It was an overall pleasant experience, except for the communication with the salesman promoting the company. Once we signed the contract, he never followed through on anything. We were impressed, however, with the promptness, speed and precision of the service crew that did the installation of our new roof. They did a great job, as did the owner of the company who immediately addressed our concerns. I recently contacted Hector, the owner of Jimmy Roofing and asked for a big on reroofing a duplex in Northville and a roof repair on a 5-unit building I own next door to the duplex. Hector connected me with his son Keven. who came out and inspected the two jobs. He emailed me the bids and we proceeded from there. I was totally pleased during on my second experience with Jimmy Roofing and can't say enough about the communication between the company and myself. The service people who did the jobs as contracted arrived on time, worked efficiently and did everything as promised to my total satisfaction. I have other properties and jobs that I will be contracting with Jimmy Roofing in the future as I have been impressed with their fair pricing and wonderful work ethic.

We had a cash offer to close in a week and needed to address a few issues prior to closing. I reached out to Marvis on a short notice and he was able to accommodate all the fix and installation needed to sell the property. He installed for us a new furnace and also addressed multiple pipe leaks for us. His plumber actually missed a few leaks but what I really appreciate from Marvis was he took responsibility for this and sent the plumber out to address this without additional charges. He was also able to send his guys out on the weekend. What I really like about working with Marvis what there was a constant line of communication. Work debris was left in an unsightly mess in the yard, Rude workers behaving inappropriately, no consultation about needs or choices of materials. if I could give less than one star I would. Poor communication skills, shoddy work, unsavory workers, sloppy and negligible clean up, cheap materials and not standing by his work or word are the hallmarks of a contractor I would avoid like the plague. Brought color samples, provided design guidance, answered all of my many questions, and provide estimate same day. No pressure, no BS. Super nice and very professional. Price was in the ballpark of what I was expecting, not cheap but fair. I feel you get what you pay for, and this family owned company company did not disappoint. They started job about three weeks after making deposit. Showed up on time and got it done. Each day they worked hard, and then cleaned up before they left. Took four days total to complete the project. No complaints, no adjustments needed, no returns to fix anything. Everything was perfect. We originally had shutters around the windows but I wasn't convinced I liked them. So Andy (owner) offer idea for custom aluminum trim. Showed me pictures of what he's done before.
