I avoid doctors at all costs (hate waiting forever then being rushed through my appointment and not given any real, valuable information). I picked this practice based on location alone and had very low expectations, especially after my not great experience at the Urgent Care next door. However, I am genuinely shocked at how great my experience was overall. Everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly and warm, but Dr. Adams was wonderful. She took her time during the appointment and asked me multiple times if I had an additional questions. She answered in detail and even explained things that I didn't ask about (but was glad to know). Not to be corny, but for once, I felt like my concerns actually mattered to the Doctor. I will definitely visit Dr. Adams again.

The waiting room was clean and all patients and employees had to wear a mask. They are still social distancing, which is refreshing because Covid is not over. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone in the area that is needs it. I'm not wishing that anything happens to me and I have to go back, but if I do need to go back, I know exactly where I'm gonna go.

I can now see why my previous internist chose to not be part of this group any longer! The front staff is obnoxiously loud, extremely unprofessional, and more focused on socializing rather than giving accurate information/wait times for currently waiting patients. If you choose to continue coming here, I highly recommend in bringing earplugs, because you'll end up with a total migraine from the shrilling raucous. The phlebotomist is super lazy and inefficient, and, I kid you not, I have waited over 2+ hours to just get blood drawn. The last straw was when I was told there was no queue when I directly asked one of the receptionists what the estimated time of a wait was; I waited 20 minutes with no updates, and, when I finally went up to ask what the ETA was for the phlebotomist, the receptionist had the nerve to tell me that he wasn't seeing anyone currently, and it would be another 30+ minute wait. The communication here is wack. It's clear that the staff here has absolute no respect or consideration for patients' time nor any ounce of professionalism. +wack communication skills from front staff +lazy phlebotomist +horrific wait times

The reason I started with that is because after reading a review from Meredith P. it seems that she is angry about something. I am unsure if it's an issue at home, at work, or just something personal. Although my experience at this clinic wasn't perfect, it was still within my scope of expectation given all the variables. They got me in the next day. Bedside manner was excellent and I could tell that the physician actually took the time to listen to my concerns before jumping to a predetermined solution which is typically what happens after three minutes elsewhere. Now, back to Meredith and her vomit droppings. It seems that this angry troll only knows how to write One star reviews given the brief glance at her profile. If 90% of her posts consist of 1 star that means she is unaware that the rating system is a scale of 1-5. After that many negative experiences who continues to allow others to serve or feed them? I would just become a Hermit and hire a private chef after the first 20!

That BF and I have since parted ways, but not me and Dr. Gardner. He's a keeper! He is awesome! He is thorough, chipper, friendly and spends gobs of time with you explaining everything. He's dragged in medical books to show me illustrations and drawn things out so I have a visual when applicable. He also has this awesome Palm Pilot-esque device that he carries that holds a wealth of information about prescriptions and what brand is best covered by your insurance, what it interacts with and side effects- very handy! He also consistently checks me on my posture - I'm a big time sloucher. On the rare occasion that Dr. Gardner is away or I am needing a last minute appt and he's booked, I've also been to Dr. Tokarz who took a lot of time asking me questions about myself trying to get to know me and Ly-Lan Bergeron, a physician's assistant who also asks a lot of questions and is really caring. They used to have some awful people that worked up front, but thankfully all of them have been replaced and the new staff is GREAT! Their office is located directly off of 395 and there is a garage with validated parking.

Instead of being able to focus on what is happening in my personal life, I found myself stressed about avoiding a financial penalty. The policy made me feel pressured to come into my appointment despite my circumstances, which felt more like bullying than patient care. I understand that medical practices need cancellation policies, but there should also be room for compassion and reasonable discretion when patients are dealing with genuine emergencies. Healthcare should prioritize patients, not make them feel trapped between handling an emergency and avoiding a hefty fee. I hope this office reconsiders how it handles situations like these and treats patients with more understanding and empathy.
