I would have assumed that since it is a world wide bank that would not have been an issue. Long lines at this branch, over a 20 minute wait time to see the teller. However, I've noticed bank lines in Mexico are a much longer wait than in the states, not sure why. I've seen bank lines, often, going outside and down the block. It's not like there isn't a shortage of banks here either. So yeah, it's interesting. So, the three stars are for the wait (which may or may not be fair since I just mentioned it seemed to be the norm here). Also for the curtness of the teller and for no way to know you're in the wrong line until you've waited in it long enough to talk to someone and they tell you so.

I have been with El Paso Teachers Federal credit Union for almost 50 years and when it transitioned to RAIZ federal credit Union, I was concerned because I didn't think the service could be improved upon. I was wrong. I found out Raiz had a special 7% CD and myself, family and friends made several deposits for the higher. I returned for a much higher CD investment for 4.7% for one year. No institution in El Paso offers anything close to Raiz' offerings. . Beatrice Estrada was extremely patient, professional, instructIve and exhibited friendly customer service. Here's my experience today 5/18/18. I write my contractor a check, I messed up on the check and put two thousand and initialed the five hundred on the bottom. I came to Wells today because I needed cash too. My contractor was with me. They were about to tell him he couldn't cash the check. The manager then states it's for my protection that they couldn't take the check. She asks me to write a new one???? Does the above situation make any kind of common sense? I tell you, I am very nice to people but when stupid people work in places that require a functioning brain, I can't take it. So, I then look at her and say well then I'll just withdrawal it. Duh? Come on Wells Fargo, let's start making your reps have a four year college degree! I'm only giving them 2 stars for Salina, the nice woman who helped me take the cash out! For the manager, you really need to get demoted or just find a new job. Clearly, you weren't helping me or protecting my account denying a check when I was present. Cry or laugh. I'll shrug my shoulders and just laugh at this!
