enforce the mask requirement. That is breaking state regulations for health and safety and needs to be corrected. I will be reporting this to the county health department. Stay away from this store, if they are violating this health and safety regulation, it makes me wonder what other things they are violating as well. read more

I'm embarrassed that I didn't pay attention to her name but the person who helped me with a very stressful issue regarding a prescription couldn't have been kinder, more accommodating, or more efficient. What is going on with this store??! They've been out of stock on many items and the bakery / deli seem like an abandoned ghost town. I know there's a supply chain issue right now and also a shortage of employees but it seems to be just at this Raley's. If you go just a few miles towards Howe to that Raley's it's a completely different experience. Why would their corporate leadership let this particular store fall so behind? It's a staple of our neighborhood and I wish they would take pride in it and give it some love. Stop spending all your budget on shrinkage control. It's not working. They installed a fancy automated gate and I saw a man walk out with a jacket full of items, set the alarm of and nobody blinked an eye. read more
