It's an older Raleys that probably needs an overhaul. Pricing is high, and they have limited selection of premium meats. It's never busy during the times I go, so shopping here is easy. Ambiance feels like you're in a store from 3 decades ago. They have a bakery and they prep some cakes and other deserts. They also have ready to eat food packages. Sometimes they have sales and you can find them on their paper advertisements or on their app/ website. The main reasons why I rated them a 2 star is because their pricing is too high without sales and the overall ambiance of the store seems old. read more

I always order my fresh turkey from Raley's each year for Thanksgiving. You just describe what you'd like in terms of weight and juiciness. Believe me, you may pay a little more, bur you just can't beat a fresh turkey! There is a huge difference in taste and succulence. read more

This store and also the Raleys in Oakley need an over-haul. The produce section in this Brentwood store is awful, as well as the Oakley store. Maybe there isn't enough turnover to provide anything fresh?? It all looks wilted and old. I bought a container of mushrooms and the next day they were all brown. Writing this because we NEED BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. We always get mistreated whenever we go to customer service and this time I've had enough. We go to THIS Raleys for our shopping needs every week, not anymore. I will not support this store unless they make it right! My husband called on Friday and asked if he could have a receipt printed from the night before- he had the time and date of service. The lady on the phone straight up said no. My husband explained how important this receipt is and the lady said let me see what I can do and I'll call you back, NO RETURN CALL! I know you can reprint receipts for one and two at least give a call back. I'm beyond disappointed in this store. Do better Raleys of Sandcreek! THIS store as of lately keeps having expired food, horrible attitudes and not helpful to the customers that are loyal to you. read more

You can get pretty much anything. I sometimes come in the evening when I need to grab something quick, so I love coming here.

Very bad experience with the Bakery. Picked up some cupcakes for my wife's bday and the lady operator# 7140 transaction happened at 8:10:37 were not nice at all. Very rude asking questions and I was very polite and not trying to ruin my day. She was smashing the door of the cupcake when closing and opening. I politely asked if I can get 10 cupcakes instead of 6 then she did all that. Same thing she did when she closed her register adter my payment. Such employees are dragging the good name of a business like Raley's. I'm not wishing her bad things about her employment but need more mamangement to step in and do some customer service trainings. read more

I bought a bouquet of flowers from Raleys and the next day the roses died. I went back the next day to see if I could exchange them as they aren't supposed to die so quickly. Bad and humiliating experience - either they weren't keen on customer service or just lazy. I was told to return the next day when the manager was available. Due to my negative experience the day before, I decided to call first. The manager Noa turned this entire negative experience into a positive one. He was quick to rectify the issue and I left the store happy. I told myself after the first experience that I would not ever return to Raleys due to the poor customer service. I walk to the meat and seafood department at 3:25pm 2/23 looking to pickup some seafood and the guy standing at the counter doesn't say hi, can I help you, you need anything for like 2 minutes . I try to grab his attention and he walks away and goes in back. Guess you don't want to sell food. Thlis is a great store. The store is nice and clean. The people are really friendly. Thay have all kinds of great food.

They always have one checker with a bunch of people standing around doing nothing when there's a long line! They need a self checkout area! I also called them about ordering graduation leis and the florist is gone for a week during peak graduation time. They only have 1 person in floral, and no one to help. What kind of business is this? Horrible management and service. Rather go to Safeway even though it's further. This store needs renovations anyway. read more

Raleys is really a very nice market . . .I wish I could afford to shop there. prices are ridiculous. I go there about once a month to buy a chicken breast from the deli . . .because its always been pretty good chicken . . but last two times, not so much. This is for the floral department! Stopped in to grab flowers at 1330 for my friend's bday. The stars are for the flowers. They are pretty! I walked up to the lady standing in the floral desk area. Stood there for a minute, she finally says with a bit of attitude, "can I help you?" Well since I have flowers in my hands, I wasn't going to ask, where meat was! I told I would like to get fresh cellophane and a ribbon on the flowers. She informed me it was $3 dollars. I said never mind. She said,"that's good, because the person who does that won't be back for 10 minutes!" Good thing I said no! And when did they start charging for cellophane? Keep your attitude, flowers and I will go to Safeway where it's free to rewrap the flowers. Raleys is close to my house but due to crappy attitude and overcharging I won't be back! read more

I really want to like this store. It's really close to my home. It's overpriced and some of the stuff isn't the freshest but it's convenient for me to walk there. I guess my biggest gripe with this store, is that the beer is not the freshest. I'm gonna have to drive the extra mile to Safeway. I bought their premade prime rib dinner for Christmas for $100 at the Antioch store. When I opened it, the meat was definitely not prime rib. It was overcooked and when heated was tough as nails. I spent $100 on a meal that is going to end up being feed to my dogs. Here is a photo of what they sold me. Here is their advertisement. Shout out to Brentwood Police Department, especially CSO Franaschetti!!! You are my hero!!! I left my wallet on the counter at Raley's on Sandcreek. I realized hours after I got home that I had left it. I called the store and they quickly said, nope no wallets turned in. My husband went to the store and was brushed off, with nope no wallets. I called again before I went to bed and same response. I called this morning and was again told a very quick nope no wallets. I called Brentwood police and made a report. Officer Franaschetti went to Raleys and once again their response was , nope no wallets turned in. She persisted and asked again to go look in their safe, and guess what? My wallet!!!! Thank you so much CSO Franaschetti, your persistence paid off. And to Raleys, you've lost our business. We canceled all of our bank cards, credit cards, and ordered a replacement drivers license all because you were too lazy to go look!!! read more

The store itself is nice. BUT, the patrons are from another world! Very much Trump America PATRONS HERE! So if you are a minority, you may encounter some inappropriate comments! My son's soccer team was playing a tournament out in the Brentwood area for Halloween. We decided to stop here to get Water and Ice to put in our Yeti for the team. I stayed in the car with the boys and my hubby ran in. He came out super flustered! He told me of the blatantly disrespectful and borderline racist patrons he encountered! He told me that he had gotten the cases of water. And pulled his cart to the checkout line. As the cashier was ringing up a customer, he had asked if he needed to grab the ice prior to check-out. The cashier said to leave the cart and go grab the ice since she was still ringing up the customer in front of him. So he did as she had asked. When he returned, two white women were complaining about the abandoned cart. The women called him a "foreigner" and said that he was in that lane to check out their butts. Of course my husband isn't one to turn the other cheek since they were being rude. So, several other patrons including the cashier chuckled at his comebacks. My thing is, the cashier said he can leave his cart in her lane. SHE should've spoken up on his behalf as HE was following her directive! read more

Grocery shopping in this store is the most stressful. The lines are always super long, there's never enough staff to check out and they gripe about EVERYTHING- kids in the store, the baggers when there, never stop talking. I only come here out of urgency. read more

I really like this Raley's because it is clean, organized,bright, nice staff and fresh, good produce, it offers free knife sharpening services ( which I haven't used yet though) and it offers a variety of specialty gourmet foods. I like to try different ethnic or gourmet items- even has Phil's coffee. Produce is fresh with great quality unlike Winco or Walmart. Only downside is it is a lot more expensive here- lol maybe because I buy the extra gourmet items since I can't find it elsewhere!? I notice my bill is double or triple other stores. If they brought their prices down to competitive with other local stores then this particular Raley's would be my go-to store! They still bag your groceries and help you out which places like Safeway ( Antioch)doesn't seem to want to bag groceries anymore because the cashier can never find a bagger it seems! During Covid, it seems fairly empty when I go or at least a lot of space between customers so at least during Covid, even though it is expensive, I come here more often to reduce exposure from Covid! I try now to avoid the crowded stores like Safeway's, Walmart, Target or Winco! Also for some reason, I find this store more peaceful when I shop which I like not crazy noisy or busy or alarms sounding off! Staff has always been friendly to me. read more

I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday on Thursday morning 4/21/22 I looked in the bakery book to find a frozen themed birthday cake. I ordered right away so it would be made in time for Saturday morning. I picked up today and they make a completely different cake! The photo wasn't even the same. The bakery told me there wasn't anything they could do and the printer prints what ever photo it wants when they type in the number which makes no sense at all: why would they have a book of cakes to choose from for you to order if it's going to look NOTHING like it? read more

Went grocery shopping about 2 weeks ago. There was a couple that stopped to ask a lady in produce something, she assisted them, but in a manner that I felt was lacking g in courtesy. Unfortunately, I stopped to ask her about some Vegetable products. Since she has her back to me, I said "excuse me, may I ask you something" She turned around and with such disdain she said "what?". I was like never mind. I asked for her supervisor and she said she is not here. I said I did or ask if she was here, I asked for your sup. By then I was livid, I left my basket there with groceries in it and walked out. If you are in customer service, you have to like your job or quit it. I complained, did not do much. The stars just kept falling from the moment I stepped in here. Hungry little me wanted to recapture the lunches that I used to get from their deli oh so many years ago. The lunches I remember are no longer here. I used to get their made fresh daily Cesar Salad in a large container and either Curried Chicken Salad or regular Chicken Salad on top. Then I could mix it all together like a salad shaker. No more Cesar Salad and there was Chicken Salad. Plain, lifeless, spartan, Chicken Salad. I told the woman who was getting it for me about how I used to order it and she said that they stopped doing that a few years ago because sales were down. I asked her if the Chicken Salad was still made from the rotisserie chickens that didn't sell. She said that they have everything shipped in now. She said all of the recipes they used to use got thrown out. I looked down at my sparse little of container of Chicken Salad and realized that it didn't even have the same color. Oh the stars just fell from heaven. The Chicken Salad was terrible. I make better when I'm blackout drunk at 2am in my kitchen. Then I got in the 15 items or less line with my disappointing salad and green tea in a can and had to hear the cashier and a customer have a goddamn high school reunion while the customer wrote out a check. I cant even remember the last time I saw someone write a check in public. Plus being that I was the fourth person in line (besides check writer that makes 5th person in line). You would think another cashier would come over and start helping the rest of us. There were no other lines at any of the registers. This place used to be a five starer all the way, and now its just meh. read more

Clint is the most rude manager any Raley could ever have. I am doing instacart for a customer, and on trying to fix the problem he was extremely rude, walked away from me, and not even tried to acknowledge my problem. This is by far the Best Raley's around. The store is very easy to navigate, just like every other Raley's. The Bakery is great, the cookies that come out of this store is amazing. The store is always well kept and always clean. The aisles are always clean and there are a lot of employees to help. Friendliest employees and always there to help. They do remember things I bought and ask how I liked the products, and they actually care. I love this store. They also have heat sensors around the stores to predict how many cashiers needed at every second of the day which is awesome they always have plenty of registers open.
