Pretty simple expectations for me for a car wash and gas place. I want to get gas, I want to get a car wash. I pay for the car wash at a busy time and it doesn't print out a receipt which means I have to go inside. I stand in line and tell him what happened. He hands me a receipt and says "don't back up in the car wash because it'll reset the car wash and we don't give refunds on them. Great gas prices, but these clowns always want you to come inside to get the receipt. It gives you the option at the pump but guess what, it never works. Prices listed and what they charge you at the register are different. Literally bought two candies that were located right at the front counter that rang up at a 50% markup. When I brought it to the employees attention they said the candy was in the wrong place. No, there's a picture and a price tag right here. Employee still insisted that the listed price was wrong. I couldn't believe when I pull up to the gas station I saw a woman she was 5'4 probably 130 pounds and she was doing the labor of a man getting dirty taking out garbage even cleaning the garbage can on top of that she was running back and forth to make sure the line in the store wasn't too long her co worker (who is 6ft tall and probably 190 ibs. And was a male by the way ) I'll tell you one thing it's definitely not a man's world anymore and it's pretty amazing to see a woman work this hard and with a smile on her face. This AM/PM is not good. The prices are usually the best in the area, but not worth the headache to wait and get a pump, always packed. Staff are not helpful, I've seen them be unprofessional and rude on many occasions to people. The store isn't clean. I've been coming to this gas station almost weekly for the past 2 years and over the last couple months I've been going across the street to chevron but yesterday I decided to go back to am/pm because chevron had pump issues and let me tell I am happy I met a new employee Brianna she was a so sweet she was cleaning the parking lot when she saw me pull in and saw I'm elderly and as she was at the pump I pulled up to taking the trash out and I couldn't believe it she came up to my car and said are you just getting gas today sir if your paying cash I'll be more then happy to go inside for you and pay it and I'll even come back to pump it for you. I'm 76 years old and all my years in this world no one has ever taken the time to come up to me and ask if they can pay and pump. It was very hot outside and I was very exhausted so I can't express how grateful I was for this woman who noticed my struggle and took the time to help an old man just trying to get some gas. I am so happy this is my home gas station. I just moved in this area at the end of May. I came in to get gas and some snacks the line was all the way out the door I was kind of overwhelmed at first but as soon as I grabbed an icee for my daughter (which we were able to self serve ) I looked up and line was down. The woman behind the counter was Brianna she is amazing and can really multi task while being attentive to guests while getting her job done on top of killing she also took Time to look at my milk and check expiration date it was good but expired in a couple days but she still advised me and since it's only my daughter and I a later date would of been a better buy. It was a great experience and again I highly appreciate employees like her. read more

I absolutely love this gas station. It is the only one that I go to. The Staff there makes you feel like they truly appreciate your business,and they show it. The Store Director is Julie and she is a delight. She knows all of her customers,and she treats all of them like family. There is a new Manager in her store and her name is Tami. She has such a great personality,she makes you feel like a friend,and that is a quality that you rarely find in this day and age.In all,yes it is a convenience store but their service to their Customers rivals Nordstrom. I purchased an express car wash approximately 3 weeks ago when I drove through I saw something didn't look right with the car in front of me. They were still soap suds get the car washed had squirted onto the vehicle tho were now we're being dried onto the vehicle that the driver had not noticed. I pulled straight through and walked into the grocery store mart area to notify the cashier. when I walked in to ask the cashier if I needed to have my receipt in hand she immediately said can't you see I'm helping a customer in fact she repeated it twice. when it was my turn I asked again if I needed to have my receipt in hand to show proof that I purchased the car wash and that it was not working she then said the car wash shouldn't be opened and that it wasn't working she asked me if I wanted a refund or another car wash I said I just wanted a car wash so she printed out a receipt with another code. since then I had driven by there three additional time one time it was closed another time I saw another car drive off with soap studs on it and the third time closed again during regular business hours. Today, I try to redeem my car wash which I had already paid for over a month ago now I'm told that the code is expired. I explain that the car wash has not been working and that it was kicking out soapsuds. The young gentleman tells me that the six dollar car wash is not a very good car wash in general. he offers to give me the eight dollar car wash tells me to pull through. so I pull through and wait in front of the convenience store. He soon comes out and says he spoke to his manager and he cannot authorize the eight dollar car wash, a manager needs to be present, he's sorry and he walks away. My position on this is you shouldn't offer what you can't deliver. I had paid for a car and their unit hasn't operated correctly. Is his their way of cheating folks out of money? Good for getting gas. Nothing else. The people giving positive reviews obviously don't spend enough time in the actual store. Wow, they have a TV to stare at while you fill up your gas: a typical stupid American comment. But what about the inside of the store? The employees? Do you feel comfortable or welcome at this store? I don't. Every time I go into this location, I leave upset. Too many times where I've wanted to scream and cause a scene, but we all know how that turns out. All the employees cower, play victim, and I get put onto youtube under a video titled "crazy customer at Ampm". I have gone in there numerous times with my backpack and no one said a word to me. One day, an employee walking out told me to leave my backpack OUTSIDE the door. I asked her how about inside, and she said no, that it is policy. I looked inside and saw a guy wearing his backpack...what the? So no. I've had my backpack stolen in stupider ways, I am not leaving it outside when a bunch of strangers constantly walk by. And the fact that there was someone inside with a backpack shows you how unaware and clueless they are. Either that, or the employee was messing with me in a non-playful way. I said no thanks and went to the Chevron across the street. But this other instance set it off for me. It literally happened an hour before I started writing this review. I went to this location to get one item. It was just me up at the counter. No one else. There are three registers. One of them had a "register closed" sign on it, so I went to the one next to it. There were 4 women behind the counter. I looked at everyone of them, not one of them would come and serve me. Not one said "Hi". Nothing. Even the head woman there, an older woman with nasty brown long hair and glasses and a condescending attitude, looked at me and did nothing. "We have a register open over here!" I hear and I look over and see a bunch of people walking towards a cashier tucked into the far corner of the counter, a register that they should only use when they are busy, which they weren't. This cashier was one of the women that looked at me. Why didn't she tell me she was open? How do you lock eyes with a customer who is waiting to be served and not tell them that the register they are at is actually closed, even though there is no sign on it saying so? So, once again, I put my item back and went across the street to Chevron. These are only the major instances. There are numerous others that I could mention but won't. Just constant glares, snooty remarks, and very unwelcoming. I understand they have to deal with tough customers all day, but that doesn't give them an excuse to act like their customers. You go into work, you act right. Plain and simple. You want cheap gas? Get it here. You want to feel welcome and like you are a valued customer? Go to the Chevron across the street. read more
