It's alright. They're made fresh, but the waffle part itself was mushy. The sauce on the nutty one is like Nutella, but not. The white sensation with warm white chocolate and Oreos was better. As I was walking back to my hotel late at night, I saw this amazing sign that practically screamed my name. Without slight hesitation, I walked in and was just fascinated at the choices. I have such a weakness for sweets and gelato would be included. Rajissimo is conveniently located near the waterfront. One visit just wasn't enough, I ended up visiting twice. Both times, the gelato was perfect and the waffle and cone were fresh. I wanted to try more of the items on the menu, but didn't get a chance. I would definitely recommend stopping by and having a scoop (or two) of their gelato on the waffle or even in a cone. read more

I've loved Belgian waffles with chocolate and ice cream ever since Belgium so given any opportunity to eat like that again, I'd gladly take. We came here after dinner for some ice cream and of course, I got the waffle with chocolate sauce and some ice cream. I loved it. My husband got a cone ice cream, but they also sell waffle sticks, waffle cones, gelato, waffles with just chocolate sauce, etc. It's a small little shop in Nyhavn so expect it to be a bit touristy, but we went when it was late in the evening so there wasn't a crowd at all. read more

Yes, it's smack dab in tourist central Nyhavn but am I gonna deny my friend her ice cream on a warm summer day? I'm not that mean. Judging by the scent of the freshly made waffle cones and the display case, this is a popular spot along the canal. I picked a banana chocolate chip flavor as per the staff's recommendation and my friend had the mojito and pistachio flavor. This place was great! I can only speak for the churros, but they were really fresh and delicious. I was staying nearby (71 Nyhavn Hotel), and had dinner down the street. Dinner was not so great, and I certainly did not want to stick around the restaurant for dessert. I spotted Rajissimo and decided to give it a try. The place is clean, service friendly, and everything in the cases looked awesome (and about a million calories!). I saw churros with Nutella and could not resist. One thing I really appreciated is that every churro was made to order, in what looked like an immaculate fryer. It's hard to go wrong with a Belgian waffle. This spot does it just right, gives you a variety of choices including a waffle on a stick! I ordered a Belgian waffle with "Nutella" (it wasn't actually Nutella, they said, but was just like it). I loved the sugar lined waffle with just the right amount of chocolate syrup. It's in such a beautiful location and I don't care that it's a tourist trap. Prices are pretty average for the area, but it's so delicious so it feels completely worth it. Tried a couple of their ice cream flavors and hazelnut was the most rich while the others seemed a little watered down. Got a waffle stick with chocolate since I've never seen it served like that and wasn't too pleased with the quality or taste. First off the sticks were already made and prob just sitting on the counter for hours so all the worker did was take the cold stick and dip it in chocolate. Me and my boyfriend were really craving some churros so we decided to try out this cute shop. The location is just magical and the price ratio for Nyhavn is also a big plus. The churros were so delicious and sweet that we immediately swore to come back to try more of the options sometime soon. Will I regret how much sugar I consumed? Probably. Will I regret the experience? Hell no. After trying Rajissimo and its fellow Nyhavn competitor, Vaffelbageren, I can definitively say come to Rajissimo!! Service: 4/5. It's a tourist area and it's a cramped understaffed shop, so it was hard to be patient, but the 2 ladies behind the counter were friendly and efficient. They were more than happy to give us sample flavors and attentive to each customer, serving them one-by-one to ensure we had great service. At Vaffelbageren, that was the complete opposite - trying to get the attention of those behind the counter was like trying to catch rain with a net: hopeless. Desserts: 5/5. The prices are definitely cheaper than Vaffelbageren by maybe 10-20kr, which adds up in CPH. There are just as many flavor options, too! I haven't tried their ice cream yet, but the churro and soft serve was a deadly combo I'd happily do again. At about 50-60kr, it was far too many churros for one person to finish, so it's a lot more affordable if you split! A lot of other people loved the waffles, so I'll be back soon. read more

I made it just in time before the big rush! The shop is tiny, but it smells amazing and is laid back. The smell from the shop lured me in to try the ice cream. After eating here, I have to say, the flavor of the ice cream is even more satisfying. I had a scoop of hazelnut and coconut ice cream in a waffle cone. The hazelnut had a rich flavor and great texture with the hazelnut bits inside. The coconut was also delicious and had a real coconut flavor with bits of coconut inside. Both flavors definitely do not taste artificial. So, that was a big plus since so many things nowadays have fake flavoring. As for the waffle, it was crunchy from beginning to end! I mean, there's this someone that stated this place has the best waffle in Copenhagen. I bought the waffle stick with white chocolate and sprinkles and my friend bought a bucket of churros. Delicious. The ice cream is a bit ice-y but that was perfect for this super hot summer day. The waffle cones are made on the spot and as the ice cream melts into them they become kind of pliable and even more fabulous. I had the pistachio and the Belgian chocolate.
