When I told the bakery and showed them the photo of the cake in their display, the other bakery gal said come back in 15 minutes. The young lady who works there have a very bad attitude as she is always grumpy. I have to stand and wait 5-10 minutes sometime to get a service as employees are busy with doing stuff in the backroom. Most of the time ingredients are not there. One day they didn't have cucumber and the lady had to go to produce section to pick a cucumber and come. Another day they didn't have my choice of meet which is pastrami and I had to go with roast beef even though it is not my choice. Even today, they didn't have pastrami and the employee had to go inside and bring it. There were no pickle at all today. Service is very poor at this deli. I am a big fan of Safeway sandwiches and I often go to Antioch and Oakley stores. The employees are in those stores are super friendly and the their delis are very clean and organize. I guess I have to pick up my sandwich from Antioch or Oakley before get to work in Discovery Bay.

Was ready to be rung up and the lady that was working (her name started with a L) told me she can…read morehelp me at a machine and then walks away, I didn't realize it was only card because she didn't mention it, then I went to grab a card real quick and a young man went up and scanned his item and I can tell she was irritated by that and made a comment under her breath saying 'that should teach me not to walk away' proceeds to laugh about it then I realized it didn't take cash and she told me that I should have read the sign mind you she made me go to that machine!! She had to ring me up after and I can tell she was embarrassed. I don't know why she made me go to the machine and then makes a rude comment but was so quick to take an older lady at her register. Maybe next time don't force people to go to a machine and assume they will pay with card.

It's not about the money, it's the principal behind it making it right. He also took 2 quarters I had sitting on the machine beside my laundry soap. I'm sure living nearby is nice and convenient, because they seem to boast a lot of fare standard gas stations just can't be expected to stock (probably due to a lack of space...
