On April 25th I ordered the requisite ingredients from my local BevMo. Shortly after I received both a text and email that my order was ready. Count me impressed, that was prompt! The family had dinner and afterwards I had a few errands to run with the kids that took us by BevMo. Usually a pickup takes all of 2 minutes at BevMo, but today went about as wrong as it could. I walked into BevMo, kids in tow and walked up to the order pickup area. There was one other customer waiting there. After a minute or two a staff member walked up, asked my name, looked at his scanner device, and then walked off. I looked down at my phone and tapped "on my way" for my next stop, a pickup at Target. Over the next few minutes this staff member packed a few to go orders, walked over a few aisles and retrieved a bottle from a locked cabinet for a customer and brought it to the register, walked back and continued to pack pick up order bags. My phone dinged which led me to discover that we had been standing there, me and my two little kids, for about 15 minutes. The staff member walked back to the pickup area, and I said "Excuse me, can you please tell me what is happening here? We've been here for 15 minutes for a pickup order. What's the hold up?" The staff member responded that there were only two people working and I would just have to be patient. "I already have a notification that my order was ready, what exactly am I waiting for?" This is when the staff started to gaslight me, telling me that I was mistaken and arrived too early and I just had to wait. He then stormed off to continue to pack to go orders. He returned, by this time there were 5 or 6 people waiting. The staff member acknowledged a woman who recently walked up and started to work on her pickup order. So I asked "Is anyone running this place? Where is the manager?" The staff member ignored me, but suddenly two staff members who had been wandering around the store arrived in the order pickup area. I asked again and one of the staff said the manager was at lunch. I said "this is ridiculous, I have been standing here for 25 minutes now, this other gentleman was here before me, why are you helping someone who just walked up? Where is my pickup order? My email said it was ready four hours ago." At this point the staff member finished helping the new arrival and walked over to a shelf and pulled a bag with my order in it and brought it over and started working on his tablet. While he was working he looked up at his colleagues and muttered some comment all I caught was "bottles" and "kids" he laughed, I said "excuse me?!" to the staff member who continued to ignore me. His coworker's eyes went big and a look of panic flashed across her face as she looked back and forth between her colleague and myself. At long last, I was given the merchandise and able to leave. All in all, around 25 minutes of some of the rudest treatment I have ever experienced. read more

Awful just awful. There wasn't anyone working the registers. We were 4 deep in line and debated if we should walk out the door. It literally was 10-15 minutes before someone decided to come out and help. And when he did come over, he didn't know how to access the register. Never a cart...used to have 3 now none---except the one they r using inside to stock. (That was a big middle finger to the customer) Today not even a basket. It's so strange that the theme here is please don't buy our products in bulk---we don't want u to have any conveniences. Don't come here if you need help or expect customer service of any kind. No one here is helpful. I was browsing for a gift and a gentleman walks in and is speaking to the customer service representative. The man was explaining that he doesn't know anything about red wine and he needs help finding a good bottle of wine. The customer service representative points and says the red wine is over there as he points down the isle. I was like damn that was helpful. I find a bottle of tequila with a price on the shelf with an additional discount. I go to the register where another customer service representative was on their phone. I can't believe that I haven't written a review for this store. I am quite the regular at this location. They have a great selection of EVERYTHING!! The store is located in Slatten Ranch with a large parking lot. Everytime I go into the store I am always greeted by a staff member. I never make it to far into the store before someone asks me if I need any help. Yes, I usually do need help. I am either trying some new wine, cider or looking for some obscure cooking alcoholic ingredient. I recently went in just planning on buying a small bottle of Calvados for a French Apple Tarte I was making. But, when I went in I thought of other alcoholic beverages that sounded mighty fine. When I was asked what I was looking for I asked for ACE Cider in Pineapple flavor, the staff member walked me right over to where it was located. I then asked if they had any Leinenkugels Summer Shandy which is from Milwaukee and not too easy to find. Well guess what, they had it too. Then I perused the mini bottles to see what my options were, believe it or not they had a mini bottle of Calvados which really reduced the amount of money I was going to spend. But wait, no I was wrong, I then proceeded to buy some Govina recyclable stem less wine glasses. I am always looking for wine glasses that are unbreakable. So not only did I find what I was looking for, I found even more stuff and so as usual I end up spending more than I had planned. There is so much selection here, I could wander the aisles for hours and probably walk away needing a payment plan. The store is clean, well staffed, well mannered employees and a great selection. Thirsty? They may be able to help! There are certain things you just can't get while shopping for food, and that's where BevMo works out for me. I like the persistent display of 90 points wines, as well as a large selection of many wines. The 5 cent sales are a great deal too. They also have a good selection of flavored syrups, such as Torani, in case you wanna make your sodas and coffees vanilla. I don't shop much for spirits but they certain have lots of those and pretty much everything else for mixed drinks. The spinning display of singles is great for travel and trial. It should be noted they also have sodas and waters. Aside from liquids, you can find equipment for kegs and wine openers and on and on. I think I've seen cigars and cheese there too. It just seems like a good place to get personal/party supplies. They have one of those clubs you can get discounts with, but we like to lose the card and forget what we registered. I think Mrs N and I have 2 or 3 accounts by now. The staff is pretty cool and usually check to see that you found what you needed. Best service I ever had. Store manager was on too of it. I'm pretty sure by the way I crouched down at the tequila isle says a lot about my indecisive posture. He noticed right away that I was curious & also torn between two tequila bottles. 1942 & Clase. He then mentioned a newer store purchase of Komos tequila. He did give me a heads up that he had never had it, but thought the bottle was dope. I had to give him that. I'm a sucker for trying new things, so I gave in & bought it as a gift for my brother. THEN! As I was trying to find a nice gift bag for the bottles, he came up & mentioned that he overheard my sister & I talking about wine. Bam! There we were at the red wine isle. Napa Valley Antica Red Wine. I had to get it just for my dad. Sooo, he wanted me to let him know how the tequila tasted. Well, let me tell you... it was exquisite. Smooth & flavorful. During the covid Epidemic I would not recommend ordering online, I got charged before I received the products. When I went to go to pick up I was told what I ordered wasn't in stock. They told me they would call when the order was ready. Later in the day I get an email saying my order was ready. I call before to make sure it's correct, instead I Get put on hold after 10mins I assume I can get there faster than speaking with some one. And I sure did. when I got there they still didn't have any of my products and couldn't let me know why I would get a email telling me my order was ready. At this point I asked for a refund. So went into BevMo with a list! Walking through most of the store was a disaster waiting to happen. I understand people need to stock shelves but the employees did not make an effort to move boxes or themselves out of the way when we were passing down aisles. But the absolute worst part was the Cashier. I'm looking for the receipt to get her name but she was talking on her phone (earbuds) the whole time she was helping us...THE WHOLE TIME!! It threw her off because we were paying with cash and she had to tell her friend to wait. If we had a card to slide we would have had zero interaction with her. And I honestly don't think she knew how to deal with money and give change. If it wasn't so annoying with her on the phone it would have been hilarious fumbling with giving us change. We usually don't go here because they are over priced but we were in a rush and it was the quickest place to get to. My primary reason for giving them 1 star was the customer service. The workers the night I went there were incredibly rude and disrespectful. They made me feel like I was asking dumb questions (laughing at my questions, making gawking faces when I showed them a picture of an alcohol they didn't carry, continuing to talk to each other while I stand next to one of them while clearly waiting to ask a question) I'm not sure if it had to do with my gender, race, age or if these two stock workers are just genuine ass holes or lack social graces. I used to go to BevMo when I lived in California, and we were here for some kegs and beers for my dad's memorial. They BevMo staff were great, and really helpful, getting us the beer we needed, and allowing no-hassle returns of the excess. Staff was friendly and helpful, my only wish is that the selection there were better, it felt like half a store compared to some of the BevMos I used to go to, that or they've pared back their selection as a whole. read more

Online orders were very seriously delayed today, with absolutely no explanation or apology. Walk up customers were being helped prior to online paid orders! While I understand the problems are not necessarily the fault of the employees, they need to put their foot down to their manager and come up with a better plan. I am amazed at the negative reviews. The staff here is amazing! While we were in line on a few occasions we observed so many unreasonably angry customers during Covid but they handled theses customers professionally and as expediently as humanly possible. It was hot outside, the line was incredibly long, and it was evident the staff was doing their best for something they had no control of. Last month I went in and had super service. I had my 8 month old with me and everyone was very helpful. From getting bottles that are on the bottom self, to suggesting other drinks and putting the bags in my cart. This Friday I went in and had the opposite. Again I had my baby with me and not one employee asked if I needed help. I had to go around vendors stalking shelves. When I finally got sick of walking around in circles I asked a cashier what isle the stuff I was looking for was located. She told me where it was and finally after looking for a while I gave up. Went in to buy a large amount of alcohol for a party this weekend and I was hesitant to come here because they are always priced higher than other stores. I found out today that they price match which is amazing because they sell almost all the craft beers and a large variety of wines. It's a one stop shop for alcohol forsure. They also have discounts for blue members. Karen helped me out and she was very patient and helpful. The other employees helped me load my cart, super nice!
