I was not a fan of this place. The ice cream was hard and dry. It was not creamy at all which is really sad considering most people who want ice cream want creamy. The roll idea was pretty good but also very weird to eat. You can literally see in the picture how it was already cracking and crumbling before we even put a spoon in it. Maybe the ice cream was old? Maybe they rolled it too thin? I'm honestly not sure but if you're paying that much for ice cream then it shouldn't be a crumbled mess. I've also never seen an orange colored vanilla. Who knows. Definitely worth the wait in line! This concept of make-your-own ice cream (dairy free or regular base) floored me, and had me thinking about it until I went back the next weekend. The best part for me? They had a dairy free option and it was DELICIOUS!! Creamy, flavorful, and tasted just like regular dairy ice cream. Pick three mix-ins, then pick three toppings... The sky is the limit (within their ingredients list)! It's truly an experience, and they smash your mix-ins with the ice cream base in front of you on a deep freeze slab. They spread it out, then roll it and top it with whatever you want. Go crazy, and prepare to come back very soon! read more

I've had rolled ice cream in Thailand so was excited to try this place. The ice cream was good, not great. It's definitely worth trying for the experience and the photo, but I'll probably not go back. It's very expensive for starters ($7-$8), although you get a good amount of ice cream. My friend and I came in on a Monday night and it was a little busy (concert at Red Hat). The Food Hall has only been open a week at this point. There were probably 4 people ahead of us in line and we waited about 10 minutes just to order. Then, after ordering, it took 18 MINUTES to get my order. 18 minutes. There has to be a better way to do this whole process. I think they were short staffed, but it was still not very efficient. Also one of the staff stopped prepping the order she was working on to check her text messages with her gloves on and then went back to making the orders. If they can get on a better system with taking orders and efficiently working through them it will be a better experience. I can't imagine this place on a busy Friday or Saturday if it stays like this. YIKES. read more

Perfect dessert when you're inside Morgan street food hall! Ordered the special apple pie without the waffle cone which had cinnamon toast crunch whipped cream. It was delicious! My sister ordered the mint special with the waffle cone. I tried with and without the waffle cone and personally I like it better in the bowl, the waffle cone seemed to take the flavors of the ice cream away, and it's a few dollars more expensive for the cone. read more

This was by far some of the best Ice Cream I've ever had! It wasn't too sweet it was just right. I didn't plan on stopping by after getting food but I'm glad that I did, I wasn't sure on what to get but after talking to the employee she suggested her favorite the Benelux biscotti me and my husband enjoyed it the portion size was just enough and we will be back really soon. Raleigh Rolls is so good and unique! You can have one of their prescribed recipes or make your own. I made my own! They make it right there in front of you using fresh ingredients! And the ice cream theY use is sooooo incredibly creamy and has a great flavor, unless the other rolled ice cream place I have been to. Caleb, the guy who made my ice cream was soo ice and engaging! It's different something definitely worth trying. Really liked the chocolate overload Taco . It had all of my favorite toppings oreo roll with m&ms and pirouline. Chocolate overload was default on the menu but they have options to build your own roll as well.It is a bit on the expensive side 8.79$ with the taco (waffle cone shaped like a taco) and 7$ in a bowl. I've seen so many pictures of rolled ice cream and couldn't wait to try it! They are located inside of Morgan St hall, so parking can be tricky. This was our first time so we had a lot of questions! The staff was amazing and very helpful! You can make your own ice cream or pick the flavors already made. We ordered chocolate overload and mixed berries. The process was cool to watch and was ready pretty fast. Eating the ice cream was hard for me. It was hard and they loaded on the toppings. Too much of everything...(but you may like that). I wouldn't classify this as ice cream. I was originally so pumped to try this rolled ice cream. I waited in line with only 5 people ahead of me- from start to finish it took nearly 35 minutes just to get a bowl of ice cream! It's definitely not worth the wait. It take 5-6 minutes per ice cream. If you're in a rush this isn't for you. Now let's dig into this wannabe so called ice cream. It's very very bland. There is absolutely no flavor at all! Of course you can taste the mix ins of candy and what ever else. I was trying to taste the actual ice cream that doesn't even taste like ice cream. It's more like frothy heavy cream. This is a honest review I'm a complete die hard foodie- don't waste your time and get all hyped up like I did. This is more of a show to lure you in while watching "ice cream" be made. I'll be sticking with cold stone / FRESH. Local Ice Cream Shop near brier creek on 70 they have several locations and my other go to spot is Lumpys Icecream in wake forest. So now I got brave and decided to pry information from the workers because of my hunch of this not being true icecream- I went back up to the counter. I posed as I have a allergy and needed to know the ingredients. The 3 female workers were very polite and understanding of my concern they all explained in great detail how the icecream is made and ingredients. They even wrote it down for me. Here goes: 28 ounces of sweetened condensed milk 2 quarts of heavy cream Mix both together in a storage bucket of your choice Then measure out 4oz of the mixture & pour onto the cold plate. Mix & chop until a ice cream texture forms. Add mix ins into the mixture. (Oreos etc...) Then spread out onto cold plate then start rolling. As I guessed it just a heavy cream lol not even icecream. This was my first experience trying rolled ice cream and I was not disappointed. The wait was long but every staff member was genuinely upbeat and friendly, which made it even more fun to watch. I had a biscoff cookie and Nutella icream topped with another biscoff cookie, more Nutella and a roasted marshmallow! Yea the roasted a marshmallow on the spot with a torch and it was fantastic. I would highly recommend this place, it may be a a hectic spot with hard to find parking, but it is well worth it! read more

If you're looking for Instagram worthy ice cream this is definitely the place to come. Although, the ice cream itself really didn't have any flavor. I got the chocolate overload which is definitely loaded with toppings which give it flavor, but the ice cream itself tasted so bland. My family got the s'mores and the biscoffee which also didn't have much flavor. As I said earlier, the toppings made it good hence why I am giving it 3 stars still. I had been avoiding this place because I had previously had rolled ice cream and it felt like expensive normal ice cream in a different shape. However, this place is great. I stand by the fact that the rolls don't add much to the eating experience, but Raleigh Rolls has delicious ice cream and mix ins that I would thoroughly enjoy in any form! I love all sweets and ice cream. This was maybe the worst ice cream my fiancé and I have ever had. He ordered the Banana Puddin and I got the chocolate overload. His tasted like plain milk with a slight banana taste. Mine was OK- not very chocolatey. For $20 I'd expect some amazing ice cream. We will not ever get this again. read more

Wow! Rolled ice cream is such a cool concept and I have never had it til now. We stopped in the other day and ordered the pumpkin pie special in a waffle cone taco, the chocolate overload, and s'mores in a waffle cone taco. Whenever I thought of rolled ice cream, I imagined another Instagram food trend that was aesthetically pleasing and creative but totally lacking in the taste and/or quality department. Raleigh Rolls definitely changed my mind about that! The ice cream was creamy, tasted great, and we loved the addition of the torched marshmallow on the s'mores rolls. Ramy was the one who helped us out and he was very nice! I believe their menu items range between $7-$10 which isn't bad for being in the food hall. Their lines can get crazy long though, and they move pretty slowly because of the process of creating each rolled ice cream individually. But that's what makes the experience so awesome! All that being said, I give this place 5 stars. Because it's in Morgan Street Food Hall, it's needless to say that parking may be hard to find depending on the time and day you go but if you find yourself here I would recommend giving it a try! read more

My first experience with ice cream rolls! This is a fast casual stand inside the Morgan Street Food Hall. Want a shorthand summary without frills? It's *pretty* good ice cream, the rolls make it very dense (you get plastic spoons and the spoons would rather deform than cut through the rolls), it's very sweet (judging from two purchases), and the workers make things very efficiently. Price is... I mean, I think it's reasonable for the labor involved and you get a GOOD amount of ice cream (we easily split ours between 2 people each order). The employees work hard, I can't imagine their shoulders the day after a shift haha. There are only two stations so the line can get long, and there's not really a great place for the line to be, so things can get a bit crowded when it's busy. It's unique, it's instagrammable, and it's not bad at all. Worth bringing a friend to? Yes. Worth going out of your way if you want great ice cream?Probably not. Would I come back and try something else? Duh. It's ice cream :) read more

It's ice cream but it's rolled up. You choose 3 flavors and they're all mixed together, then you choose 3 toppings. Only one size and all blended together, takes the fun of trying different flavors. The price a little steep as well as you're paying a premium for the novelty of being 'rolled-up', $7 plus tax whoa. The ice cream is actually good, the value is just not there. read more

Came here the other night just before closing and shared a tasty treat with the wife. I'm not a huge fan of rolled ice cream in general, but this place does it right. The server told us that competitors often stop by trying to unlock their secret recipe (LOL). For $7 you get to pick up to 3 ingredients and 3 toppings! Super value and you will only have yourself to blame if you don't end up liking what you chose ultimately. Definitely top off your dessert with a biscoff. I highly recommend. read more

We can in for milkshakes…read more.. My wife and I stop by Andia's Ice Cream for milkshakes on a Saturday night at 7:30PM but, unfortunately the menu on the wall had sold out stickers on them. We decided to get ice cream in waffle cone since we couldn't get the milkshakes. I got the Cookies N Cream in a waffle cone My wife got the Cotton Candy in a waffle cone. The cookies N Cream was good but, the waffle cone was not. The waffle cones are the "softer" ones, i was expecting the classic crunchy waffle cone. I just ate the ice cream with a spoon out of the cone. The cotton candy was not good. It tasted like sugar free ice cream. Same thing with the waffle cone as I previously wrote. The service was great! The ambiance was nice. Not sure if we would go back, our favorite ice cream shop is in Durham and I would prefer to drive 30Min to that place. I would rate Andia's ice cream shop 5th in the Raleigh/Durham area for ice cream. *I would say give it a try I may love it.

The staff were friendly and the shop was clean and organized. I decided on the mango flavored frozen yogurt, I added a combo of coconut and the tart original plain yogurt. My toppings included pineapple and strawberry popping boba, kiwi, fresh mango and coconut shavings. Very tropical and Caribbean. Their watermelon flavor was not replenished so I couldn't indulge in that. This was so refreshing for a sweet treat on a 98 degree day. The shop is located next to Red Bowl and Golden Krust.

The ice cream is just so good, the texture, creaminess, and flavor profiles all incredibly well balanced. The shop itself is clean, well decorated, and inviting with a semblance to what you'd expect and desire from a classic ice cream shop. They even pay attention to the details, like using these fun metal spoons for tasting (highly suggested) instead of the typical flimsy plastic or wooden ones common in other shops, which are available for purchase. The staff was friendly, service was efficient. There is also some cool merch which is fun if you're into that stuff. Personally, I am not the biggest fan of their naming scheme for the options, instead of just having a single, double, or more straightforward menu options, they have names like "standard" which is actually 2 "half scoops" (quotes cause they're just small scoops), and then a single which is a single full scoop, or a trio which is 3 half scoops not full scoops, just overall a tad confusing and not straightforward in how much ice cream you are actually getting, though it does allow one to get multiple flavors more easily I guess? The prices are definitely leaning on the higher side, especially for pints, but I feel that is to be expected of "gourmet" ice cream shops, especially nowadays. Overall, I highly recommend for any and all ice cream lvoers, and will absolutely be returning myself.
