Have you ever tried to cook and noticed that one of your knives was duller than your worst first…read moredate? Then get that thing sharpened immediately! Dull knives are a safety hazard. I was trying to break down a whole chicken and noticed it took a considerable amount of effort to do so. It was time to have a professional take care of my knives. New England Sharpening Inc was a bit difficult to find at first as I turned too soon. Once I found the building, there was hardly any parking! I showed up late but the door was still open so I scurried in and asked the guy behind the desk if he had time for one more knife. He agreed to sharpen my cook's knife and was done in a few minutes. My knife cuts like it was brand new now! Prices were rather reasonable. I paid $3 which is much less than what I was used to paying at my usual spot back in California. In addition to knives, these guys sharpen chain saws, shears, woodworking tools, and a whole bunch of miscellaneous items. I may come back at some point to have my swiss army knives and emergency knives sharpened as well.

Initially, we spoke with Jane on the phone and she was very responsive to our phone calls and answered all our questions. When we went up to visit later that day (a short 50 minutes north of Manchester), we met Walter who was knowledgeable about nearly every kind of blade imaginable and we were further impressed. Clearly marked on the left side of the road about 4 1/2 miles from 93, the place is well-marked and very easy to locate. Their price list features everything from scissors and knives, circular blades and woodworking tools to lawn & garden stuff -- all at amazingly reasonable prices! Note to the pond hockey enthusiasts: they sharpen ice skates, too -- WICKED sharp!! Turn-around time is excellent also -- we dropped our blade off on Friday and will have it back on Monday. Can't wait to get it back and update this review! Btw, we are in NO way affiliated with, nor do we receive compensation from Bob's Sharp All for this review. We were just truly impressed!

When I returned I was just in time to see my previously EXTREMELY dull knife being tested. I found online places where you had to mail them away, buy packages and a la carte fixing services.. Gary takes care of all of it.
