An entire full-fledged room, y'all. I was struck by the size, the inventory, and the force of the frost emanating from that beverage blockade. I'm sure living nearby is nice and convenient, because they seem to boast a lot of fare standard gas stations just can't be expected to stock (probably due to a lack of space... This isn't the typical awkward shoebox of a space gas station clerks occupy.) In short, this is one BIG OL' gas station market.

I'm guessing this gas station & food mart has been here longer than that new shopping center down the road. It has lots of room for parking and getting around the single gas island. The island has only 3 pumps, and 1 was out of order. The food mart was very organized and the clerk was nice. I asked if I had to wear a mask inside, and the clerk said no. I guess everyone got their Covid shots, because no one was wearing a mask. Oh well, I'm not the mask police. Nice location, prices are a little high. But that's the price of convenience.

Michael's Market is like a convenience store (c-store), but it's loaded with beer, wine and tobacco items. It has a fountain area and wide variety of snacks and candy. For awhile it was the only neighborhood shop around. But now the Discovery Bay shopping center is right next door. Yes, I saw the Confederate flag. But the clerk was friendly and helpful. I was wearing my work uniform w/ ID. People with jobs usually have money to spend. Michael's Market is a well stocked c-store that can save you a trip down the road to the Safeway shopping center. Shell gas prices were about average for the SF Bay Area. Located on the corner of Discovery Bay Blvd & Riverlake Rd.
