Upon walking in, I knew it wasn't right for me and wanted to leave immediately but I decided to peruse a bit anyway. Sufficed to say, we didn't spend much time in here. I would agree with other reviewers that it is like a Williams Sonoma but local and I appreciate that. I, in no means, am not telling you not to shop here, please do support a local business. There are many items in this store and it can feel a bit overwhelming and the aisles are cramped big time. Not many people can be in here at the same time. The pricing is high and you can absolutely find some of the same items at a department store for a better price. The staff here didn't seem to care about customers, which is odd for a local business but maybe it was an off day. I'm sure Saturdays at the end of the season can be tough.

I'm a little biased because I've ever seen Shun knives In a physical store before so it was a real treat! The only complaint I have is some of the aisles are so close together that if they are moderately busy you will be constantly interrupted by people excusing themselves to squeeze by you. Not a big deal, but it's hard to focus on anything when you have to keep moving every 10 seconds.

Invariably, the staff is friendly, eager to please and the counter lines are quite short as the new Express Pay allows you to basically check out while you shop and put items in your cart, using your phone as a scanner. The user interface of their Express Pay has been tremendously improved. It used to be that if you left the app open and after checking an item, you went by an item with a UPC code, it would scan that too. Now you have to purposely tell the smartphone you're going to scan again. At the exit point, the scan person scans your phone and the system comes up with how many items to check, so it's a lot faster than before. They have an abundant supply of everything. Their prepared food selections are great. Once in a while, I come up here to get hors d'oeuvres and party food. Quite reasonably priced. The only recommendation is to train the staff more efficiently on computer systems. Oftentimes, the manager has to be called and that ties up everyone. Still, a great place to shop.

Sounds like a great deal and is, but things are so expensive that you are still paying a good chunk of change for their seconds boards. I bought a $380 large board and absolutely love it. The veteran employee who answered all my questions was amazing. She was so kind and thoughtful when I was trying to figure out what I wanted and educated us on the different type of woods. I loved how trusting she was when asking me the original price on the board and also when I paid inside and came outside to pick up the board. Great experience and I love my new heirloom board!

Rows and rows and shelves and shelves and three levels (no elevator, by the way) add up to space for a lot of stuff. Appliances, cutting boards, candles, jams, aprons, pottery, lots of wood products made in their store on the premises. And we've scarcely touched the range of stuff here. We should caution visitors that the pricers are not on the cheap side. The quality seems high, but so are most of the prices (look for sale items). That said, if you;re a kitchen fan, this is a very entertaining stop. It's in the vicinity of Dorset not far from Manchester but not a location you just likely to stumble upon (although that's what we did). And set aside some serious time to browse here; the stock is worth it.

Aharon designed our home for us 15 years ago ... He was creative, open-minded, a true problem solver, he was patient when we couldn't make up our minds and most of all he had fun doing it. He made us feel heard and is literally phenomenal at his job. Their taste and design skills expand styles -- which means your home can truly become a vision, not just specific to a narrow genre. This past year we had that very house destroyed due to water damage / broken pipe. The insurance company and contractors hired were nightmares. Aharon came to our help with enthusiasm. He is not only the reason this project will get done (even with people fighting us at every step) he is the reason I felt assured and okay during it. I leaned on him for more than his scope of work, I know that and he has never been anything but be receptive. To him it's not just about the tasks he owns but the whole picture--the outcome in it's entirety and that is what sets this company a part from the rest. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
